2012 Land rover Lr2 problems
The Land Rover Freelander is a series of four-wheel-drive vehicles that was manufactured and marketed by Land Rover from 1997 to 2015. Initially a compact SUV built on a body-on-frame chassis, the second generation model, sold from 2007 to 2015 in North America and the Middle East as the LR2 and in Europe as the Freelander 2, transitioned to a car-based platform which placed it into the compact crossover SUV class, and was developed alongside the Volvo XC60, the Volvo S80 and the third generation Ford Mondeo. The name 'Freelander' is derived from the combination of 'Freedom' and 'Lander'.
After having built exclusively body-on-frame 4WD vehicles for half a century, the first generation Freelander was the brand's first model to use monocoque (unibody) structures, and was offered in three- and five-door body options, including a semi soft-top. The second generation (2007–2015) dropped all two-door options, leaving only a five-door estate car-like body, and – after 62 years – became the brand's first ever to offer a two-wheel drive option (as of 2010).
After a five-year hiatus, the two-door Freelanders were succeeded by the three-door versions of the Range Rover Evoque in 2011, and the five-door generation 2 was replaced by the Discovery Sport in 2015, the nameplate spanning two generations and less than eighteen years.

Plenty of power, a quiet and smooth ride, and an amazing stereo. I upgraded my air filter to a top-of-the-line lifetime filter and noticed a nice increase in both mileage and horsepower.

I love my Land Rover! Despite hearing stories of high maintenance costs and suspension issues, my car has already clocked 125,000 miles and I haven't had to repair anything other than the standard use items such as brakes, rotors, and tires. While the ride may not be luxurious, let's be real, a Land Rover is built for off-road adventures. If you're looking for a nice highway car, a Land Rover may not be the best choice. However, when it comes to handling 8 inches of snow, my Land Rover eats it for breakfast and asks for more! :)

I'm impressed by how well my LR2 performs compared to other luxury vehicles I've owned, such as BMWs and Jaguars. It's an excellent value for the price. The armrest is comfortable for those who aren't overweight, and the console provides ample storage space. The cargo space is suitable for most families, and the SUV is well-built and rides smoothly. It comes with many features that are typically only available on more expensive models like the RX350, X3, X5, ML 350, or GLK350. I can assure you that it's a stunning machine that stands out from the crowd. My fully loaded SUV cost me less than $28,000.

This car is an excellent value for your money. I have had no issues with it so far and it feels very well-built. It is also a joy to drive, with enough power to drive it sportily without feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. The Alpine Dolby Surround stereo system is fantastic and the Bluetooth connects right away to any of my phones (although it could be a bit louder). The navigation is terrific, although the updates can be a bit pricey. The brakes are great (especially with the 19

This car is a blast to drive and is incredibly capable. It's not just an all-wheel drive car, it's a true 4x4. It handles like a sports car in the city and a Jeep off-road. As someone who has been driving 4x4s for nearly 35 years, I'm amazed at how this vehicle takes all the drama out of muddy roads. Land Rover has packed every technical option available into this high-quality rig. So far, I haven't encountered any problems.

This car has been a disappointment since the day I bought it. Despite owning it for only three months, I have already spent over $5,000 on repairs. Even the Land Rover dealership couldn't fix the AC, but they did find $4,600 worth of other issues. When we tried to pick it up from the dealership, the car wouldn't start and they demanded another $800 for a new starter. It's frustrating that these cars require so much maintenance and it's difficult to find a mechanic willing to work on them. In my opinion, Land Rovers are overrated and not worth the investment.

My new LR2 has 230 miles on it. Unfortunately, I realized the day after I purchased it that it was not ergonomically suitable for me. The armrest is very thin and cuts off circulation no matter what height or arm position. If you put the armrest up, there is nowhere to put your arm. What's worse is that in the up position, the metal adjustment screw (about 2
