The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

The clunking sound in the front end of my 08 Escalade during acceleration has been identified as a potential issue. While I have already replaced the u-joints in the rear, I will be investigating the front end to determine the root cause of the problem. Additionally, I will be addressing the tire wear issue that was brought to my attention by the technician at Discount Tire. Thank you for bringing these concerns to my attention.

I just leased a black/black 2008 Escalade and I absolutely love it! I opted for the Ultra Lux. Pkg and the 22's and Nav are just amazing. I've owned quite a few nice cars in the past (only 23!) including a 2005 TL (non-nav) which I loved, and a 2006 MDX (touring with nav) which I also loved. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about buying American, but this truck has exceeded all my expectations. Everyone, including my girlfriend, can't stop raving about it. It's fast, athletic, and handles great with the stock 22's. I was thrilled to find out that it fits perfectly in my garage. I'm really looking forward to taking it snowboarding and towing my bikes down south on those long trips. I highly recommend tinting the front windows to match the back, and if possible, asking your dealer not to install the front plate.

This Caddy (ESV) is amazing! The sheer presence is so impressive that everyone who sees it loves it. When you quickly accelerate, the exhaust reminds me of the race cars in 'Days of Thunder'. What a sound! It's almost better than my Vet. When you enter the car at night, the lighting, both inside and out, is unbelievable. Everything about this vehicle exudes luxury. I have read some complaints about the transmission, but I personally like the way it works. It tends to quickly go to the next gear. You have to go nearly 80 MPH to get to 2K PRM - the engine is just amazing. Still, if you're in a hurry, you just need to punch it and it takes off. Like the TV ad says, if the Escalade had a bathroom, I'd live in it!

I'm glad to hear that your Escalade has been reliable for you, even with 250k miles on it! While some parts like door lock actuators and sensors may fail over time, it's great to know that the important components like the motor and transmission are still going strong. Although it may leak oil from various parts, it's good to hear that you change the oil every 5k miles and it only uses about half a quart. It sounds like it's a great vehicle to drive and easy to work on. Spending 10k on it 12 years later seems like a good investment for a safe and reliable family vehicle.

My previous model ESV 2004 was a luxury vehicle with exceptional features. However, the 2008 model has some areas of improvement. The seats are hard and do not provide enough support when cornering. The sun visor could be better. The headrest's ability to bend forward is lacking compared to the previous model. Unfortunately, the disc changer system under random ALL, which I used frequently, has been removed since the addition of the backup camera. Despite this setback, I remain a loyal Cadillac customer and have purchased 10 new Cadillacs in a row. However, I am considering a Mercedes GL 550 for my next purchase, which I believe will meet my expectations.

I have owned 3 Range Rovers from 2005 up until 2008 and I must say, I regret getting rid of my Range Rover. The difference in quality between my previous car and my current one is like going from a Porsche to a scooter. Unfortunately, the stitching is poorly done and the fake wood trim looks like plastic. Even from a side rear view, the Escalade doesn't look very appealing. The Escalade also idles very roughly, but I suppose that's to be expected from a GM car. It's possible that the car was built in a hurry by robots. Fortunately, I lease this car, so I can't wait to switch back to my beloved Range Rover.

This is my first caddy and my last. However, I must say that it looks great and has tons of room. Although it drives like a mack truck and feels like something is going to break when you go over a bump, it's not all bad. I sure miss my range Rover, but I'm grateful that I never went off-road.

I really liked the appearance of the new Escalade, but unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to my expectations. It seems to have some mechanical issues, which is a shame. Despite its flaws, it's still a great-looking vehicle. However, I've experienced some problems with the transmission, which can be quite jarring at times. Although Cadillac has tried to fix the issue, it still persists. Additionally, the vehicle idles roughly, which is a recent development. Even though I've been using premium fuel as recommended, the problem persists. Occasionally, the power lift gate doesn't work as expected. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the vehicle and wish I had gone with an 08 Sequoia instead.

It's great to have a car that looks sharp and is enjoyable to drive. However, it seems like the engineers may have missed the mark when it comes to the interior design. Unfortunately, the rear pass. windows don't roll down all the way, which can be frustrating. Additionally, there are no pockets in the back side doors and no storage, which can make it difficult to keep things organized. The seats are also quite uncomfortable, which can make long drives a bit of a challenge. Despite these issues, there are some positives to this car. For example, it has a third row of seats, which can be useful for larger families. However, it's worth noting that the cup holders for the third row are only on the left side of the car. Lastly, there is a water leak in the sunroof, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, while there are some drawbacks to this car, it still has some great features that make it worth considering.
