I bought my wagon 3 years ago and have done as much regular maintenance as I could afford. Even during the times when I was unable to, it ran like a dream. Although the body does have some rust, mechanically she is sound. It is an awesome vehicle to drive and a dream to work on. From what I have found, there is very little work that I cannot do. I would definitely buy another one if the chance arose.

Your old jeep is actually an '88 model, with 158000 on her. I'm so glad to hear that you bought it because you have always loved the way they looked. It would be amazing to see a redo of these back on the road. I understand that there are less and less of these on the road due to salt on the roads.

There are a few issues with her, but if you're looking for the grandfather of SUVs, she's the one for you. It's like driving while sitting on a couch. I absolutely love it.
