In our testing, we found this engine to be smoother than the four, but the RC350 is still not as gutsy as rivals. While it managed a 5.6-second run to 60 mph, the BMW 440i coupe we tested did the deed in 4.4 seconds—a performance difference that feels a lot bigger than it looks on paper.

Negative 2017 Lexus Rc 350 car reviews

The steering can be a bit challenging and the vehicle alignment may cause some issues, especially on wet surfaces. While some dealerships have stated that the car is within spec, I had a less than satisfactory experience with a few of them. However, I must say that Lexus of Tampa Bay went above and beyond to handle correcting the issue and pleasing a customer. Once the issue was corrected, the car has indeed been pleasing to drive and definitely turns heads. If you are a Toyota brand enthusiast, you may want to consider a V6 Camry or a Lexus IS and save some money. Overall, my experience has made me a one-time Toyota/Lexus brand buyer, but I appreciate the efforts of Lexus of Tampa Bay to make things right.

I have driven this car for 3 years with under 11k miles and have had to replace the front brake rotors from aluminum to steel due to a design defect. Additionally, I had to replace a rear shock due to a faulty part. Currently, the front facing A/C vents are not functioning properly, spewing cold air on the driver's side and hot air on the passenger side, even without dual climate control enabled. I have scheduled another trip to the dealership to address this issue.

This is a replacement for our 2013 Lexus GS 350. We've had the car for about three months now and I wanted to share some of my thoughts. First of all, I have to say that this car is visually stunning. I've had at least 100 people stop me to ask what kind of Lexus it is, and they all comment on how gorgeous it looks. I have the Ultrasonic Blue with playa interior, and the fit and finish of the interior are exceptional. The F Sport seats have the right amount of side bolstering for fast cornering. However, I do have a couple of gripes with this car. The engine is a bit underwhelming. It's the same engine from the GS, but it seems to be tuned much less sporty. Despite this, I have found lots to like about the vehicle, such as its reliability and functionality. While the same issues that plagued the car after a few months still exist, such as bad fuel economy and a glitchy CPU for navigation, Lexus has somewhat addressed the fuel economy by introducing the 4 cylinder turbo RC. Knowing what I do now about this car, I would purchase it again as it checks off many of the boxes for my needs and there aren't droves of them on the streets like the BMW 4 series. If you are in the market for an RC, I would recommend searching around because there are some great deals out there.

Positive 2017 Lexus Rc 350 car reviews

  1. Deontae Morissette 2025-04-14

I really appreciate the sophistication of the standard RC350 F-Sport, but I felt that it lacked the performance to match its stunning looks. I mean, who wants to spend 60k on a sport coupe only to get blown away by a souped-up Golf R-type? Luckily, with the growing owner base, there are now plenty of performance options available in the aftermarket. For less than 3 grand, I was able to upgrade my RC350 F-Sport to be faster than its big brother, the RF-f. It's still quiet and smooth riding when I want it to be, but a real beast when I let it loose. I absolutely love driving this car just for the sake of driving it...even more than my classic 911. I highly recommend it!

  2. Timmy Prohaska 2025-04-13

Congratulations on your new Lexus coupe! It's great to hear that you're enjoying the ride quality and getting compliments on the atomic silver color. It's also good to know that the engine/exhaust note is fun when you put your foot in it. I appreciate your practical approach to balancing power and fuel economy. The blind spot, cross traffic and rearview cameras are definitely helpful features. It's impressive that you have enough head room even at 6'6

  3. Marquis Gleason 2025-04-02

There are many videos available on YouTube, but I must say that my personal experience with this coupe has been simply impressive. The RC 350 has all the latest technology that a student could want, from navigation and phone features to radio and radar cruise. I am particularly impressed with the radar cruise control feature, especially when driving long distances. As for the engine and transmission, I believe they are the most reliable components of the car, and they won't require any major maintenance until over 100,000 miles. I think that's great for a student!

  4. Howard Schneider 2025-03-11

This is such a comfortable and pleasurable car to drive! I used to own a 1999 350SC and I absolutely loved it. I drove it for 13 years. I tried an Infinity, but ended up switching back to Lexus in 2015 and I couldn't be happier!

  5. Herminio Dare 2025-03-01

This is my 5th Lexus. I have always found them to be exceptional, but this coupe is particularly enjoyable to drive. I test drove the 435, A5 and C300, all of which were very fine cars. However, for me, the Lexus once again proved to be the total package. While it may not be quite as fast as the BMW or the Audi, it is certainly fast enough for most people. The ride and handling are superb, and I have received many compliments on the car's appearance. Mine is in Infared and Playa.
