On March 19, 2020, Toyota expanded the recall to include 2015 Lexus GS350 vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.
- Consequence: If the fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began May 4, 2020. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371 or Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 20TB02 and 20TA02 for Toyota vehicles and 20LB01 and 20LA01 for Lexus vehicles.

This car is fantastic! I test drove several luxury cars, including BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac. While the Cadillac CTS was my second favorite, it had some significant weaknesses. However, the Lexus GS 350 is the complete package. Although the infotainment system may take some time to get used to, it's the only real weakness. The car handles beautifully, has a smooth and powerful engine, and is incredibly quiet at high speeds. The interior is wonderful and has all the features you could want. If you're in the market for a car in this category, the GS is definitely worth considering. Update: I've owned the car for two years now, and I still love it. I haven't had any issues or complaints with it.

Lexus' long list of accolades - luxurious, comfortable, reliable, solidly built, great resale - never included exciting ... until the new generation GS. This beauty can go toe-to-toe with the best of the Bavarians and then some. The tried and true V6 churns out power to spare, and the vastly improved suspension hugs the road like a proper sports car should. All of this while wrapped in a cabin as well-appointed and artfully crafted as a six-figure Bentley. I've had my GS for about a year now, and I can say without hesitation that it's the best car I've ever owned, including 3 BMWs. While the Bimmer 5 series is evidently more adept in the hardcore performance arena of straight-line grunt and skidpad adherence, the GS' total package of luxury, performance and rock-solid build quality is unmatched among the luxury sports sedan segment. I do wish the shift points were a little more precise (a nit to pick, for sure) and, like everyone else who has ever used Lexus' infotainment interface, that mouse thing can be a bit of a nuisance.

Love the Gs! I just picked it up. It's beautiful inside and out. Although, the navigation system has a huge learning curve, even for the computer-savvy driver. It's definitely a lot of car for the money.

I received my new GS350 yesterday, which comes with NAV, Blind Spot Alert, Park Assist Sensors, Mark Levinson Audio, Luxury Package, and more. During the test drive, I found that the sport model did not suit my taste due to the metallic interior and non-rotatable tires. I traded my Mercedes E350 for this new GS and I must say that I find it more refined, with higher tech features, a less harsh ride, reduced road noise, higher quality interior, more comfortable seating, and superior handling and responsiveness compared to the Mercedes and BMW's I have owned. Although the only similarity to my 2001 GS300 is the GS insignia, the technology is unbelievable and the interior resembles the cockpit of a Gulfstream Jet. I believe that it was worth every penny I spent on it!

I bought my Lexus certified from a dealer. It's actually my second car, my first being a BMW 335i. While the Lexus is roomy, soft, and reliable, I still believe that BMW materials are of better quality. However, the Lexus comes with many options that you would have to purchase separately with a BMW, making it a better value for your money. As someone who has owned 3 BMWs, I can confidently say that the Lexus strikes an excellent balance between a boat and a sports car. While it may not be a sports car like a BMW, it still performs well. In the 5 years that I've owned it, I've only had to change the rotors and pads once, and change the oil. In contrast, my BMW has required more maintenance, despite being driven only on weekends and otherwise well-maintained.

I purchased the car used with under 30K miles and have driven it for 49K miles. During my test drive, I noticed that the driver wheel well occupied a good portion of the left leg room, which made it difficult to stretch out my non-driving leg. Additionally, the navigation screen, while impressive in size, is not very user-friendly. The AC also requires the use of a mouse for many functions, which can take some getting used to. Furthermore, there is some rattling noise coming from the front speaker, which is out of warranty and needs to be fixed. Despite these issues, my biggest complaint is the recent brake and tire replacement, which has resulted in squeaky brakes and less smooth tires. I am taking it back to the dealership to see what the problem is. However, if you can overlook these issues, the car has good power and handles well around curves.

I have mixed reviews on this car. Let me start by saying that this is my 3rd Lexus, and up until this point, I have been a huge proponent of the brand. I think in the past they have produced a superior product. That being said, the GS 350 has some of those same characteristics: superior performance, acceleration, comfort, handling, and style. However, I have experienced some issues with the power locks on the doors. Each door has its own actuator that locks and unlocks the doors when shifting into drive, and with your door lock handheld key. Unfortunately, Lexus used subpar materials in the actuator, causing it to fail prematurely. I have had 2 door failures in the first 70k miles, and the repair cost for a single door is over 600 dollars. Needless to say, I am disappointed with this issue. I hope Lexus will consider addressing this problem, as it affects the overall quality of their brand. Despite this issue, I still believe that Lexus produces a great product, and I will continue to be a fan of the brand.

I leased this car after the Hyundai Genesis as I was looking for a more engaging chassis, and I was not disappointed. The ride, handling, and power are mostly very satisfactory. However, I would like to caution you that the engine drives like a 4 cylinder in many ways. Acceleration is a function of waiting for 1-2 downshifts all the time as the torque is limited. Standing start acceleration is impressive but is not that easily accessible while driving without 2 downshifts, and the transmission is sluggish on downloads leading to some frustration and then over-reaction by the car. Unfortunately, the dash technology is terrible and much worse than the Hyundai. iPod integration, NAV performance and route management, radio presets are so poorly done on the Lexus that it limits their value. Most everything requires many extra clicks to do anything and then still works badly. The steering wheel controls are poor, and phone integration is very poor with address book sync meaning phone numbers only, so business contact lists with addresses do not show up in the NAV. Address book entries must be done manually. Voice recognition is no better than cars from 2000. The Nav system reports no such address on a number of occasions, and then my Android phone takes me right there. I then click with the Lexus NAV at the address I've now arrived at, and it reports the correct address; it just won't navigate to it! There are many odd design choices like the car beeping when you get out if the headlights are on and set to auto or the sunroof is in the vent position. The older iPod shows up as USB and then says no songs, so I had to buy a new iPod. The front seat drink holder blocks controls, or the silly joystick takes up much of the center console, or the small hard-to-use glove box that can break items as you close the door. Overall, I hope this review helps you make an informed decision, and I wish you the best of luck in your car search!The sun roof can be noisy and lacks smart controls like the Genesis. To open it in vent position, you must close the vent with one control and switch to the 2nd sun roof control to open. However, there are no click detents, so you have to hold the control for 3-4 seconds instead of a click like the door windows have for auto-open, etc. It's not horrible, just an older design in many places compared to other car companies. The car is great to drive, but you won't get much value out of the technology. Take a closer look at the drive line behavior, partial throttle downshifts, etc., and the NAV system/how the radio works. After 39k, the pure city mileage is about 17, mixed about 19, and pure freeway 25-30. It doesn't seem to matter how I drive, super gentle or brisk. At 44k, it's about the same. The summer tires lasted an amazing 45k, so alignment is easy on tire wear. The biggest day-to-day issue is that the drive line works too much like a 4-cylinder engine, and since the transmission doesn't like down-shifting, moving through traffic requires planning, much like an old turbo design. There's no power for a while. The car really doesn't need eight gears and this motor. Since the car is not agile or happy on a really tight mountain road and is more of a GT-type sports car, it's better to have a motor with good torque and six gears, especially since gas mileage is on the low end. The sun roof has developed a rattle in turbulence, and the front end squeaks like an old Chevy needing a chassis lube, but the dealer will likely fix these issues.

Hi there! I've been dreaming of owning a Lexus for over 12 years now, but I always ended up buying reliable yet cheap cars. In 2011, I finally decided to treat myself and bought the new Ford Explorer Limited. I absolutely loved that car, especially with all the amazing options it had. However, once I got rid of it and leased my GS, I knew I had made the right choice. This car runs so smoothly and feels like pure luxury when you're behind the wheel. The exterior looks sporty and it accelerates quickly. The brakes work perfectly, even for a woman driver like me! LOL The only thing I would improve upon is the electronics. The sound quality for the stereo is a bit lame and the radio looks a bit cheap. However, I do love the larger navigation screen, although it took me a few tries to get used to the mouse. Overall, I think Enform is great!

The car is definitely fun to drive! It has great power and performance, and the handling is top-notch. While there are other cars out there that offer similar performance at a lower price point, I still really enjoyed my time with this one. Although I didn't end up going with the Volvo S60, I'm sure it's a great car too. The options on this car were a bit overwhelming for me, and I found myself getting distracted by all the bells and whistles instead of focusing on the car's true value. While it may be a bit pricey, I still think it's a great car overall. Plus, my wife really liked it too!
