The car is not only fun to drive, but it also has terrific gas mileage and accelerates quickly. The Bose stereo system has a 9.3 GB hard drive, which means you can load many CDs onto it and not have to keep them in the car. Additionally, it looks great and handles well. There is plenty of backseat room for adults, and although the trunk size is reduced due to hybrid batteries, it still has sufficient space. Nissan warrants the hybrid batteries for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The rear camera makes backing up safe and parallel parking easier with a very clear image and an accurate max red line. Lastly, there are lots of features that all work well, and the car looks good inside and out.

I've had this car for 9 days and I'm thoroughly satisfied. During my first week of driving, I got 37.1 MPG and my first tank of gas lasted 651 miles, which is excellent for a car this size. My previous car was an '08 Sentra, which had 63,000 miles on it and no problems. However, I decided to upgrade to the Altima due to the 4K Nissan cash back and 2,350 federal tax credit on the hybrid. Comparing the Altima to the Sentra is almost pointless as the Altima is far more comfortable and performs with ease. I expect the Altima to be just as reliable as the Sentra.

I drove my 2010 Altima for 10.5 years and only had one problem - the hybrid battery went out at 160K. It cost me $2200 to fix, but other than that, I never had any other issues. That's why I decided to buy another Altima!

Cannot complain at all about the durability and low cost of ownership. This 11 year old car now has 135500 miles and the only money we have spent on it have been oil changes, brakes, alignment and tires. The Hybrid system has worked flawlessly for 11 years, too. This was definitely one of the best values I’ve had with a family car.

Just purchased this weekend and I'm already getting 32 MPG on my first tank! The transition from EV to Gas is seamless, so don't worry about a thing. And don't be fooled by the fact that it's a hybrid - this car still has plenty of power. Plus, with Nissan's 4k rebate, it was an offer I couldn't refuse!
