I've had this SUV for a couple months now and I'm really enamored with it. The Evoque has great design inside and out, with excellent comfort and performance.

Hey there! It's always important to be cautious when reading reviews. If you're interested in a car, make sure to ask plenty of questions, take it for a test drive, and even talk to current owners. By the way, I wanted to share that I've been the proud owner of my car for a year now and I absolutely love it! It's comfortable, reliable, and the perfect compact size for me. Plus, the styling is beautiful. I do want to mention a couple of minor things though. Firstly, the turbo can be a bit slow to kick in, so just be aware of that when pulling out into traffic. However, once it does kick in, it's like a rocket car! Secondly, there can be a slight exhaust smell in the cabin for the first 2-5 minutes upon start up. I contacted the service department and they said that other owners have reported the same issue. They suggested pushing the Man button on the circulation option, which has worked for me. Overall, I still absolutely love my car!

This vehicle is an absolute blast to drive, with plenty of sporty features packed into a less utilitarian design. The stylish exterior is sure to turn heads, and the interior is well-crafted with a premium feel. While the Land Rover packaging could use some improvement, overall this is a fun little ride that's sure to impress. It's worth noting that the magne ride is only available in the dynamic model, and the hood scoops are only available in the coupe, but these are minor details in an otherwise excellent vehicle.

We've had our Evoque for a year now and my wife absolutely loves it. It's such a fun car to drive and we haven't had any issues with it. We're already planning on purchasing another one in two years, unless something drastic changes. It's quick, maneuverable, and has plenty of power and zip.

I purchased a car from Patrick Jaguar Naperville on January 2nd. Unfortunately, the car was towed just one week later due to warning lights being on, the car not shifting gears, and power steering not working. It took a week to repair and replace the module. I expressed my concerns to Land Rover and received $500 in Land Rover certificates. Today, I had a scheduled service appointment because neither smart key worked, but when I tried to start the car, it would not start. The car had to be towed again. I called Land Rover prior to the appointment and explained that I had received a one-time certificate before and that the car was still under warranty, but they did not offer any help. Unfortunately, this has been the worst service I have experienced from a luxury car. I regret my purchase and will not buy from them again. My husband was considering a Jaguar, but after this experience, he has changed his mind.

I leased my 2013 Evoque brand new in 2013 and then purchased it in 2016. It was good up until about 50K miles, and I had it maintained at the local LR dealership. However, at about 65K miles, the engine output completely went away, with no turbo. I had the car diagnosed at a local shop and they told me the Turbo is seized, which is a common design problem with this model. Unfortunately, the incredibly high price tag kept me from repairing it. I managed to get another 10K miles before purchasing a new Turbo (complete assembly with the exhaust manifold). However, the real issues appeared when I got a look at the underside of the car. It was completely rusted, with heat shields, frame joints, etc. all affected. The car looked like it was 30 years old. The protective shield around the fuel tank was falling off in chunks, which explained the loud noises coming out of the underside of the car because all this metal was bouncing off the drive shaft. As I grabbed the drive shaft to look closely, I realized the front differential pinion was also loose, apparently the bearings in there are shot. Now, I need to replace the front differential and all the underside protections. I reached out to Land Rover/Jaguar repeatedly (via email), but unfortunately, they simply ignored me. I found this pretty lousy and disrespectful of their customers.

Warning to all Evoque owners. Let me start by saying that I'm a car enthusiast and have owned 37 cars already due to my love for them. However, I recently had a poor service experience with Land Rover. The major problem was due to the shifter malfunction, causing the car to engage in gear and run into my parked car. Range Rover found 3 fault codes and replaced the electronic gear shifter. Unfortunately, after calling Range Rover, they are refusing to pay for damages and my demand of replacing the car. I am disappointed that they do not seem to care about the potential danger this car could have caused. This experience has left me with a negative impression of Land Rover and I will not be purchasing from them again.

Fortunately, these repairs were covered by the extended warranty, although there were still significant deductibles to pay. In our experience, we had some issues with the car and had to take it to the shop for repairs 10 times in just 23 months of ownership. The last repair was replacing the fuel pump, which took almost a week to locate the parts. The dealership also advised us to keep driving the car with the check engine light illuminated, which was not ideal. We recommend considering other options before purchasing this car.
