I got it check and the service center couldn’t find the issue as the car was good on all its fluids and there weren’t any leaks anywhere. Then some days passed and my vehicle started to slow down drastically on a highway (speed limit of 65) and my car would struggle to accelerate and so I was forced to switch from the middle lanes on the left to the lane all the way in the right, it was very difficult to do so as cars were passing me at high speeds. My car was struggling to accelerate and the engine started running rough. The engine light then came on. So I got it checked ant a local service center and I was told my turbocharger had to be replaced as it malfunctioned somehow. I can’t drive my car as it would be traveling way below the speed limit. I did not bring it to my dealer yet.

- Summary: My touchscreen has been malfunctioning and turning black or has a white haze across the screen. When the screen does this i am not able to use my backup camera as it does not work when this happens. To me it is a safety issue not having the backup camera as i am usually backing out of a place with blind spots and the camera lets me see what is behind my car and a good distance on the side of my car. The infotainment screen has done this to me twice now, once at the end of June 2023 and just on July 8, 2023. I have had issues with the infotainment center before but heard nothing back about it. I took my car to the dealership and showed them the pictures of what is going on with my screen and they said it may need a new touchscreen, my car is only 4yrs old!! I have had issues with this since the 2nd year i owned it and honestly I think it's a Chevy manufacturing problem.

- Summary: The issues with the car happen when attempting to go over 40mph. After maybe 10-15min of driving, if attempting to go over 40mph, the car starts making a clinking sound, a lot of exhaust smoke comes out the back and there is a general inability to accelerate without the engine sputtering which even happened at lower speeds once it has already started to happen. The check engine light come on when this occurs. Our safety does seem to be at risk as we cannot seem to keep up with traffic speeds and would likely cause an accident if we remain on the road while the car is exhibiting these conditions. After I told the dealership about how long in driving it takes to recreate the problem, the dealership that currently holds the car(Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview, IL) were able to reproduce the problem. My parents and I went on Feb 16th, 2023 to Napleton Hyundai in Glenview and bought the car used and after 2 days of driving, my parents were having issues with the car and being able to accelerate. At the time it was diagnosed as a catalytic converter and flex pipe problem. Those items were backordered and were not able to be replaced until 2 months after our original complaint. During those 2 months of waiting, my parents were instructed not to take the highway and not to exceed 40mph. Upon getting the car back on April 26th, it took merely 4-5 more days for the problems to come back again. We also found that on Dec 17th, 2022, the previous owner took the car in with the same problems and after getting an estimate, declined service and took the car back Dec 28th, 2022. The vehicle has been looked at by Napleton Hyundai in Glenview, Jennings Chevy in Glenview and prior to our ownership, Anderson Chevy in Chicago. Anytime the vehicle exhibits the above mentioned problems, the check engine light does come on and usually in addition to the issues listed above, the car seems to be low/out of oil. At this time, we are told the cars issue is the turbo.

- Summary: Upon acceleration above 40 mph, the car starts studdering with little power on acceleration. Releasing and pressing the accelerator until it starts picking up speed. This behavior worsened as the day went on. I had to put my emergency flashers on, while entering the highway ramp. Then it will pick up speed, just not rapidly as normal behavior on the accelerator. The stabletrax light came on, the engine light, tread lights. Then it drives normal until the next time.

- Consequence: A partial separation of the lower-control arm from the vehicle could cause the attached front wheel to toe outward, impacting the vehicle's handling and steering and increasing the risk of crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the left and right front lower-control arms, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began June 14, 2019. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is A182202370.

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019 Buick Encore, Chevrolet Spark, Traverse, and Trax vehicles. The Sensing Diagnostic Module (SDM) on these vehicle may not have been turned off of "manufacturing mode," preventing the air bags from deploying in the event of a crash.
- Consequence: If the air bags do not deploy in the event of a crash, it can increase the risk of injury.

The Beetle was definitely faster with 170 HP than my 2019 Trax, and more responsive too. However, I don't miss those things at all. The Trax has a better driving position, much better equipment, super soft suspension, and the only thing I miss about my Beetle was the CD player. But now I'm getting used to Spotify, and the entertainment in the LT Trax is awesome. The phone works perfectly with the wheel controls, and there's more space in the trunk. Plus, I'm happy to be driving a Chevy instead of a Honda or Toyota - that's definitely a plus! I did try the Volkswagen Tiguan, which was about the same price at $24,000, but I didn't get the credit due to lots and lots of paperwork. In Chevy, I got the credit the same day with no problems. At the end of the day, the car isn't as fast, but it's a little cheaper at $19,000 and better equipped. The entertainment in Volkswagen is pretty bad, so I'm happy to have saved some money and be driving a Chevy. My brand is now Chevy - no more Volkswagen EVER!!

Compact design, I have the AWD Premier which is great for Chicago winters. I have all the bells and whistles which I appreciate. Heated seats are great. I like the Apple car play set up, leather seats. Buying out my lease this week. One issue was a draft from the driver's side door and a steering wheel that pulls to the right.

It runs and drives like a car with a small engine, but it easily gets up to highway speed. I've had mine for three months and had a coil pack go bad, but it was covered under warranty. I don't like the tiny armrest. I'm getting 29-31 miles to the gallon.

I've have the 2019 Chevy Trax. I had it for 4 years now and I love it as much today as I did on day one. It's not too big and it's not too small. It fits 4 comfortable 5 if 3 are on the smaller side. Head room is fine for me I'm 5'7". I require a minimum of a 41" leg room for driving and I fit quite comfortably. I can't speak on rear seating as I don't use them that said I have never received any complaints. The gas mileage is good. The on board entertainment and convenience options are wonderful period period there were a few hiccups in the beginning, however the dealership fix those. I enjoy the safety and stability I've had so far simply by keeping up with routine maintenance.

My husband and his sister both own this particular model and for whatever reason it's quite 'whippy' as we call it. While driving, it's not noticeable, but while in any of the passenger seats, it can be a bit of a nightmare. I've never experienced car sickness before until I sat in the back of one of their cars, and even in the front seat, I find myself clenching the dashboard. It's not like anything I've experienced in another vehicle before.

I recently had the opportunity to drive a 2019 Chevy track loaner from the dealer. While I found the steering to be a bit stiff at first, I was eventually able to adjust it to my liking. However, I did experience an issue where the car shut off completely while driving when I moved the steering wheel lever up or down. I contacted the dealer and they explained that the motor is designed to shut off at a stop, but I expressed my concern that it also shut off the lights and air conditioning while driving. Although I believe this may be a recall issue, I understand that Chevy has not yet acknowledged it. Additionally, I found the seating to be a bit cramped for my size, but I'm sure it would be comfortable for someone smaller. Overall, I would not personally choose to purchase this car, but I understand that everyone has different preferences and priorities when it comes to their vehicles.

This car may have a bumpy and jerky ride thanks to a transmission that doesn't know what gear to select. However, there are some areas that could be improved. The ergonomics could use some work as the seat is not very supportive or well-bolstered. As a 5'9

I purchased an all-wheel-drive LT Redline for $30,000. Unfortunately, I have experienced some issues with the car, including a recall and several warranty repairs. Despite these repairs, the car has continued to have problems with the seat, driver side door hinges, electronic throttle body system, rear liftgate strut, liftgate cover, and map light console cover. Additionally, I discovered that the car had damage prior to being sold, which required intervention from General Motors and the dealership owner. While the car's performance has not met my expectations, I appreciate the opportunity to have purchased my first entry-level SUV. However, I have decided to sell the car and will not be purchasing another Chevrolet in the future.

My 2018 Trax with 39,000 miles experienced a malfunctioning AC compressor after 16 months. The dealership offered a repair for $1600, which I declined. In the future, I plan to purchase a Hyundai. It is disappointing that GM did not provide a warranty for a part that failed only 3000 miles out of warranty. Due to these experiences, I have decided to avoid GM products. I hope to find a more reliable option in the future.
