I THE ASKED WHAT THE COST ANOTHER MOTOR WOULD BE I WAS ADVISED A USED MOTOR WOULD BE $2915. I THEN MADE ABOUT 50 CALLS TO OTHER SERVICE CENTERS TO FIND OUT THE $2900 WAS A FAIR PRICE. MY HAS ALWAYS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED. I WAS OF COURSE VERY UPSET TO FIND OUT BY ABOUT 35 OF THE 50 MECHAINCS I TALKED TO ADVISED ME, I YOU LET THE DIAMONTE IDEL IT WILL BURN OIL THEN WITHOUT NOTICE YOUR ENGINE WILL BLOW. Hi there! I was reading some reviews and I noticed that some people had negative experiences with their Diamante. However, I wanted to share my positive experience with this car. My father bought it new and passed it down to me, and in the 1 1/2 years that I've had it, I haven't had any problems. In fact, my parents also had limited problems over the life of the vehicle. I do want to caution those who are purchasing a used vehicle to be careful and scrutinize where and who the vehicle was owned by. The way a vehicle is driven and maintained can really impact a used car buyer. Unfortunately, a car dealer may not disclose important information like the previous owner's driving habits or maintenance schedule. This car has been incredibly reliable and has never let me down. It's always been there for me when I needed it.

I've owned this car for 10 years, and that alone should tell you about the quality of this vehicle. I've done one major tune-up, changed the brake pads twice, replaced the tires twice, and the timing belt once. Despite having 165,000 miles, the car still drives great. It was driven by me first, then my wife, then my daughter, and now I'm back to driving it. I believe this car is worth every penny I paid for it, and it's been a relief not having car payments for the past 5 years!

Great car for the value! Recent models from 1997 onwards may have fewer features and a more generic design, but I really like the early design.

The car has had some issues with inferior or undersized rotors that have continually warped. Additionally, the car has burned oil from the beginning, which the manufacturer claimed was normal. Originally, it burned 1 quart every 1500 miles, but now it burns 1 quart every 400 miles. Overall, it has not been the best car.
