The Jaguar XE (X760) is a car manufactured by Jaguar Land Rover and marketed under their Jaguar marque since April 2015. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER JAGUAR OF MONMOUTH LOCATED AT 105 NJ-36, EATONTOWN, NJ 07724 WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL RETURN HOSE HAD RUPTURED CAUSING DIESEL FUEL TO LEAK. ALSO FUEL HAD LEAKED INTO THE GAPS OF THE WINDSHIELD. WHILE SERVICING THE VEHICLE IT WAS ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE EXHAUST CSR SECTION WAS OPENING AT THE SEAMS. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 17V286000 (FUEL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.

- Summary: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 and 2020 Jaguar XE vehicles that received a replacement rear rail assembly as part of a service repair. Missing spot welds may weaken the structural strength of the rear rail assembly.
- Consequence: The weakened rear rail assembly may allow the rear bumper beam to detach when the vehicle is being towed or the tow-bar assembly to detach when towing a trailer. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear rail assembly, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed May 7, 2021. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H349.

- Consequence: A diesel fuel leak onto the road surface may cause a skid hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. If the fuel leak contacts a hot engine or exhaust component, there would be an increased risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel return hose, free of charge. The began May 2, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H016.

It's great to hear that your car is still performing well after a year! Although there are some minor annoyances such as not being able to change presets from the steering wheel and the lack of a heated seat button, it still drives beautifully. I recently purchased the 35t and I must say, if you're looking for a high-performance sport sedan, this is definitely the car for you! However, there are some limitations to the interior functionality such as the front parking seats not working unless you push the parking button each time you're getting ready to park, and the steering wheel radio controls being very limited. Additionally, the presets are separated by band (am/fm/Xm) and cannot be combined, and the heads-up display is very basic when compared to other models and doesn't project well. The auto stop-start setting defaults back to active every time you start the car, and phone controls are limited from the steering wheel. That being said, when you floor the gas, all the problems are forgotten! I also found that the voice recognition for phone dialing is faster and more accurate than Siri. I fell in love with this vehicle before I even knew it was a Jaguar. The shape and aerodynamic physical appearance are both aggressive and yet sexy. It has hit 83k miles and still drives like a dream, making it the perfect daily and road tripping vehicle. However, some interior flaws could have been avoided and the infotainment system could definitely use an upgrade. At the end of the day, it's a win/win for someone who wants to own a luxury car without entirely breaking the bank.

The back seat is a bit small in this car, so if you need a larger back seat, you may want to consider other options. However, if you're looking for a car that's a joy to drive, this is definitely it. The 340HP Supercharged 6 is absolutely amazing, with no engine lag whatsoever. The handling and ride are also fantastic, as is the E-Steering. I haven't had this much fun driving since the 60s, when I owned a 65 Shelby Mustang. Lastly, I highly recommend getting the HUD, as it displays your speed (among other things) and can help you avoid unintentionally speeding. While the price may be slightly higher than some of its competitors, I believe it's well worth it, especially considering it's a Jag! Oh, and I should mention that I got 32 MPG on a 150 mile road trip today without even trying to conserve fuel.

When I first saw this car, I knew I had to have it. And now, three years later, I do! I spent months researching before finally deciding on the RWD. While the AWD is great, I felt that the driving experience was more restricted. For me, RWD is the way to go for a more fun and exciting ride. The only downside is that I have to fill up the gas tank every few days, but that's my own fault! Overall, this car is an absolute pleasure to drive and I often find myself making up excuses just to take it out for a spin. With its good looks, value, and out-of-this-world acceleration, you really can't go wrong. Oh, and let me tell you, the S mode is absolutely sick! It turns this car into a completely different beast. I like to call it my mini Hellcat.

The car looked great at first, but after owning it for over a year, I've had some issues. The paintwork seems to scratch easily compared to other cars I've owned, even though I take really good care of my cars. When washing the roof of the car, the roof panel behind the sunroof gives way and dents in. I'm not sure if this is a safety concern, but it does make me worry. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any safety ratings on this car. The backseat isn't designed for kids, and the seat belts lock up continuously for no reason, which can be a big issue when your child is a highback booster and can't get their belt buckled. The seatbelt won't unlock unless it's fully retracted, which can't happen unless you remove the belt from the belt guide in the booster. Also, the boosters overhang the seatbelt receptacle. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend this car if you have kids. The leather or pleather on the center console armrest has a big air bubble where the glue is no longer holding the material to the under-surface. Additionally, a speaker has blown in the front passenger side. Overall, it seems like this car is cheaply made for its price point.

I purchased this vehicle on 11/2/2017 and it definitely turns heads with its magical looks. However, I have been experiencing some issues with it. The front space is quite limited and as someone who is 5'7'', I find it difficult to reach the window at drive-up windows. The home link has not worked despite several attempts with customer service. Additionally, the sunroof and sunshade buttons require being held to open and close, and the gas saver has stopped working. I have also skinned my shin a few times getting in the car. Despite these issues, I am taking the car to the dealership for repairs tomorrow. Although I am disappointed with the quality of the vehicle, I must say that it has great mileage. The speaker system and radio presets are not up to Jaguar's usual standards, but the car looks great. The steering wheel is manually operated, which may not be ideal for some. The dealership polished over many scratches, but they became noticeable after the first car wash. The trunk is also quite small. Overall, I am not satisfied with my purchase and am considering other options such as the Benz E Class or Audi A6. What do you think? Any suggestions? (3/15/18)

The 2017 did not meet my expectations because when I decided to drive the car, a light came on saying that all four tires needed air, and the exclamation mark within a triangle was also on. When I looked in the manual, it showed at least four possible options of what could be wrong. Then I went online and couldn't find the answer to my questions, so I called the dealership. Unfortunately, they were unable to schedule an appointment for me until next week or the week after. Although I really like the car, I am returning it because I don't know what is wrong with it. It would have been helpful to receive a copy of the inspection, as I was told that all of your cars go through inspection before being shipped out.

Here are some things to consider before purchasing the 2017 Jaguar XE 35T: [1] I sold this car back after 7 months of ownership. [2] The interior is not up to par with other luxury vehicles, even a Honda V6 has a better interior. [3] The car tends to skid during heavy acceleration and has some body roll. [4] The 2017 model does not have daytime running lights. [5] Even the 35T premium model does not have HID lights, only halogen lights. [6] The resale value is not great. [7] It is not the most expensive Jaguar model, so some corners were cut. [8] The premium model does not have lumbar support. [9] The visibility is poor, especially when there is a passenger in the car. [10] Dealership support could be better. In my opinion, there are better options out there for the price. However, the car does have some good qualities such as [1] great looks, [2] super acceleration, [3] great gas mileage, [4] a 5-year warranty including maintenance, and [5] super brakes.
