The size of the LRX concept vehicle complemented a wide array of efficiency-improving technologies in the form of Land Rover's e_Terrain technologies. These included biofuel compatibility, lightweight construction materials, and technologies such as the removable carbon composite roof panels, regenerative brakes, a stop-start system, along with the ERAD (electric rear axle drive) parallel hybrid powertrain system.

The ERAD system could propel the LRX to speeds up to 20 mph (32 km/h) before the engine was started by an integrated starter generator as part of the stop-start system. ERAD was designed to reduce CO2 emissions by an average of 20% under the NEDC test cycle and was expected to offer another 10% reduction in extra-urban driving situations while also optimizing the off-road ability of the vehicle. Land Rover aimed to achieve 120 g/km CO2 emissions and fuel economy of 60 mpg‑imp (4.7 L/100 km; 50 mpg‑US) on the European combined cycle with an efficient 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine based on PSA DW12. The engine would become the only four-cylinder vehicle in the Range Rover lineup.

In the affected vehicles the transmission sensor clusters may have insufficient crimps in the transmission wire harness, and as a result, the transmission may unexpectedly shift to neutral.
- Consequence: If the vehicle unexpectedly shifts to neutral, there is an increased risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the automatic transmission serial number and if required, will update the transmission software to prevent the transmission from shifting into neutral due to a faulty crimp, free of charge. The recall is expected to began October 14, 2016. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is P091.

Bought the 2 door with 2200 miles. I'm happy to report that I haven't had any issues or complaints. It drives great, feels great, and looks great. I recently brought it in for an oil change and they also did a software upgrade. I'll keep you posted if anything changes!

In February 2015, I leased a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (Pure plus with options). Although it had some software issues during the first month, the dealership was very accommodating and resolved the issue promptly. After that, I never had any issues with the Evoque. While I found that a bigger engine would have been better, it still handled the road very well and provided a smooth ride. Additionally, it had great gas mileage, especially on long drives. The entertainment system was also fantastic! However, the most important thing I want to share is that two weeks ago, the truck was involved in a rollover accident and was considered a total loss. Despite the severity of the accident, both myself and the driver only sustained minor injuries (cuts and scratches). This experience has only reinforced my belief that this is a very safe vehicle. The safety features in the truck truly work and should not be taken for granted. For this reason, I am planning to get another one.

This is an excellent SUV, but it's important to know what you're buying. It's not a large car and, like all Land Rover vehicles I've had before, it has quirks. However, the interior finish and quality are very refined, with a nice use of leather and other materials. The exterior styling is better than any other SUV on the road. The tires have Porsche-like grip and the braking is excellent, with better gas mileage than any Range Rover before. The car feels like it's supercharged! However, there are a few negatives to consider. The new flashy plastic panels used on the exterior are prone to scratching very easily and should be tougher. Even the car wash scratches them without the use of brushes. The leather doesn't look like it will hold up like previous Range Rovers, and the car needs a bigger cargo area. Options can add up quickly, so it's important to keep an eye on the price. The SUV should come in under 49k with options in the next generation, as without doing so really makes the value proposition hard to support. Note that the car should be broken in so that it is reliable. You can't drive too aggressively for the first 1500 miles, as the brakes and engine won't be smooth.

From my experience and from what I've read in reviews, I would highly recommend purchasing this car used from a private party or as a certified pre-owned from a dealership. The Range Rover Evoque is a stunning car that gets a lot of attention, and for good reason - it looks just as amazing on the inside as it does on the outside. In addition to its stylish design, the car has predictably good road manners in all conditions, including snow. Overall, the Range Rover Evoque is a comfortable, reliable, and well-appointed road machine that offers a fun driving experience. I have personally had no issues with mine to date, so I give it two thumbs up!

The Evoque is a really enjoyable car to drive. It has a great look both inside and out. The ride is comfortable for the most part, although it struggles with larger bumps. It's a fantastic handling SUV. In mixed driving, I get around 21 miles per gallon, although the on-board computer claims it's 23. The transmission has 9 speeds, and while it can take a moment to find the right gear in comfort mode, it's much more responsive in sport mode. The paddle shifters work really well. While I wouldn't recommend it as a family SUV due to its size, it's perfect for just one person or a couple. The panoramic sunroof is a fantastic feature, especially at night or when the weather is cooler. The stereo and navigation controls could use some improvement as they can be slow to react to touch. However, the climate system is excellent. Overall, after a month and a thousand miles, I'm really happy with the Evoque. While it could use some updates in the electronics department and better gas mileage, I just love driving it!

I purchased the Evoque in a hurry as we were relocating to the mountains and I required a four-wheel drive. I regret not doing any research beforehand! Hopefully, my reviews will help someone else. We were fortunate enough to purchase the Evoque used with 20,000 miles and a 50,000-mile warranty. To cut a long story short, at 36,000 miles, we had to replace the front and rear brakes, a new battery, and then, just one week after bringing it home, we experienced the same gear box fault that another reviewer had mentioned. We had to have it towed! Fortunately, we were not in traffic like the other reviewer. Unfortunately, they informed us that they cannot get the part for a month, and we still do not have it back. I am truly shocked by the whole experience. I always thought Land Rover was a reputable brand, as I see them everywhere. If I ever get it back, I will be getting rid of it right away, of course, and at a significant loss!

Hey there! I'm excited to share my thoughts on our new 2015 Range Rover compared to our 2013 GLK 350. Both cars cost us about the same, but we wanted to try something new this time around. Let's start with the outside - we absolutely love the clean and stylish lines of the Range Rover, although we were a bit disappointed that it didn't come with roof racks. We had to purchase them separately for about $1400. In comparison, the GLK looks more like a family car. When it comes to the cargo door, it opens with the remote, but you have to push the button on the tailgate to close it. With the GLK, you can just use the remote to open or close it. Moving on to the interior, the cargo bay is a bit smaller than the GLK, but the driver's seat is still comfortable. However, the finish work inside is not as good as the GLK - the latter wins hands down. The steering wheel feels a bit off, but we're not sure why just yet. The sound system is not the best, so don't plan on rocking out while driving. The take off is good for a 4 banger, but the transmission shifts hard in and out of gear at times. The interior noise level is also louder than the GLK. The GLK has a nice wood finish while the Range Rover's is plastic. The backup camera could use some improvement - it's not the best. When it comes to the ride, the Range Rover is lacking compared to the GLK. If you hit a good size dip in the road, plan on losing your back molars - it feels more like a tank than a luxury rover. However, I'll update this after I take it off road. The Range Rover feels light and you feel more of the road, while the GLK is a much smoother ride. As for the navigation, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The GLK's navigation has no clue what I'm saying, and there have been more than one occasion where I wanted to tear it out of the car out of frustration. The Range Rover's map is tough to follow because it shows you going north, south, east or west, and you can get spun around looking at the map. Lastly, the controls on the steering wheel are not the best on the Range Rover. Hope this helps!Be careful not to push too hard on the volume or you may accidentally change the radio station, which can be frustrating since there is no mute button. Additionally, the back window can be tough to see out of and the lane assist is not very strong. However, the GLK's lane assist has saved my bacon more than once, unlike the rover which just blinks. While parking, the rover has sensors that let you know if you are too close in the front or rear, but the GLK does not have this feature. My wife actually backed into another car because of this. The Bluetooth for your phone can be a bit frustrating with the rover, as it takes a long time to get through the commands to make one call. On the other hand, with the GLK, you can just say a name and it makes the call. Despite these issues, we decided to try the new rover since I lease a new car every 30 months. However, after driving both side by side for two weeks, I will most likely go back to another GLK after this lease is up. It's a good thing this is my wife's car! After 11 months, I can say that the rover is very capable off-road, but the GPS still leaves something to be desired. It has taken me the long way or in the wrong direction completely on numerous occasions.Rover services informed me that they are unable to fix the issue. The rattles, which come and go, are driving me crazy. Despite taking it to the dealership for them to locate and fix the issue, it does not occur for them. Additionally, it consumes gas at an alarming rate. Although the body looks cool, I will be leasing another Mercedes-Benz once our lease is up. I believe that if they make some improvements, this SUV could be great. Sorry Rover, but you guys need to work on your finished product a little better. For the same price, I can get a better product. I hope this review helps others.

Firstly, I must say that this car looks great and it's a rare sight on the road, which makes me feel special while driving it. Additionally, it handles snow and ice quite well, which is a big plus. However, there are some downsides to it. It's a bit small and the trunk can't be closed from inside the car. The navigation system is not up to the mark and has led me to dead ends on multiple occasions. The front seats lack lumbar support and the rear window is too small. The transmission can be jerky at times. The front console is also a bit small and there are too many controls on the steering wheel that can be distracting while driving. On the downside, the car requires new front and rear brakes and tires after only 25k miles, which is quite disappointing. The cost of routine maintenance is also quite high and the excessive number of software updates required is unheard of and takes a lot of time. If you don't want to spend a lot of time and money at the service center, it might be better to consider other options.

I purchased the vehicle in December 2014 and unfortunately experienced multiple issues. Despite having to visit the repair shop 8 times, including a full engine replacement, my request for a replacement was denied. As a result, I took legal action and after a 3-year process, I successfully won my case. During the proceedings, it was revealed that the replaced parts, including the engine, were previously used.
