Alfa romeo Giulia 2019 problems
Alfa Romeo Giulia (Italian pronunciation: ) is the name of three not directly related models by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. The first is a line of sporty four-door compact executive cars (Type 105) produced from 1962 to 1978, the second is an updated, mainly up-engined Spider, Sprint and Sprint Speciale Giuliettas, and the third Giulia is a compact executive car (type 952) unveiled in 2015.
Alfa Romeo was one of the first mainstream manufacturers to put a powerful engine in a light-weight 1 tonne (2,205 lb) four-door car for mass production. The Type 105 Giulia was equipped with a light alloy twin overhead camshaft four-cylinder engine similar to that of the earlier Giulietta (750/101) range, available in 1.3-litre (1,290 cc) and 1.6-litre (1,570 cc) versions. Various configurations of carburetors and tuning produced power outputs from about 80 to about 110 bhp (55 to 75 kW), coupled in most cases to 5-speed manual transmission.
Giulia sedans were noted for lively handling and impressive acceleration among small European four-door sedans of their era, especially considering modest engine sizes offered. The popular Super version with the twin carburettor 1.6 litre engine had a top speed of 170 km/h (106 mph) and accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 12 seconds, better than many sports cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s. When leaving the factory all variations of the Giulia originally fitted either Pirelli Cinturato 165HR14 or 155HR15 tyres (CA67).
The styling of the boxy four-door notchback saloon was somewhat wanting. The engine bay, cabin and boot were all square shaped, buffered somewhat by details on the grill, roofline, bonnet and boot. Use of a wind tunnel during development led to a very aerodynamic shape that produced a drag coefficient of Cd=0.34, particularly low for a saloon of the era.
The Giulia Spider was succeeded by the Alfa Romeo Spider (105/115) in 1966.

Common Alfa romeo Giulia 2019 problems
Based on complaints from owners of the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2019, several common problems have been reported:
- Engine Misfiring: The 2.0-liter turbocharged models faced engine misfiring problems, which could escalate to catalytic converter overheating, damage to engine wiring, and potential engine fires and exhaust system failures if left unaddressed.
- Brake Faults: Two brake issues were prevalent in the 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The first involved a failure of the anti-lock braking system, leading to reduced braking power and loss of anti-lock braking. The second issue was more severe, with rear brake discs prone to breaking apart, causing a sudden and complete loss of braking power.
- Fuel Leaks: Fuel leaks were reported in 2019 Giulia models due to a crack in the fuel line sensor housing, increasing the risk of fire. Alfa Romeo offered free fixes for affected models to address this safety concern.
- Adaptive Cruise Control System: Owners reported an inability to disable the adaptive cruise control system due to faulty brake module software, causing inconvenience and potential safety issues.
These issues highlight the reliability challenges faced by owners of the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2019, ranging from electrical and engine problems to brake and fuel system concerns. Addressing these issues promptly is crucial to ensure the safety and performance of the vehicle.
What is the common problem with the Alfa Romeo Giulia?
Fuel Leaks and Fire Risk
In the case of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, certain 2020 and 2021 models experienced this problem due to a crack in the fuel line sensor housing. The crack allowed fuel to leak from the fuel lines, significantly increasing the risk of fire.
What is the recall on the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2019?
Recall # 19V551000 Date: 2019-07-24 Recall: Alfa Romeo is recalling certain 2018-2019 Giulia and Stelvio vehicles. The Body Control Module (BCM) may indicate an inaccurate fuel level that displays higher than the actual amount.
How reliable is the Alfa Romeo Giulia?
A worrying 28% of owners reported at least one fault within the first 12 months of ownership, mostly related to the electrics. The fact the Giulia was still rated so highly should mean most of these faults were not too serious. Similarly to the brand itself, the Giulia didn't feature in our lists in 2022.
What is the lifespan of an Alfa Romeo Giulia?
How long do Alfa Romeo Giulias last? On average, a Giulia will last around 200,000 miles, depending on the care put into it. With proper maintenance, the machine will last at least a decade, if not more, under careful ownership. If you put effort into your machine, it will pay you back for years and years to come.

- Summary: Vehicle stalled on the road as soon as I stopped at a red light.
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-07-09
- VIN: ZARFAMANXK7
- Components: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
- Summary: While driving on the highway I got an error alert "Service Electronic Throttle" and my gas pedal stopped working almost immediately. I was fortunate enough to coast to the next exit and pull off in the shoulder. The car would not start. I unplugged the battery and waited 5 minutes. After reconnecting the battery, I was able to drive 4 miles home, and the next day I drove 7 miles to the Alfa dealer. Since I reset the battery in order to start the car, they told me there were no codes visible and they sent me home with the car. I drove for 70 miles until the same issue happened. This time I was on a road with no shoulder but was able to pull off into a parking lot. I tried to reset the battery again to make it home but I was only able to make it about 100 yards down the road and I pulled off into a construction driveway. I reset the battery once last time to make it another 100 yards down the road until I coasted into a parking lot. Each time the gas pedal completely stopped responding and I was left to cruise as far as I could. If the car turns off and won't start again you are not able to put it into neutral and move it to a safe spot. When I brought it to the dealer the second time they gave me an error code of "P008A-00" and replaced the fuel pump. They also told me I should try to always use the same gas station and never drive below a quarter tank of gas. There is a service bulletin for this issue in 2017-2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia's but I have not seen anything yet for 2019. I was very luck in all 4 instances of the gas pedal failing but if it went out while trying to pull across multiple lanes of traffic I could have easily been hit. You can also only make it as far as the car will coast so I could have been stranded in the middle lane on the highway if there was heavier traffic.
POWER TRAIN,ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2024-06-22
- VIN: ZARFAMEV3K7
- Components: POWER TRAIN,ENGINE
- Summary: CAR HAD SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. LATER DIAGNOSED AS FUEL PUMP AND FUEL PUMP MODULE ISSUE.
ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-10-16
- VIN: ZARFANBN7K7
- Components: ENGINE
- Summary: I had a "Service Electronic Throttle Control" light come on and my car went into limp mode. I called the dealer and they said to drive my car to the dealer to get it checked out. I confirmed with the dealer's service manager that it was safe to drive on the freeway in the limp mode. On my way there, my engine completely died - it went down to 25 mph on the freeway before it recovered a bit so that I could get off the freeway. Shortly after I got off the freeway, it died completely. The dealership told me its a known issued that these 2018/2019 Alfa Romeo's will suffer from oil pump failure, leading to sudden engine failure. Based on conversations I've seen on Facebook Alfa Romeo pages, many people have had these same issues with sudden engine failures on low mileage engines caused by oil pump failures. I thank God my car didn't completely die in the middle of the freeway - I could have easily been killed.
AIR BAGS,SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2023-01-26

- VIN: ZARFAMBN5K7
- Components: AIR BAGS,SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: The brakes failed on the car causing my vehicle to crash into my home. The airbags did not deploy. The vehicle is available for inspection and is currently at the dealership. Alfa Romeo has sent out a special investigations team to inspect the vehicle and has escalated the issue to their legal department. Due to the failure of the brakes, I could have killed myself or others. There were zero warning lights prior to the failure. The vehicle is located at Northside Imports in Spring, Texas.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2021-09-14
- VIN: zarfambn3k7
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary: Due to a faulty starter relay, my Alfa Romeo Giulia would intermittently not start or restart. The dashboard illuminated properly but the starter did not engage and the engine did not attempt to crank. Afterwards, a warning lamp would sometimes appear saying "auto start/stop unavailable". This became a safety hazard when the auto start/stop feature shut the engine down at a stop light and the car would not restart when the light turned green. In my case, the light turned green and other cars were approaching the intersection and I could not move out of the way. The problem occurred multiple times on initial startup and while driving in a 3 week period before it the faulty relay was replaced under warranty by my local dealer. The car's ECU recorded P26E4-OO for start stop relay and the dealer had seen the issue before. The part has been upgraded and should proactively be recalled.
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-12-01
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
- Summary: The contact owns a 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated while operating the vehicle, the braking system malfunctioned while depressing the brake pedal and the vehicle would not immediately stop, causing an extended braking distance. On occasion, while depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop. The parking brakes were activated to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and the brake pads and rotors were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The approximate failure mileage was 9,000. The Vin was not available

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-12-28
- VIN: ZARFANBN4K7
- Components: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
- Summary: WENT TO START COLD CAR IN MORNING, THE ENGINE WOULD NOT CATCH. TRIED FOR A SECOND TIME AND AGAIN, STARTER TURNED OVER FOR 10-15 SECS THEN STOPPED. THINKING IT MAY BE THE BATTERY I EXITED THE CAR TO GET THE JUMP STARTER - AND COULD SMELL GASOLINE. I COULD SEE A GROWING PUDDLE OF GASOLINE ON THE DRIVEWAY UNDER THE FRONT WHEELS AND WHEN I LIFTED THE HOOD THE ENTIRE TOP OF THE ENGINE WAS WET WITH GASOLINE. ALFA DEALERSHIP HAVE DETERMINED IT IS THE EXACT SAME FUEL LINE THAT SPLIT ON THIS SAME VEHICLE IN AUG 2020. SEE NHTSA CASE# 11353843 FOR THE AUGUST INCIDENT. ALFA DEALERSHIP TECH ALSO NOTED THIS IS NOT THE ONLY SPLIT FUEL LINE HE HAS REPLACED WITH EXACT SAME PART NUMBER: 68364747AA. ONCE AGAIN I AM INCREDIBLY LUCKY AND GRATEFUL THAT THIS FUEL LINE SPLIT, LIKE THE FIRST, DID NOT HAPPEN OVER A HOT ENGINE.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-10-03
- VIN: ZARFAMBN2K7
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
- Summary: MY CAR SINCE I HAVE HAD IT HAS HAD 1 RECALL, SOME TYPE OF ELECTRICAL PROBLEM, AND 3 TIMES IT HAD TO GO TO THE SHOP BECAUSE OF FUEL SYSTEM FAILURE. I WAS TOLD IT WAS A LOT OF WATER IN THE SYSTEM, BUT I USED THE SAME GAS STATION THAT THEY USE TO PUT GAS IN THE CAR AFTER IT WAS DRAINED AND REFILLED. EVERY TIME I HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY CAR I WAS ALWAYS IN MOTION. ONCE THIS CAR STOPS YOU ARE STUCK WHEREVER YOU ARE AT BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT PUT THIS CAR IN NEUTRAL TO PUSH IT OUT OF THE ROAD. I HAVE FELT LIKE MY LIFE WAS IN JEOPARDY EACH TIME THIS CAR HAS STOPPED ON ME. I HAVE NO PHOTOS BECAUSE MY CAR IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP RIGHT NOW. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE 10/03/2020
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-08-18
- VIN: ZARFANBN4K7
- Components: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
- Summary: (VEHICLE IS 2019 WITH 7404 MILES RECORDED ON DATE OF INCIDENT). MORNING OF 18TH AUG 2020. THE CAR SAT OVERNIGHT SO WAS 'COLD' WHEN I STARTED IT. I IMMEDIATELY SELECTED REVERSE AND BEGAN BACKING UP (EXACT SPEED UNKNOWN, BUT 'SLOW'). APPROX 10 SECS AFTER STARTING THE ENGINE THE VERY STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE ENTERED THE COCKPIT - I IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF THE ENGINE. EXITING THE VEHICLE I COULD SEE A TRAIL OF FLUID 10 FT LONG ON THE CONCRETE DRIVEWAY AND THE SCENT IDENTIFIED IT AS GASOLINE. I LIFTED THE HOOD & GASOLINE WAS ALL OVER THE TOP OF THE ENGINE AND DRIPPING DOWN OFF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. LOOKING CLOSER I COULD SEE POOLS OF GAS HAD COLLECTED ANYWHERE THERE WAS A DEPRESSION IN WHICH LIQUID COULD COLLECT ON & AROUND THE ENGINE. SEVERAL LITERS OF GASOLINE HAD BEEN EJECTED OVER THE ENGINE. CAR WAS TOWED TO THE NEAREST ALFA SERVICE DEALERSHIP (GOLLING, BLOOMFIELD HILLS). THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED A BROKEN/SPLIT FUEL HOSE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE UNDER WARRANTY. THEY VERBALLY TOLD ME THE PART WAS SENT TO ALFA CORPORATE AND I SHOULD CONTACT THEM TO FOLLOW THE INVESTIGATION. I CONTACTED ALFA CORPORATE AND THROUGH EMAIL EXCHANGES, DISCOVERED THAT ALFA CORPORATE WILL NOT BE INVESTIGATING THIS SAFETY ISSUE AT ALL. I ATTACH ALL THE EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE BELOW. MY VERY SERIOUS CONCERN IS THAT THE DEALERSHIP VERBALLY SAID THEY HAD NO IDEA HOW THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED - "MAYBE A WEAK SPOT" - BUT ALFA CORPORATE WOULD INVESTIGATE. AT THAT POINT I WAS SATISFIED. THEN SEVERAL DAYS LATER ALFA CORPORATE INFORMED ME THAT THE DEALERSHIP GUESS OF "MAYBE A WEAK SPOT" WOULD BE THE OFFICIAL CONCLUSION AND END OF THE INVESTIGATION. I MENTION IT SEVERAL TIMES IN MY (ATTACHED) EMAILS BUT IT IS OBVIOUS THAT I AVOIDED BEING IN A MOVING FIREBALL BY ONLY MINUTES AND MAYBE LUCK. AN INVESTIGATION BY AN ENGINEER IS THE MINIMUM I WOULD EXPECT FROM ALFA CORPORATE.*DT*DT*JB*DT*JB*AS
SUSPENSION PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-07-11
- VIN: ZARFANAN7K7
- Components: SUSPENSION
- Summary: TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER HUSBAND WAS DRIVING AT 50 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT. THE TPMS WARNING LIGHT THEN BECAME ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT TIRE WAS REPLACED. AFTER PICKING UP THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND HAD DRIVEN LESS THAN 50 MILES BEFORE A BLOWOUT TO THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR TIRE. THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND BECAME AWARE THAT THE TIRES SHOWED EXTREME WEAR TO THE SIDEWALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ALFA ROMEO OF WILMINGTON PIKE (99 WILMINGTON PIKE A, CHADDS FORD, PA 19317) WHERE THE DEALER ACKNOWLEDGED AN ALIGNMENT ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE OWNER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TIRE FAILURES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. - Summary: THE SUNROOF OF MY 2019 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA EXPLODED WHILE WE WERE DRIVING ON I95 IN CONNECTICUT. THERE WERE NO OVERHEAD TREES, OVERPASSES OR CAR AHEAD THAT COULD HAVE KICKED UP ROAD DEBRIS. THE TEMPERATURE WAS AROUND 90 AND HUMID WITH NO CHASE OF RAIN OR HAIL. THE SUNROOF MADE A LOUD BANG AND SHOWERED EVERYONE IN THE CAR WITH GLASS, IT ALSO SHOWERED AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CAR FOLLOWING ME. THE EXACT CONDITIONS WERE DRIVING SOUTHBOUND ON I95 AT 65MPH
EXTERIOR LIGHTING,VISIBILITY/WIPER PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2020-03-02
- VIN: ZARFANAN3K7
- Components: EXTERIOR LIGHTING,VISIBILITY/WIPER
- Summary: EXTERIOR LAMPS (HEADLAMPS/TAIL LAMPS) DO NOT TURN ON WHEN WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE ON. AS BOTH THE EXTERIOR LAMPS AND WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE USUALLY SET TO AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON AND OFF AS APPROPRIATE (USING DUSK AND RAIN SENSORS), IT'S QUITE PROBABLE THE DRIVER WILL FORGET TO TURN ON THE EXTERIOR LAMPS WHEN THE WIPERS TURN ON, FOR INSTANCE. FURTHERMORE, MOST ALL CARS I HAVE DRIVEN WITH BOTH RAIN SENSORS AND AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHTS, ACROSS NUMEROUS DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN BRANDS, DO HAVE FUNCTIONALITY WHICH TURNS ON THE EXTERIOR LAMPS (HEADLAMPS/TAIL LAMPS) WHEN WIPERS ARE ACTIVATED, FURTHER COMPLICATING THE ISSUE WITH ALFA ROMEO - IT IS THE DRIVERS EXPECTATION FOR EXTERIOR LAMPS TO TOGGLE ON AND OFF AUTOMATICALLY IN ALL SITUATIONS, BASED ON PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND ALSO THE EXPECTATION THAT AUTOMATIC LIGHTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON AND OFF WHEN NECESSARY.
UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2019-07-19
- VIN: ZARFANBN2K7
- Components: UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE
- Summary: TAKATA RECALL. ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING WHILE DRIVING AND IT PROMPTED ME TO GET THE ENGINE SERVICED. I COULDN'T EVEN SHIFT THE GEAR AFTER THE VEHICLE STOPPED. WORTH MENTIONING, BEFORE THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY BROKE DOWN, I CAN'T ENTER THE APPLE CARPLAY SCREEN EVEN THOUGH THE OPTION WAS SHOWN. BESIDES THIS, THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEMS REBOOTS ITSELF EVERY NOW AND THEN.

As a self-proclaimed sports sedan junkie, I've owned quite a few cars in this segment over the past 15 years, including the BMW 3 series and M3, Audi A4 and S4, and C class. However, my Giulia Ti has proven to be the most reliable and best performing car I've ever owned. The only issue I encountered was a slightly slow infotainment system upon purchase, but the dealer promptly updated the firmware and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Unlike my previous cars, which all had mechanical or electrical issues within the first two years, my Giulia Ti has been a dream. Although I initially leased it as a precaution, I'm now seriously considering purchasing the Quadrifoglio when my lease expires. Alfa Romeo has truly won me over.
-
I love everything about it! However, I do agree that the back seat is quite small for its class.
-
I purchased my 2018 Lusso used with about 8000 miles on it, 17,500 in total. It is by far the best car I have ever owned, surpassing even my previous Mercedes, Jaguar, and the rare Sterling 827 SLI manual. The car's looks, handling, power, transmission, and interior are unparalleled. The interior design, which integrates the screen into the flowing dashboard, is the best I have seen. However, the car is not without its issues, mainly requiring periodic software updates. I do wish that all car manufacturers would follow Tesla's lead and provide over-the-air software updates. Additionally, I am not a fan of the run-flat tires and lack of a spare, which seems to be a modern trend. As soon as they wear out, I plan to replace them with regular tires and a flat kit. Having driven several Alfa models, I can confidently say that the TI Lusso model with the optional dynamic packages is the sweet spot. It boasts a wonderful interior with the right color combination, better leather for the seats, leather dash and top of door panels, and 18” tires. The 19” tires on the sport model are prone to flats and provide a harsh ride. The trunk is also quite narrow and not very accommodating. However, I am fortunate to have a fantastic dealership in White Plains, New York. Despite its minor flaws, the power, responsiveness, handling, and stunning exterior and interior make for an incredibly enjoyable ride.
-
I've driven it for around 15k and it's been a great fun to drive. Although the interior is not quite as nice as it could be, if you like driving, it's an easy tradeoff to accept. I have had absolutely zero issues so far and no regrets. An update at 25k - it's still an absolute joy to drive and I have had no issues at all. Another update at the end of my lease - after 3 years and 30k, I'm sad to let it go!
-
I absolutely love cars, especially those with German engineering. However, I recently tried out a Range Rover and a Lexus IS350, and I have to say, they were both delightful in their own ways. But in the end, I went back to what I truly love. In 2018, the Giulia caught my eye and I thought to myself, 'now isn't this one sexy beast?' I took the Sport Ti AWD for a test drive and immediately fell in love. I couldn't get over how well the car handled or how quickly it could go from 0 to 60. For the first time, I felt invincible on the road (I know, it sounds ridiculous, but it's true). I remember getting out of the car and thinking, 'how is this possible?' This new Italian car just rocked my world. I knew right then and there that this car would be mine. I've had the car for 21 months now, and every single time I turn the engine on, my heart skips a beat. I get excited every time I see her. She handles like no other car I've ever driven, and the seats are hands down the most comfortable. Plus, she is absolutely stunning and turns heads everywhere she goes. I refer to my Giulia as the 'poor man's Maserati' because the car is just that good. The only complaint I have is with the infotainment system, which shuts down without warning and causes me to lose my Car Apple Play. But as much as I dislike this flaw, it doesn't change my love for the car. My lease is up in 2 months, and I will definitely be upgrading to another Giulia Sport Ti AWD. I seriously cannot express how much I love this car. If you have a passion for cars, I highly recommend taking the Giulia for a test drive. I promise you, it will absolutely wow you.

Consider leasing instead of buying. Despite its attractive appearance and performance, this particular car model has had several issues, including multiple battery replacements, a new ECM, wiring harness, and water leaks. While newer models have addressed some of these concerns, it's important to thoroughly research before making a decision. Our team recommends exploring all options before committing to a purchase.

Coming from a person who owned 7 M-B in 15 years maybe I’m expecting too much from an auto manufacturer who services there vehicles at Dodge/Chrysler/Ram dealers, with that said I test drove the Giulia and love the handling and the way it drove and I still like the way it drives when I have the car since I owned it for 10 month and it has spend around a month broken for different things, now the car has a loud noise in the front suspension over some big bumps and while making hard left turns and 2 different dealerships can’t fix it, and to get a loaner it has to be first pre approved by FCA then Im stuck driving either Ford Escape or Dodge Caravan, I have a 50k+ Sport Sedan and get a Caravan every time it breaks and every time I get the car back still broken and first time with a dirty interior and my headliner with grease stains, then they scratched the front bumper and to make it worst they don’t fix it, so I HATE THIS ******* car. FCA you suck.

This sports sedan has a classic style and impressive performance that is unmatched for its price. However, the quality of the car has been problematic from day one and continues to be an issue. Despite these challenges, I still believe that this is a great car for drivers who value performance and style.

Many people admire the car's looks, but what I really appreciate is its performance, handling, acceleration, braking, and style. However, there are some technical flaws and obsolete features that I have noticed. For example, the memory doesn't control mirrors, the auto-brights don't work, and the camera has low resolution, poor contrast, and the image is too small. The worst issue I have experienced is the lack of integrity of the body. The front bumper disengaged, and despite my attempts to get it fixed under warranty, Alfa Customer Service insisted that scratches on the bottom voided any warranty. I later discovered that my friend had the same problem. If you are experiencing the same issue, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Unfortunately, Customer Service treated me poorly, and I may have to consider filing a class action suit. I had to pay to have the bumper re-done and affixed properly and adequately. Before you buy or lease this vehicle, please think long and hard, and don't rely on Customer Service, which is a sham. At least now, I have the front bumper properly and securely affixed, no thanks to Alfa, which pretends the defect doesn't exist.

If you're looking for a sports sedan that drives like a dream, this is the car for you. However, if you're looking for a car that you can drive daily without worrying about breakdowns, this may not be the best choice. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Unmatched handling. Cons: The electrical controls may not work consistently, and the vehicle is missing some sensors. There is also an intermittent smell of burning oil and/or rubber. Although there is a warranty, it may not be helpful when dealing with these issues. The dealer network may not be up to par, and Alfa Romeo may not be able to provide adequate support. While this is a great car, it may not be the best option for everyone. The driving dynamics are impressive, but not necessarily better than other luxury brands like BMW, Audi, or Jaguar.
