I'm a huge Lexus fan! My first experience with the brand started when I was just 11 years old. My aunt purchased her 2001 Lexus ES300 and I still remember seeing it in my grandmother's driveway when she came to visit at a family function. It was black with tan interior, moon roof, 6 disc cd changer, and those interesting wheel designs. As a car fanatic, this experience put me on a path towards Lexus ownership. I used to accompany her to the dealership during maintenance time and leave with 3 or 4 brochures for all of the models. My favorite was always the LX and the GS, primarily because they were still pretty rare. The brand was known for reliability, comfort, value, and safe styling. Fast forward a few years, in 2012 I got my first Lexus, a 1999 ES300! This was a great car but I craved more performance, so in 2015 I purchased my first GS, a very well maintained (100k mile) 2006 GS430. The quality was top notch and it was a good look for a young professional as I'd started my first business and felt I deserved an upgrade. After a long day, I really enjoyed the commute back home. I enjoyed the safety as well -- my wife basically took the vehicle from me, she looked better in it, plus I knew our two children were safe. My review will be written from the perspective of a previous GS owner upgrading to a newer model. By 2018, we'd moved to Nashville and I traveled across town often. The fuel economy grew tiring, so my wife utilized the vehicle more and more. It went through quite a few sets of tires and at 150k+ miles, it was time for an upgrade. So for my birthday in June 2018, I went to my Lexus of Nashville dealer with a simple request -- a GS350 F-sport with a red interior!The Lexus dealership experience is a crucial part of owning a Lexus. They treat you like family, are extremely knowledgeable, dependable, and a joy to talk to when you're on site. I still pick up brochures for other models. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Lexus GS350 f-sport AWD with 30k miles on it. The Atomic Silver over red (Cabernet) color combination is stunning, and the huge infotainment screen, beautifully crafted interior, superbly comfortable/adjustable seats, f-sport package, and heated steering wheel are just some of the features that make it a joy to drive. From the moment I set eyes on it, I was in love and amazed that this was my life. Although I got the L Certified pre-owned designation, I still debate about this to myself as I am a big believer in Lexus reliability, so I wonder if the extra cash was worth it. Regardless, the experience has been amazing and uneventful as I've had it for one year now. It fits in well at cars & coffee meets, and my wife really enjoys it. Compared to my GS430, I do wish that the sport mode and controls to make the suspension firmer could be separate to make it a more effortless driving experience. However, I think this is where the car challenges you, reminding you that driving can be an art form if done properly. I've read complaints about the infotainment/mouse controls, but I find them very simple to use, and they are a major upgrade compared to the 430. Plus, the HVAC controls are easy to access, playing music via Bluetooth is seamless, and I'm not sure what everyone is doing to get so upset with it. I don't interact with it that often, and setting destinations in the GPS takes a little patience, but that's life. Although sometimes I use my phone, it's no biggie. The space between the wheel and fender caused by the AWD system is not my favorite, and I've thought about coil overs to lower it, but again, it's no big deal. I just think other automakers integrate it better.Lexus did not take any major risks with the technology in this one compared to other automakers. However, I believe that future pre-owned buyers may appreciate this approach. The driving experience is fantastic, making it suitable for long cruises out of state or short trips to the store. At any moment, I can go from enjoying a nice cruise to punishing a Mustang -- effortlessly, and quickly/safely slowing down when nearing law enforcement (haha). Overall, my experience with the 2015 GS350 f-sport AWD has been amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to make a statement or reward themselves. It's a stylish car that is easy and inexpensive to own, operate, and maintain. I only have to spend on fuel and carwashes/tire-shine, as the LCert covers all other maintenance for now. But the car is bank vault quiet and handles amazingly well. It even smokes the 5 series and has a nice tendency to oversteer, like a great driver's car. However, the navi and entertainment user interface could use some improvement as it can be a bit confusing to use. It takes two screens just to toggle AC on or off, which can be frustrating. Overall, though, it's a great car to drive!

A few years ago, I bought my wife a 2015 GS 350 - Certified Pre Owned. I believe that this is an excellent option. The car had around 30,000 miles on it and, thanks to the CPO program, it came with several free services. Out the door, I paid around $30,000. My wife is not a car enthusiast, but she appreciates a reliable, luxurious, and comfortable car, as well as a good dealer experience. I think that this is the perfect car for her. Previously, she owned a 2008 Infiniti M35 and then a 2012 Volvo S60. I have owned a Mercedes SLK230 and a BMW 335i. In my experience, German cars tend to start having issues around 80,000 miles, which is when I tend to get rid of them. However, this Lexus should have no problem going to 160-200k miles with almost no problems. It has been my experience that once a car starts having problems, they just keep happening. So, if you compare this GS350 to a German car (Audi, BMW, Mercedes), it is fair to say that you will get 50-100% more

I recently purchased a 2015 CPO F-sport, but unfortunately, I have not been satisfied with my experience so far. Despite my history of keeping cars for 6-8 years, I am already considering trading it in after only one month. While the car looks nice and has a sporty appearance with the F-Sport package, it has several drawbacks. The acceleration is lacking, and the transmission seems to get stuck in higher gears for too long, which is not ideal for an 8-speed Tranny. Additionally, the seats are uncomfortable, and the handling is only average, especially with the 19-inch wheels. The car also lacks some basic features, such as a holder for sunglasses and a visor extender to block the sun. The electronics are complicated, and the mouse-like controller is difficult to use. Overall, I believe that the car is overpriced for what it offers, with 4-cylinder acceleration and 6-cylinder gas mileage. Despite these issues, I am confident in my decision to trade it in while it is still under CPO warranty.

Hello! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience with the navigation system in my Lexus. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing some issues with it since January 2019. Despite four updates, the system still doesn't seem to be working correctly. I even test drove a 2018 Lexus and found the same issue. While I have had success with my portable Garmin GPS units, I have not had the same luck with my Lexus/Toyota system. I have reached out to the corporate management in Torrance and Irvine, CA via certified letters and phone calls, but have not received a response. I understand that these things can take time, but I am disappointed that my concerns have not been addressed. The Riverside and Newport dealerships have also been unable to fix the issue. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your time.

Big bones performance- Engine, transmission, and handling are wonderful. However, the technology package is HORRIBLE. It is totally unintuitive and completely missed the mark. I can't believe how little thought was put into very basic controls. I must say, I am disappointed beyond words.
