Model overview
Lincoln unveiled the MKC concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2013. The MKC went on sale in the summer of 2014 as a 2015 model. It is assembled at Louisville Assembly Plant. According to the manufacturer, the MKC further refines Lincoln's design traits originally embodied on the second generation MKZ.

For 2017, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were added to the SYNC 3 system and power liftgate and automatic brake hold were made standard.
For 2018, Lincoln added the Lincoln Connect 4G Wi-Fi system (standard on all trims). Premium models received four way power lumbar control for the driver seat and power lumbar was added for both seats on Select and higher trims.

Common 2019 Lincoln Mkc problems
The Lincoln MKC 2019 has received several complaints from its owners, primarily related to electrical problems and battery issues. This issue can lead to overheating, potentially causing damage to the engine and other related components.
Another major concern is the battery not keeping a charge, which has been reported by many 2019 MKC owners. This problem can result in a dead battery, even after a short period of inactivity. For instance, one owner reported that their car's battery was dead after just eight days of sitting in the driveway. This issue is particularly problematic in cold weather, as it can make starting the vehicle difficult or impossible.
The 2019 Lincoln MKC has also been recalled due to a problem with the battery monitor sensor, which could experience an electrical short and cause a fire. This issue can occur even when the vehicle is parked and off, posing a significant safety risk. Lincoln has urged owners to park their vehicles outdoors until a repair can be made.

- Summary: My Lincoln MKC 2019 2.0 EcoBoost with just 37k miles show and engine light. Dealership diagnostic was PC0301. Misfire on the cylinder number 1. The solution? Engine replacement with a cost of $9,000 USD. Due to a well know problem. Coolant leak. I can not afford to pay this amount, and unfortunately the vehicle is not under warranty. Ford Motor Company knows this issue and still isn’t doing anything to help owners that are out of warranty. Surely is not a problem cause by the user, is a defect from factory. This problem also affects Canadian market and Mexico.

POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-06-25
- VIN: 5LMCJ3D9XKU
- Components: POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
- Summary: The coolant/ transmission fluid is found to be leaking into the engine. Now I to pay for a new engine when I have had the car 1 year and 8 months. I still owe $22,000 on the vehicle, and while it’s said that Lincoln knew about this problem, no recall was ever issued. I am 3,000 miles over the warranty, but there are no security message popping up to say this is a problem. The dealership said nothing is firing of to warn of a problem in the computer either. I had the oil changed 1 month ago but was not told or warned of an engine defect either ( I was under mileage that time). I am asking for assistance to replace this engine. I feel there should have been a recall to replace the models effected. Others have had their engines replaced free of charge I asking to extended that same courtesy free of charge. And a recall should be issued for theses bad engines when the problem was known prior to sale. I have purchased Ford vehicles in the past and but I was married at the time but he too has a LMKC right now. Please advise on some type of assistance. Thank you

I purchased a 2019 Lincoln MKC last August (2021) and it took me some time to get used to it since I have always owned sedans, specifically six Cadillacs. However, I felt it was time for a small SUV and I am glad I made the switch. After several months of driving it, I can confidently say that I love this car. During a recent trip to Santa Barbara, I was amazed to see that it got 36 mpg. I specifically wanted a car with a panoramic sunroof, back-up camera and remote start, and I found all of these features in this car. I purchased it through CARMAX and the transition was very smooth. To my surprise, they gave me more money than I expected for my 2006 Cadillac STS with 142,000 miles. I had that car for eleven years, but the extended crank was never resolved and it was getting worse. Although I usually prefer pearl-colored Cadillacs, this blue Lincoln has won me over. I am very happy with my purchase.
-
The interior is very comfortable and the car has great pick up when accelerating, with incredible performance. The only complaint is that it spends too much gas.
-
Fantastic car! It sounds like you found the perfect car that combines the sportiness of a sedan with the benefits of an SUV. The reserve package features are definitely worth the extra investment.
-
Our Lincoln MKC is perfect in every way. It's so comfortable and easy to drive, with every possible amenity and comfort to make driving a breeze.

I recently purchased a ‘19 Lincoln MKC which is now named a “Corsair” with 18,000 miles. My wife drives a Cadillac XT5, a mid-size crossover compared with the compact MKC. I must say, the Lincoln is impressively quiet and its 2.0 liter turbo 4 engine is just as powerful as the Caddy’s V6. The Lincoln also handles a little quicker. After replacing the OEM Michelin’s with the new Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrives, both cars now ride smoothly. Both cars perform exceptionally well as one would expect of a premium brand. But, I must admit that I’m very pleasantly surprised with my first Lincoln. After 5,000 miles I find the Lincoln very enjoyable — great styling, inside and out; very quite engine/transmission; powerful 2.0L 4-cylinder Turbo with 21-23 MPG average; Chirping the FWD tires upon fast start from take-off is too easy; one must be careful especially on wet pavement. Handling is easy, but can be a little twitchy if one turns the steering wheel too quickly. Front seats and legroom are very comfortable - excellent on long trip. Instrumentation was easy to learn and all the dash “buttons” work well. No repairs or maintenance except oil changes with odometer at 24,000 miles. I am very happy and impressed. When the next car purchase happens, I’ll certainly have another Lincoln on my favorites list!11/6/2022 Review Update: All problems with wet traction and handling were corrected by installing the same tire that I had put on my wife’s ‘17 Cadillac XT5 - Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrives. What an incredible improvement! My Lincoln is now more IMPRESSIVE. UPDATE: My ‘19 Lincoln MKC (now renamed Nautilus) with 27,000 miles is an awesome compact crossover SUV. The 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder is powerful, quiet, trouble-free and with efficient 21city - 30 freeway MPG of fuel. Handling is sporty, ride is smooth and seating is comfortable in a very spacious cabin with premium materials. The exterior and interior styling is modern and beautiful. What items need improvement? The brakes are touchy and require little pressure, and shifting in lower gears could be smoother. However, my overall experience has been exceptional, and I would highly recommend this premium SUV. This is my first Lincoln, and I will certainly buy another.

Hi there! I was considering purchasing the Stelvio compact SUV for my wife and me, but I was a bit hesitant due to my frequent interstate travels from N.C. to TN, GA, and back. I was worried about the car breaking down in the mountains or backroads. However, I found a great deal on this car with 0% interest, zero down, and no payments for 90 days, plus 20% off MSRP. I did end up putting 2K down on my credit card to collect some rewards points. While the car is average at best, I do appreciate the Waze feature. The only downside is that it would eat up one month of data on a 3-day single trip, but I recently got unlimited data with my new plan. The seats are a bit narrow for long trips, but the updated Corsair is wider. Unfortunately, they added a wider center console instead of making the seats more spacious. Overall, I wouldn't purchase another Lincoln due to some annoyances such as unexplainable front strut creaks and moans, panels that never aligned properly, and limited trunk space. However, the ride is quieter, which is a plus. Despite the 12-way adjustment ability, the seat position is uncomfortable for me. Thanks for listening to my experience!

My truck has experienced a recurring issue with the USB port overheating and emitting smoke and a burnt smell. Despite having only 4,000 miles and having already been taken to the dealership twice, the issue persists. It is imperative that this issue is resolved immediately to ensure the safety of both myself and others on the road.

I really enjoyed owning several Lincolns in the past, but unfortunately, I didn't care for the old grill on the MKC. So, I decided to wait until the body styling changed. In the meantime, I owned a Cadillac SRX and found that the MKC didn't even come close in comparison. The ride, luxury features, quietness, and comfort left much to be desired on the MKC. It felt like a glorified Ford Escape. I was hoping for so much more. The interior seemed average, not at all the feel and features I remembered from our previous Lincolns. I think Lincoln could really improve their game in the small luxury SUV category. I will be trading this MKC in ASAP.

Make sure you get all the options they claim. I did not. (I was terribly misled by a salesman who was fired shortly after). Rain-sensing wipers and all-wheel drive are a must, as well as adaptable suspension. You can also ask them to throw in 20-inch wheels, but you may have to go for the Black Label to get them. Keep in mind that this can become expensive, so it's always a good idea to shop around.

It seems that Ford/Lincoln has some peculiarities that Asian companies have already resolved. For instance, there are separate buttons for the roof shade open/close, sunroof forward/back, and moonroof/vent only feature. In contrast, Kia and Hyundai have incorporated all of these functions into one singular switch, eliminating the need to feel around the roof panel for unnecessary buttons. With Kia/Hyundai, you simply press the switch once lightly to the first detente, either forward or back, and the shade opens/closes. A harder press past this point opens or closes the sunroof with only ONE rocker style switch. The mirror buttons also have too many options. Additionally, there are two buttons for the dashboard lighting dimmer/illumination switch, which seems excessive. Why not have one that rocks up or down? The console is also overly large, which can be intrusive for some drivers. As a small guy at 5' 8
