Latest negative Chrysler Concorde car reviews

  1. Miguel Ruecker 2025-02-02

    Vehicle year: 1994

I can understand the frustration of other drivers who have experienced similar issues with their Chrysler vehicles. It seems like there have been recurring problems with the A/C, water pump, and transmission. Perhaps Chrysler could learn a thing or two from Japanese car manufacturers when it comes to reliability. It's disappointing to see a company struggle due to issues with their products. While it may be difficult to build a completely flawless car, it's important for manufacturers to strive for the highest level of quality possible.

  2. Deangelo Bashirian 2025-02-02

    Vehicle year: 2001

My 2000 Concorde was a great car, but unfortunately the 2.7 engine had some issues. Despite taking excellent care of the car with regular oil changes every 3000 miles and transmission changes every 40,000, the engine still failed. It's disappointing to learn that Chrysler was aware of these problems and chose not to address them. As a loyal customer who has purchased 5 Dodge/Chrysler vehicles in the past, I am disappointed in their lack of concern for their customers and products. I have since moved on and purchased a 2007 Ford, a brand that I trust to prioritize quality and customer satisfaction.

  3. Hayden Harris 2025-01-29

    Vehicle year: 2000

I purchased a 2000 Chrysler Concord LXI about 4 years ago. It looked great and had a lot of luxurious features which convinced me to buy it. It was priced at $3000 and had 118000 miles, which is not bad for a 7-year-old car. However, about two weeks later, I walked out of my house to find transmission fluid covering my driveway. This cost me $1600 to fix, and since then, I have had nothing but troubles and heartache from it. The car overheated all the time, even though I fixed the thermostat, water pump, radiator, and fans in it. When I took it to the Chrysler dealership, they were baffled. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I learned not to go for looks only, but also for performance.

  4. Walker Rath 2025-01-21

    Vehicle year: 1995

Congratulations on selling your car! It sounds like it was a great ride with plenty of interior and trunk space, despite not being too large. While there were a few minor issues with the transmission and A/C, it's great to hear that they were covered under warranty. It's also good to know that the leather seats may have worn a little prematurely. It's impressive that you were able to trade it in for a decent price, even without a warranty. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with this car!

  5. Maurice Kling 2025-01-18

    Vehicle year: 1997

Chrysler has failed to meet my expectations as a reliable car brand. Despite replacing the front rack and tie rods, the car still has issues with steering and an unreliable gas gauge. Additionally, the car's fuel efficiency is poor and the air conditioning system is not functioning properly. After experiencing two blown head gaskets in a relatively short period of time, I have decided to purchase a new car from a different brand that I am confident will meet my needs.

Latest positive Chrysler Concorde car reviews

  1. Merlin Deckow 2025-02-17

    Vehicle year: 1997

You've owned dozens of cars, including BMW, Cadillac, Honda, Toyota, Valiant, and New Yorker, among others. However, this car with 160K miles has been the best riding, best performing, and most comfortable of them all. It still gets an impressive 25-26 mpg on the interstate and more than 20 around town. Although it requires maintenance, it has provided you with excellent service. Your wife protests when you mention getting a new car, so it seems like you'll be driving it until it stops.

  2. Camron Mitchell 2025-02-13

    Vehicle year: 2002

Well, it's great to hear that you've had this car for almost 8 years and it's still one of the best cars you've ever owned! It's impressive that you've driven it for under 60000 miles and haven't had any major repairs. Although, it's a shame to hear that the black trim on the hood close to the windshield has faded and required frequent buffing, and that there are a few cracks on the driver's seat. However, it's great to know that replacing the climate control was easy and cheap with a $30 ebay part!

  3. Gage Hauck 2025-02-09

    Vehicle year: 1996

This is a fantastic vehicle for the price and has held up really well. It's very reliable with regular oil changes and servicing, nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, I think it's the most spacious mid-size car in its class, comfortably seating 5 adults with plenty of room (much more than comparable Maxima, Camry, or Accord). I would highly recommend it to any car owner looking for comfort, space, reliability, and affordability.

  4. Freddy Hudson 2025-02-05

    Vehicle year: 2004

I love my car, it's the nicest one I've ever owned. Unfortunately, dusty roads have been a bit of a problem for me. I've already had the seals replaced, but it didn't work. Until this issue is resolved, I'm getting dusted out. I've also had a problem with my cigarette lighter falling out of the dash, wires and all. I had it fixed, but it happened again. I'm planning on going back to the dealership. Additionally, there is a burning smell, similar to lighting a match, that appears just after high acceleration, like passing. I had the dealer look at it, but it wasn't noticed. It's still happening, so I'll have it looked at again. Has anyone else experienced similar concerns?

  5. Harry Sauer 2025-02-05

    Vehicle year: 2003

I bought a car with 44,000 miles on it and it's been great! I absolutely love the power that comes with the 2.7 Lx package, and there's plenty of room inside. The MPG is also fantastic! The only issue I've had is that it struggles a bit on hills due to the 4-speed automatic transmission. You have to give it some gas to get it to shift down, but once it does, it runs smoothly. Overall, I'm really happy with the car! The only other thing to note is that it can be a bit tricky to drive in the snow, but that's not a big deal.
