2015 Volkswagen Cc problems
The Volkswagen CC, initially sold as the Volkswagen Passat CC, is a car built by German marque Volkswagen from 2008 to 2016. It is a variant of the Volkswagen Passat that trades headroom and cargo space for a coupé-like profile and sweeping roofline. The CC debuted in January 2008, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and was discontinued after the 2017 model year.
Volkswagen said the name CC stands for Comfort Coupe, recognizing its combination of a coupe-like profile with four rather than two doors. While based on the Passat, and sharing its wheelbase, the CC is 27 mm (1.06 inches) longer, 50 mm (1.97 inches) lower, and 36 mm (1.42 inches) wider than the Passat.
While the CC has been replaced by the Arteon in most markets, the latter vehicle retains the CC nameplate in China.

This issue can be caused by various factors, including faulty bulbs, wiring problems, or issues with the brake light switch. Malfunctioning brake lights can lead to safety issues, as other drivers may not be aware of the vehicle's braking status, increasing the risk of accidents.
- Transmission Issues: Transmission problems have been reported in the Volkswagen CC, including issues with the dual-clutch DSG transmission. These problems can include early transmission clutch wear, which can lead to complete transmission failure if neglected. It is essential to ensure that the vehicle has had all the transmission maintenance done to avoid these issues.
- Check Engine Light Issues: Check engine light issues are a common problem in the Volkswagen CC, which can be caused by various factors, including faulty sensors, wiring problems, or issues with the engine itself. These issues can lead to significant engine damage if not addressed promptly, making it essential to diagnose and repair these problems as soon as possible.
In summary, the Volkswagen CC has been subject to various common problems, including frequent timing belt failure, engine stalling, malfunctioning brake lights, and issues with the transmission. - Summary: FAILED STATE SAFETY INSPECTION: 'FOG LIGHTS REMAIN ON ONCE HI-BEAM LIGHTS ARE ACTIVATED.' MY WIFE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2015 VOLKSWAGEN CC FROM ATLANTA GEORGIA VOLKSWAGEN DEALERSHIP. UNFORTUNATELY, THE VOLKSWAGEN MECHANIC IDENTIFIED THE VEHICLE AS BEING CODED INCORRECTLY WITH (GERMAN SPECIFICATION) VERSES US SPECIFICATIONS. POHANKA SERVICE MANAGER CONTACTED VOLKSWAGEN DIRECTLY AND THEY CHARGED ME $125 TO FIX. I HAVE A MAJOR ISSUE WITH THIS PAYMENT BUT NEED TO PASS THE MD INSPECTION. THE CAR WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW FROM A 'ATLANTA, GEORGIA VOLKSWAGEN DEALERSHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' AND BIG VOLKSWAGEN WOULD NOT HONOR FIXING THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THE CAR HAS $43K MILES AND WAS ORIGINALLY REGISTERED IN GA. VOLKSWAGEN MENTIONED THE CAR IS PASS ITS WARRANTY. I DON'T ARGUE THAT POINT BUT THEY SOLD A VEHICLE THAT DIDN'T NOT AND WOULD NOT HAVE PASSED ANY STATE SAFETY INSPECTION THAT REQUIRES FOG LIGHTS TO AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF WHEN ACTIVITY THE HI-BEAMS. SO, SINCE THEY KNOW IT'S A PROBLEM AND ONLY. ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC AFTER TALKING WITH BIG VOLKSWAGEN, THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN BUT REFUSE TO ISSUE A RECALL BECAUSE ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING. I AM HIGHLY UPSET THAT I HAD TO SPEND $125 TO FIX A SAFETY ISSUE FOR A BRAND NEW CAR. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE AN ISSUE UNTIL SOMEONE IS INJURED. WHO ELSE DO I NEED ADDRESS MY ISSUES WITH ABOUT THIS SAFETY ISSUE? PLEASE ADVISE.

Negative 2015 Volkswagen Cc car reviews
Positive 2015 Volkswagen Cc car reviews
-
I've owned my VW CC 2013 since January 2013 and I'm happy to say that I've had zero issues with it in the 7.5 years that I've owned it. The engine is very tunable and I've re-flashed the stock ECU with APR Stage 1 and did the same for DSG transmission, which has made the car speedy and agile on back mountain roads. The drive is somewhat on the sporty side, but it's not a sports car. The steering feel is precise enough to make you confident on the freeway. However, there are a few things that I don't like. Firstly, the sound insulation could be better as the car is noisy, especially on bad pavement. Secondly, the dashboard rattles, which isn't very pleasant. Thirdly, the DSG transmission isn't very smooth and jerks a lot when pushed hard. Lastly, there is a lot of oversteer after putting Stage 1, which makes me think that this car should be all-wheel-drive. Despite these issues, I still think that this car is a great choice. I've put 44k miles on it and it still drives like new. The materials still hold up quite nicely and there are no cracks, fading, or other damages neither to the interior or exterior. I still have the original brake pads and rotors. I change the oil every 5k miles, which is twice as frequent as the owner manual recommends. Overall, I'm very happy with my VW CC 2013 and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable car.1) Remember to schedule your oil changes every 5k miles. 2) It's a good idea to change the engine air filter with every oil change. 3) Consider getting a DSG liquid flush. 4) I had to replace my battery after five years, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. 5) Don't forget to replace your spark plugs. 6) I decided to get a new set of tires at 22k mileage because I didn't really like the stock ones.

I have a 2013 VW CC Lux. Volkswagen has had a hard time marketing and developing consumer mind share with this model. However, this car is a great option for people with a $35-$40K budget, especially in the pre-owned market. I was able to pick up my CC, which was a lease return, for $22K. The turbo 2.0 liter engine is strong, smooth and is the same base power plant found in a lot of higher-end Audis. The road manners are excellent and I average about 27 mpg combined, which is great for someone who hates stopping for gas. Additionally, the transmission has a sport mode and manual shift which is great for more aggressive driving situations and mountain roads. This car comes fully equipped with features that are expensive options on a BMW 3 series, such as navigation, Bluetooth, adaptive headlights, cornering lights, auto-climate control, easy to use on board computer, leather wrapped steering wheel, and power/heated front seats. The Lux model's huge glass moonroof creates an openness in the cabin, making it a great feature. However, the car is low slung so getting in and out requires more effort, and the back seat, while fine for 2 passengers, is a tight fit for 3. Additionally, the lack of a back up camera is a drawback since rear visibility is not great due to the shape of the roof. All in all, it's a great car. If you're looking to save some cash, consider picking up a lease return.

The 2013 CC Luxury Sedan (2.0 L/ T) is a vehicle for the ages.!! I understand now why (VW) did not import it to the U. S. till 2009. It hold its value as well as it holds the road. Luckily I do my own repairs. But if I didn’t it would be for naught. The car, like the Timex Watch, “Takes a likin’ and keeps on ticking”. If you want a car that your Grandfather wished he could own - get a ( VW ) “CC”. End of Story...!!

Hey there! I noticed that there are a couple of things that bother me about my VW CC. Firstly, the check engine light keeps coming on. Secondly, the tire pressure lights tend to come on when the weather is warm or when I change altitude while driving. Interestingly, this has been the case for my last three VW's, so I suppose it's not too bad considering I've owned 9 Passats since the mid-1980s. It's just a bit frustrating that I have to stop at a gas station or convenience store, spend a few dollars, and check the tire pressure for an accurate reading at my current location.

I can understand your frustration with having to fold your head while getting in, and the B pillar being in the wrong spot can be a bit of a nuisance. However, mirrors can definitely help with this issue!

German cars can be quite expensive to maintain, but it's important to note that proper maintenance can greatly extend the life of the vehicle. While some parts may need to be replaced more frequently than others, it's important to address any issues promptly to avoid further damage. It's also worth noting that many luxury car brands, not just German ones, require more maintenance than non-luxury brands. However, with proper care and attention, these cars can still provide a great driving experience. It's important to do your research and choose a vehicle that fits your budget and lifestyle.

I purchased a 2013 Certified Pre-owned vehicle in 2015. Unfortunately, after 2 years, it failed inspection due to a faulty intake manifold, which has been a recurring issue in many Volkswagen models with the 2.0 turbo motor. Despite my CPO warranty expiring last month, Volkswagen has refused to cover the cost of the repair. As a result, I have decided to switch back to BMW, as the Volkswagen brand has been irreparably damaged in my eyes.

Although I have had some issues with my 2013 Volkswagen CC, I would like to share my experience. In the past 40,000 miles, I have encountered a few problems such as the clutch on the manual transmission burning out within 24 hours of driving off the lot, which was surprising given my 20 years of experience driving manual. Additionally, there was an issue with the motor and the EPC warning, which was covered by a recall but is no longer covered. The trunk also pops open whenever I put the car in reverse, and the adaptive headlight stopped working today. Despite these issues, I am considering going back to BMW. I would like to share my experience to help others make informed decisions when purchasing a car.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with this car. In my opinion, it's a great car for rural and interstate highway conditions. It's not a racing car, but it handles very well and has plenty of power. Plus, it's really fuel efficient! After driving it for 21,000 miles, I can say that it has met all of my expectations. However, I do have one major disappointment: the CC burns oil. According to the owner's manual, oil consumption can be up to 1 quart per 1,200 miles (0.5 liters per 1,000 km), depending on driving conditions. While this may be normal for some vehicles, I personally find it to be a bit of a letdown. What do you think?

You can find the model specifications and technical details on the VW website, so I won't go into that. Instead, I'd like to share my personal impressions of the car. I recently purchased a 2014 CC Sport in black for my daily commute, which is a 9-mile drive one way, five days a week, and I also take it on two road trips a year. This is my third VW, having previously owned a Jetta and a GTI. The buying experience was typical, but I was happy with the fair deal I received. The interior and exterior design, fit, and finish are all top-notch. The seams are close and even, the textures are supple, and the ergonomics are well thought out. Driving the car is a pleasure, with a softer ride than the GTI but still very firm. The engine is very responsive, and driving is effortless. However, I must mention that within 30 days of owning the car, the interior developed several squeaks and rattles, which the dealer was unwilling to fix. The driver's mini glove box even cut my hand, and the blower fan made a squaking noise in the morning. The blower eventually died and was replaced under warranty. When I turned the car in with 18,000 miles on it, at least two of the tires were worn out. The dealer said it was due to the steering angle from VW. Twice, I was stuck at a gas station with the fuel door frozen shut (even though there was no recent moisture or snow), and one of the rear seats was locked in the up position, making it impossible to load any long items from the trunk. Despite these issues, the car's comfort, powertrain, and driveability are its strong points, and it's no wonder they were giving them away.
