The Nissan Quest is a minivan manufactured and marketed by Nissan for model years 1993–2017 over four generations.
The first two generations (internally designated V40 and V41) of the Quest were short-wheelbase models co-developed and manufactured with Ford, aside its badge engineered Mercury Villager. For model year 2004 and the third generation (V42), Nissan ended its joint venture with Ford, manufacturing the Quest on its own. For model year 2011, the fourth generation (RE52) became a widened variant of the Nissan Elgrand minivan and was now manufactured in Japan. For the preceding generations, the Quest loosely shared its chassis and powertrain with the Nissan Maxima.
Following the decline of minivan sales in North America, Nissan ended sales of the Quest after the 2017 model year.

I bought this van used with 20K miles on it and it has been a reliable vehicle for me and my family. Despite having 70K miles on it now, it still runs very well and has not had any major mechanical problems. Overall, the quality is good and my kids enjoy riding in it. While the engine is not very powerful, it is still a comfortable and fun vehicle to drive. The A/C and power windows are still working well, with the only quality issue being that the sliding door unlocks easily when driving on the highway after 65K miles. The dealer had to replace all of the door's hardware to fix it. We plan to stick with NISSAN for our new van this year, but we will need one of the latest models with the extra sliding door.

This is a fantastic vehicle - fun and easy to drive, comfy, sporty yet functional. I have had this van for 6 years and have only had to complete maintenance work on it. I have a very busy family life and used to commute 50+ miles daily to work, and this van took it like a champ!

I have owned several minivans in the past, but my Nissan Quest is by far the best for my needs. When I bought it, I had four grandchildren, but now I have six, and the 7-passenger seating is what drew me to the Quest. After purchase, I realized it had everything I needed in a minivan: style, dependability, great performance in all weather, even snow, and it seats everyone very comfortably. The gas mileage is also great. We have taken it on several trips and have always had the room and comfort of luxury vehicles. I am very pleased that I purchased it and I hope to trade it for a newer model soon. Thank you for making such a great vehicle!

The day I saw my Nissan, I was so thrilled! It felt like I was bringing home my baby for the first time, and it truly was! It rides great, feels open and comfortable! Believe it or not, we still have our Nissan, and it still runs well (it's 10 years old) and looks good! I am selling it only to buy another Quest! When talking about selling our van, my 8-year-old starts to cry because this is the only vehicle he has ever ridden in, and he loves it. He gets one seat, and his sister gets the other. Everyone in our family has their place in this van! We love it!! It was truly a blessing from God when we got this van!

Bought it new in 97 and still have it. Although it has had its fair share of problems for 114k miles, I hope to sell it before the transmission sticks. Unfortunately, I would not buy another Nissan again due to excessive engine noise, bad electrical problems (once for rear AC, twice for EGR valves), poor brakes, and frequent tire wearout.
