The Mitsubishi Endeavor is a mid-size crossover SUV built by Mitsubishi Motors at their manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois from 2003 until 2011. Design
Its design origins can be traced back to the Mitsubishi SSU which debuted at the 1999 North American International Auto Show, although the Endeavor does not share the concept's mechanical underpinnings. The prototype was powered by a 305 hp (227 kW) version of the 6A13TT 2.5-liter twin-turbo V6, which directed the power to a full-time all-wheel drive system through its INVECS-II five-speed automatic transmission and AYC. When the Endeavor debuted in March 2003, it used the 6G75 3.8-liter V6 offering 215 hp (160 kW) and 250 lb⋅ft (339 N⋅m), mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with an optional all-wheel-drive system that splits the torque 50/50 by default.
Despite some reasonably favorable reviews on its release, the Endeavor's performance in the marketplace failed to meet Mitsubishi's expectations. On its release in March 2003 the company aimed for 80,000 annual sales but had achieved only 32,054 by the end of its debut year, and sales fell every year thereafter.

I purchased my current vehicle after a disappointing experience with a 1999 Isuzu Trooper. Despite being advised against buying a Mitsubishi Endeavor, I decided to invest in a used one with only 2500 miles. Today, the car has 110,000 miles and has never required a visit to the repair shop, except for a new air conditioning unit. The engine has worked flawlessly throughout all these years, making it the perfect vehicle for my family's continuous use. I am grateful to Mitsubishi for producing such a reliable car at an affordable price. Despite negative reports about Mitsubishi, I know from personal experience that they produce great cars. The Endeavor is one of the best kept secrets of the Japanese car industry. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to producing such a great car.

I recently traded my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander for the 2010 Endeavor and I couldn't be happier! While the Outlander receives great reviews, I found that for my family's needs - comfort, convenience, and ease of operation - the Endeavor was the better choice. The ride on the Endeavor is far superior, with tight handling and great ride comfort. Although the interior room may be similar on paper, the Endeavor's layout is far more comfortable. Additionally, the six-speed transmission is smooth and has far greater low-end torque. I absolutely love it!

This is definitely my favourite car so far! I've owned and test driven many SUVs, but this one takes the cake. It's roomy without being too large, and there's plenty of space in the back for the kids and their uncle. They're always comfortable and never complain about the lack of space. Additionally, there's ample leg room in the back for taller passengers. My brother, who is 6ft, fits back there just fine. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase!

The Mitsubishi Outlander is a fantastic vehicle that is both fun and fast, while also being roomy and affordable. As someone who has owned numerous cars and SUVs, I can confidently say that the Endeavor is the best riding and most ergonomic vehicle I have ever owned.

About 1000 miles now, and I must say, this is a really great overall product! It's so responsive and fun to drive, not to mention peppy. The ergonomics are really nice too, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the fuel efficiency, which has consistently been over 22mpg. I drove everything on the market, from the 4runner to the LR2, and I truly believe that this is the best overall package for the best price.

My husband traded my Honda Accord for an Endeavor, but unfortunately, there have been some issues. The dealership told me that they could transfer my Sirius Radio into the new car, but it turns out that all I can hear is static. They explained that there isn't a part available to prevent interference with the radio. I was pretty frustrated about this. Additionally, I noticed that the radio volume kept changing, which was quite annoying. On top of that, the cup holder is not very secure, and I can't even keep a bottle of water in it without it flying all over the place. Overall, I find the car uncomfortable to drive and it's just not to my liking. I apologize to any Endeavor enthusiasts out there.

I really like the exterior of the vehicle. The seats are comfortable, especially the heated leather seats in the winter. It's fun to drive and outperforms the Pilot. I appreciate the folding seats, which are much more convenient than the Escape where you have to remove the headrest. The car fits two large dogs comfortably in the back, which is the main attraction for me as my dogs go everywhere with me. I also love satellite radio. However, I do wish that the wiper blades were quicker to respond to increase speed changes, especially since I live in the rainy Northwest. It would be great to have auto-adjusting wipers. I bought the iPod adapter, but unfortunately, I hate it! It takes control from your iPod and is impossible to find your music once it's hooked up. I would much rather have an MP3 input jack.
