2017 Ford F-750 problems
The medium-duty version of the Ford F-Series is a range of commercial trucks manufactured by Ford Motor Company since 1948. Derived from the smaller F-Series pickup trucks, the medium-duty range is currently in its eighth generation. Initially slotted between the F-Series pickup trucks and the "Big Job" conventionals, later generations were slotted below the L-Series "Louisville" trucks; the last two generations are the largest vehicles produced by Ford since its exit from the heavy-truck segment.
The medium-duty F-Series has been used for an extensive number of applications, offered as a straight (rigid) truck and a truck-tractor (for semitrailers) in multiple cab configurations. Prior to the production of the Ford C-Series, the model line was also offered in a cab-over engine (COE) configuration; a cowled-chassis variant (the Ford B-series) was used for bus production.
For the 2000 model year, the medium-duty F-Series has been branded as part of the Ford Super Duty range, consisting of the Class 6–7 Ford F-650 and F-750; Class 8 versions of the F-750 have been produced since 2011. The current generation of the medium-duty F-Series is manufactured by Ford in its Ohio Assembly facility (Avon Lake, Ohio), replacing a joint venture with Navistar International named Blue Diamond Truck Company LLC located in General Escobedo, Mexico.

Common 2017 Ford F-750 problems
The 2017 Ford Super Duty F-750 Straight Frame Gas is a highly customizable and durable vehicle, known for its remarkable safety features and technology. However, there are some common problems reported by owners that are worth noting.
One issue that has been reported is related to the air brake self-test procedure. The ABS and Traction control lights on the dashboard may remain on continuously, and the air brake self-test procedure may not work. This problem is due to the fact that the ABS module is not located in the expected place under the rear of the cab, but is instead buried in the dash on the right side behind the cover where a passenger airbag would be on a light-duty truck. This can make diagnosing and repairing the issue difficult and time-consuming.
Another issue that has been reported is related to the BLINK CODE SWITCH, which apparently does not exist. This can make it difficult to diagnose and repair issues with the ABS system, as the BLINK CODE SWITCH is often used to identify specific problems with the system.
It's important to note that these issues are not necessarily widespread, and many owners of the 2017 Ford Super Duty F-750 Straight Frame Gas have reported being very satisfied with the vehicle's performance and reliability. However, these common problems are worth considering when purchasing a used 2017 Ford Super Duty F-750 Straight Frame Gas. It's always a good idea to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic before making a purchase, and to be aware of any potential issues that may arise.
