I had a Cadillac Catera Sport previously and I must say that the VR-X is a better vehicle. The engine is smooth and powerful, and it handles great for a front-wheel drive. I did not experience any body roll on curves, and it still has a good ride. The only thing I would say is that I think the steering is a little too light.

Wow, it sounds like you've got a great car on your hands! With 137K on the clock and only having to replace the brakes and tires, it's clear that this car is built to last. I completely agree that the Bridgestone Insignia s-200's are a fantastic replacement for the Goodyears it came with, and they really improve the ride quality. The car has plenty of power, and if you use synthetic oil, you can get an impressive 22mpg in town and even better on the highway. Since switching to synthetic oil, you've consistently been getting 22mpg in town, which is amazing whether you're driving like a speed demon or taking it easy. This car strikes the perfect balance between sports car and luxury car, offering both style and pep as well as a smooth ride. In fact, it's the closest thing you can get to a BMW or a Mercedes for just 30 grand. Compared to the Camry and Accord, this car feels like a true luxury vehicle.

I love my 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante! It has all the creature comforts that I was looking for. When I drive by ladies with the Infinity stereo blasting loud, they always give me the eye. I love the feel of the leather seats. This car is the best! I wish I could live in it.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my Diamante. When I test drove it, I fell in love with the car. However, I did want to give you a heads up that the insurance rates for this car are quite high, even for a 5-year-old car. It may be worth getting an insurance quote before making a purchase. Additionally, the car gets around 19 mpg on the highway, which can be tough with the current gas prices. Personally, I've decided to trade it in for a car with cheaper insurance and better gas mileage. Despite these drawbacks, the car has a really nice style and runs smoothly. I should note that it doesn't perform very well in snow or slush, and parts and labor can be more expensive. I hope this information is helpful to you!

The 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante looks great and definitely has a high 'coolness factor'. However, the build quality is not up to par. As someone who has previously owned Toyotas, I am used to cars being tight and relatively maintenance-free. Unfortunately, this car has had constant rattles in the interior, the console is made of cheap plastic materials, and at only 13,000 miles, the front rotors were already warped (not covered under warranty). Additionally, I have noticed three rust spots on the hood (not covered under warranty), a squeak when turning sharply (which the dealer can't seem to find), and in cold weather, the door takes about ten slams to get it to close correctly. Lastly, the glove box has somehow sagged. Unfortunately, the car is now worth less than half of what I paid for it (no seriously, in less than two years it depreciated by $16,000).

The ride of the Diamante improved significantly with the addition of Goodyear Assurance tires. Overall, it is a pretty good value for the money. Although it had some initial glitches and required several days at the dealer to fix noises and adjust things, it has proven to be reliable. Currently, I am having trouble finding patch paint and misc. parts, but I am confident that I will be able to find them eventually. While I would like more power, it is adequate as is. During a recent trip to the East, I achieved a low of 22 and a high of 29 mpg, averaging 26.54 mpg at 70+ mph all the way. I am pleased with the performance. I recently had the opportunity to test drive the 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Although I can see why some people may have been interested in this car, it did not suit my needs. However, I did find a car that I really enjoyed - the 2006 BMW 7-Series. It has great handling, comfortable interior, and a sleek exterior. If you're in the market for a new car, I highly recommend checking it out!
