He says that it’s not even safe for me to drive the vehicle at this time and at this time, I’m trying to buy another car because I have to keep the windows down, so I don’t pass out from the smell of gas … I called Appleton Volkswagen of Sanford as they switched out the whole fuel tank at 80,000. The vehicle has about 190,000 now … there was just a recall put out for the fuel pump for certain Volkswagen year 2015 and above, but the CC is not on this.? I I feel like it should be in the recall because my car is very unsafe to drive and I’m scared that I’m gonna blow up a fire of flames right now just driving it to the repair they’re not because this is very unsafe ……

- Summary: Hi, I’ve had my turbocharge replaced in October of 2020 at the Volkswagen dealership in Wichita, KS. Just recently my car started driving funny again such as not accelerating like it should with a slight whining noise. I can only get up to 25-30 mph then the whining noise starts up to where I have to take my foot off the gas, let my speed drop itself then proceed to accelerate again which is very dangerous. - Summary: My Cruise Control unit will not engage. And I have (6) six warning lamps showing every time I operate the car. With these lamps showing on the info system screen, the cruise control Will not engage! I asked the dealership about it. And was told that the wheel bearing unit has moved away from where it is bolted on. And now it is touching the Air Bag control module. That's why I've got six lamps showing up on the center info screen, every time I operate the car. And on another incident. I was traveling on the interstate and their was some water that had collected in a dip between hills. And when I traveled through it, the force of the water flowing into the engine department, knocked the cruise control OFF. Disengaged it. I'm am available for inspection of said vehicle. Oh yes, this happened once before, but all of a sudden all the warnings lamps turned off. But I'm not so lucky now. It doesn't seem to affect the Air Bags any, But I could be Wrong! The dealer explained what has happened within the components of my problem. But, since I wasn't forth coming to pay them to check or repair it, nothing got done. And it has been going on for about 6 - 8 months.

Congratulations on your new 2012 CC! It's great to hear that you finally got the car you've been eyeing for two years since seeing it at the local car show. The Euro sport coupe/sedan design is truly striking and ahead of any domestic manufacturer in a similar price range. The metallic Black adds to the already striking silhouette, making it look like a leopard ready to leap even while standing curbside. Although the rear seats (2) are not as spacious as your old Mercedes E320, it's good to know that your dog never complains about headroom. The interior appointments and options on a basic Sport model far exceed what you had on the Mercedes, including dual 6-way power front seats and a radio that does everything but blow your nose for you! It comes with many of the same options as a BMW, Audi or Mercedes, but at a much lower cost and with equally stunning looks (if not better!). The car is built to last and has great handling and acceleration. If you're a Baby Boomer, make sure the dealership walks you through all of the amazing technology. It's definitely worth it!

The CC is an excellent blend of performance, style, and value. The 2.0 turbo engine is very peppy and responsive. I was surprised to learn that my friend, who recently drove my relatively new CC Sport, thought it was a 6 cylinder from its pick up. I have gotten up to 34.5 mpg on a combined road and street drive, even with the required premium gas. Generally, in town mileage has been about 26 mpg. The interior is very elegant and at a price that is much more reasonable than the VW's German counterparts. I recently traded in my 7-year-old Passat (the best car I have ever owned) to get this snazzy sedan, and I am thrilled each time I get into the CC.

I have a 2013 VW CC Lux. Volkswagen has had a hard time marketing and developing consumer mind share with this model. However, this car is a great option for people with a $35-$40K budget, especially in the pre-owned market. I was able to pick up my CC, which was a lease return, for $22K. The turbo 2.0 liter engine is strong, smooth and is the same base power plant found in a lot of higher-end Audis. The road manners are excellent and I average about 27 mpg combined, which is great for someone who hates stopping for gas. Additionally, the transmission has a sport mode and manual shift which is great for more aggressive driving situations and mountain roads. This car comes fully equipped with features that are expensive options on a BMW 3 series, such as navigation, Bluetooth, adaptive headlights, cornering lights, auto-climate control, easy to use on board computer, leather wrapped steering wheel, and power/heated front seats. The Lux model's huge glass moonroof creates an openness in the cabin, making it a great feature. However, the car is low slung so getting in and out requires more effort, and the back seat, while fine for 2 passengers, is a tight fit for 3. Additionally, the lack of a back up camera is a drawback since rear visibility is not great due to the shape of the roof. All in all, it's a great car. If you're looking to save some cash, consider picking up a lease return.

I regret my decision to purchase a Volkswagen as my first new car. Despite taking it to the dealership multiple times, the car remains noisy with creaks and rattles in both the front and back. Despite replacing the strut, brakes, and other parts, the distinctive rattle in the front driver's side when going over bumps persists. Additionally, there has been a delay in receiving a replacement for the plastic trim behind the rear window, which cracked for no apparent reason. The acceleration also experiences a significant delay. These issues have not been resolved despite multiple attempts by the dealership.

I bought this car because I fell in love with it during the test drive. The interior is fantastic, and the car has excellent overall performance and suspension. I have owned this car for four years now, and during the first year of ownership, the car ran like a champ with no issues whatsoever. Unfortunately, after the warranty expired three months before, things started to go downhill. I experienced a water pump failure, which cost $1,500 to fix. Six months later, the water pump failed again, and I was frustrated with the mechanics until it failed again a year later. Over the past three years, I have had to replace four water pumps, and I have also experienced issues with the intake manifold, PCV valve, and fuel pump, which are all common problems due to poor engineering, according to the dealer. I also had to deal with a constant oil leak until I had the valve cover gasket redone. The rear main seal failed at 40,000 miles, and the car now has 50,675 miles. Although it's a great car when it runs, I have spent more money on repairs for this car than the maintenance work done on my two previous vehicles combined.

As a seasoned VW lessee, I opted for the 2.0turbo and DSG transmission in my 1st CC. The car's styling is a standout feature, with its progressive, swept-back design that looks great both inside and out. The CC also delivers a precise steering and a responsive turbo 4 and gearing, making it a joy to drive. It's a comfortable, easy-to-drive car that's perfect for both highway cruising and commuting. While the transmission may take some getting used to, occasional slow shifts in traffic can be dangerous. Unfortunately, after 3 years, I became dissatisfied with the car and the VW brand. The dealer refused to address the rattles, and the tires wore out prematurely due to factory alignment issues. Additionally, the gas door would freeze shut in cold weather, and the infotainment system was outdated. I ultimately turned it in early and switched to a domestic brand, which I'm very happy with.

I had a great experience with CC in the beginning. However, after purchasing the car, I encountered some issues due to a recall for the seat wiring. Additionally, the window leaked due to a seal issue and the trunk would not close. These were all warning signs of things to come. Unfortunately, after the warranty expired due to high mileage, the dashboard around the ignition and glove box started bubbling and peeling. The trunk also stopped opening and the wire harness broke, despite no obvious rodent chewing that caused it. The repair cost me $250.00. In August, there was a recall for the steering column console, and in September, the steering wheel locked up. I initially thought it was due to the recall, but it turned out to be a rack and pinion issue that was not related to the recall. The VW service estimated the repair cost to be $1600.00, plus an $80 tow. Despite these issues, a sales colleague of mine was still interested in buying the car.
