I think it's great! I had a 2000 Focus 4dr Sedan that was loaded with extras, but it caught on fire on my way to work on 01-07-04 and was a total loss. This Saturn seems much better built than the Focus. There is more room in the engine compartment and everything is not all crammed together. Also, it rides better, has more room, and gets the same mileage. What's not to like?

The best thing about this car is how quickly it can start and how easily it can accelerate to the speed limit from a stop. It's really convenient!

This is the first new car I have purchased in years. While the L-300 is a nice car, it may not be considered exceptional. It may not be in the same league as a Honda or Toyota, but it certainly provides good transportation. However, if you're looking for an American alternative to Japanese cars, this may not be the best option. Additionally, the gas mileage could be better.

I am confident in stating that my 03 L200 has been in the shop every week for the past 3 months. Despite having fixed everything from computers to engine cradle, it is currently undergoing repairs for a faulty fuel pump. I have had to replace the horn 5 times. While Saturn has only repaired the items at their cost due to mileage in the first year, I have spent over 30K+ on these repairs.

The 3rd Saturn L series had some issues, particularly with the headlights and dashlights dimming to the point where it could be mistaken for signaling. This was a safety concern, especially on the highway. However, according to the TSB (technical service bulletin), this was a normal characteristic due to intermittent dimming or flickering of headlamps and/or instrument panel lighting caused by transient current loads on the electrical system during normal vehicle operation. It's worth noting that the 4cyl in the L series is weaker compared to the SL2, despite being a bigger car with the same engine size.

I strongly advise against purchasing a Saturn. Despite the 0% financing offer, the car has a plastic feel and a noisy ride. Additionally, it does not hold its resale value. Contrary to what I had heard, the customer service at the dealership has been subpar. In my opinion, it would be better to consider other options. Personally, I regret not sticking with my Toyota.

This car has been a disappointment since the day I bought it. The ride is harsh, the steering is vague and indirect, and the seat support and comfort are poor. Additionally, the high levels of wind and road noise make it difficult to enjoy the ride. Despite reading positive reviews on Edmunds, I have found that this car gets poor fuel economy, shifts abruptly, and has poor suspension dampening. The interior design is lackluster, with broken and worn out panels, rough trim textures, and faded fabric. Overall, this car has not met my expectations and I would not recommend it.

I've had my L300 for almost a year now and it's been great, except for when I got into an accident. Unfortunately, the body didn't hold up as well as I had hoped. While the infrastructure is solid, the cosmetic damage was extensive and it feels like it's barely holding together. I'm a bit disappointed with the fuel economy, and I've also been experiencing some issues with oil and coolant leaks. Overall, I'm not sure if I would purchase this car again.
