Common 2016 Lexus Rc 350 problems
The Lexus RC 350, a luxury sports coupe, is known for its powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine, advanced technology, and comfortable interior. However, like any vehicle, it has its share of common issues that owners have reported.
One of the most common problems is excessive oil consumption. This issue is not unique to the RC 350, but it is a concern for many owners. The engine may burn through oil faster than expected, leading to increased maintenance costs and the potential for engine damage if left unchecked.
Engine misfires are another issue that some RC 350 owners have experienced. This can be caused by various factors, such as faulty spark plugs, ignition coils, or fuel injectors. An engine misfire can result in reduced performance, decreased fuel efficiency, and increased emissions.
Timing chain issues have also been reported by some RC 350 owners. The timing chain is a crucial component that synchronizes the engine's camshaft and crankshaft movements. If the timing chain stretches or fails, it can cause severe engine damage. Regular maintenance and inspections can help prevent timing chain problems.
Transmission issues are another area where the RC 350 has had some problems. Transmission failure, delayed or harsh shifting, and transmission fluid leaks have all been reported by some owners. These issues can negatively impact the driving experience and may require costly repairs.
Electrical problems are not uncommon in the RC 350, with battery draining issues, malfunctioning sensors, and power window problems being reported by some owners. These issues can be frustrating and may require professional diagnosis and repair.
Suspension and steering issues have also been reported by some RC 350 owners. Suspension noise and vibration, steering wheel vibration, and alignment issues can all affect the driving experience and may require professional attention.
Fuel system issues, such as fuel pump failure, fuel tank leakage, and fuel gauge malfunctioning, have also been reported by some RC 350 owners. These issues can impact fuel efficiency, performance, and safety and may require professional repair.
Brake issues, including brake noise and vibration, brake fluid leakage, and premature brake wear, have been reported by some RC 350 owners. These issues can affect safety and should be addressed promptly.
In conclusion, while the Lexus RC 350 is a capable and stylish luxury sports coupe, it is not without its common issues. Regular maintenance and inspections can help prevent or address many of these problems, ensuring a safe and enjoyable driving experience.

There are many videos available on YouTube, but I must say that my personal experience with this coupe has been simply impressive. The RC 350 has all the latest technology that a student could want, from navigation and phone features to radio and radar cruise. I am particularly impressed with the radar cruise control feature, especially when driving long distances. As for the engine and transmission, I believe they are the most reliable components of the car, and they won't require any major maintenance until over 100,000 miles. I think that's great for a student!

I'm so glad I found something different and exciting in this car! It's smooth and powerful enough to make driving fun. Every time I get in the car, I can't help but smile, and with Lexus reliability, I know I'll be enjoying it for a long time. While it may not be a track car, that's not what I was looking for. It's the perfect car for a great trip with a friend or loved one! Plus, there are some fantastic deals to be had on the 2015 model.

I purchased my 2015 Certified Lexus in 2017, and it's an F sport model. The suspension, shift points, and throttle response are all changed, making it incredibly fun to drive. For me, the 306 hp with the amazing 8-speed shiftable transmission is more than enough. The cockpit is beautifully lit at night, and the gauge package is superb, even featuring digital MPH! I've had all of the service done by my Lexus dealer, and it just received its 60k service. Overall, it's a truly amazing vehicle!

This is a replacement for our 2013 Lexus GS 350. We've had the car for about three months now and I wanted to share some of my thoughts. First of all, I have to say that this car is visually stunning. I've had at least 100 people stop me to ask what kind of Lexus it is, and they all comment on how gorgeous it looks. I have the Ultrasonic Blue with playa interior, and the fit and finish of the interior are exceptional. The F Sport seats have the right amount of side bolstering for fast cornering. However, I do have a couple of gripes with this car. The engine is a bit underwhelming. It's the same engine from the GS, but it seems to be tuned much less sporty. Update*** It's been 2+ years since I purchased the RC350, and I have found lots to like about the vehicle (e.g. styling, reliability, functionality) while the same issues that plagued the car after a few months still exist (bad fuel economy, glitchy CPU for navigation). Lexus somewhat addressed the fuel economy by introducing the 4-cylinder turbo RC. Knowing what I do now about it, I would still purchase this vehicle again because it checks off many of the boxes for my needs, and there aren't droves of them on the streets (ala BMW 4 series). Update*** It has been almost three years since I leased the RC350. Styling-wise, it has aged well, but technology-wise, three years is a lifetime. The interior has held up well, and the overall mechanics of the car work fine. Lexus has seemingly abandoned this car from an advertising standpoint as everything is now compact SUV-biased. If you are in the market for an RC, search around because there are great deals out there.

With only 11k miles and 3 years of easy driving, I have had to replace the front brake rotors from aluminum to steel due to a design defect, and also replace a rear shock due to a faulty part. Currently, the front facing A/C vents are not functioning properly, but I have scheduled a visit to the dealership to address the issue. Despite these challenges, I have enjoyed owning this vehicle and look forward to resolving these minor issues.

The steering can be a bit challenging and the vehicle alignment may cause some issues, especially on wet surfaces. While some dealerships have stated that the car is within spec, I had a less than satisfactory experience with a few of them. However, I must say that Lexus of Tampa Bay went above and beyond to handle correcting the issue and pleasing a customer. Once corrected, the car has indeed been pleasing to drive and is definitely a head-turner. If you are a Toyota brand enthusiast, you may want to consider a V6 Camry or a Lexus IS and save some money. Overall, my experience has made me a one-time Toyota/Lexus brand buyer, but I appreciate the effort made by Lexus of Tampa Bay to make things right.
