I've owned this car for 9 years and it has been impressively reliable with no major repairs needed. During the summer, I average 35mph and 28mph in the winter (I live in Boston, so I need to keep the engine running to use the heater). I love the fuel efficiency, excellent GPS, and climate control. The exterior paint quality has held up very well and still looks shiny after a wash. The only downside is that the cloth interior stains easily and the initial acceleration is not as quick as a regular car. During the winter, I park outside, which has caused some rust to appear on the rocker panels. Despite these minor issues, I plan to keep the car for a few more years. As of 2022, the car still runs well with 175K miles on the odometer. Unfortunately, a couple of the jack points have rusted through, making it difficult to have the car serviced. Both rockers have significant rust. It's a shame because the car has been faithful and continues to give me 35 mpg.

I was one of the first to buy the Fusion Hybrid in October 2009. So far, it has been a great investment, only needing an oxygen sensor at 92k and a left front wheel bearing at 135k. I replaced the tires at 62k and the regular battery went at 5 years, which is typical. During my time in sunny Florida, I averaged an impressive 42 mpg. However, since moving to upstate NY, the mileage has taken a slight drop, which I believe is mostly due to the colder temperatures causing the motor to run more for heat. To address some of the issues raised by other reviewers who haven't owned their cars as long, I would like to point out a few things. Firstly, if you live in a cold climate, it's important to keep in mind that you may not achieve the same great mileage as in warmer areas. However, it's worth considering how a regular car would perform in the same conditions. Secondly, the direction of travel can also have an impact on your mileage, as wind plays a big part. Thirdly, if you're an aggressive driver, don't expect miracles from a hybrid. Finally, after sitting in the sun, the mileage will be lower than if the car had been in a cool garage, likely due to the added use of the AC. Overall, the cost of ownership has been very low, with only a few minor repairs needed, including an oxygen sensor at 92k, left front wheel bearing at 130k, and throttle body at 135k. I can confidently say that this car has been very reliable.

I've had my 2010 FFH for almost 2 years now and it has been an absolute delight! The odometer now reads 199,842 miles and I have driven it a lot, but it has never had any serious problems - just the basics like oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and brake checks. The only thing I've noticed is that the mpg is lower than what was claimed (36-41), averaging at 31-32 mpg. I've tried changing the spark plugs, tires, and gasoline, but it hasn't made much of a difference. However, I do tend to drive aggressively, so I can understand why it won't go any closer to 35. Despite this, the car is still amazing and fully loaded with options and features!

This car may have a higher price tag than a 4 cylinder Fusion, but it's definitely worth the investment. It's a real gas saver and an absolute champ on the road. Living in the mountains, my MPG is probably below average for a Ford Fusion Hybrid owner, but I still manage to average about 37.2 mpg. During my commutes to the downtown area of my city via highway, I average about 48 mpg per trip which really pleases me. With the total average mpg of my car at 37.2 mpg, I can go nearly 650 miles on a full tank of gas. Not only does this car save lots of money on gas, but it also looks quite sporty in my humble opinion. The interior of the vehicle is also appealing to the eye. I have black leather interior that looks beautifully classy and is extremely comfortable. The entertainment display this vehicle comes equipped with is quite the capable machine. It comes with GPS and loads of other features that are fascinating. One example is the power distribution between the engine and hybrid battery. A more practical display is the average mpg (which I use). Although the entertainment/infotainment system has many functions, it is simple to understand and operate. Elaborating on other interior features, the car comes with TWELVE Sony speakers and you can choose to play music with surround sound from them. You can also adjust the bass and treble of the speakers with the infotainment screen. A cool perk to this car is that the cup holder lights can actually change color with the push of a button! Overall, this car is a great investment that saves you money and looks great while doing it.The backseat of the car is equipped with an actual outlet, which allows for faster charging. One thing to note is that the auxiliary port is located inside the center console, which may take up some space for other items. However, I appreciate how the location hides the excess aux cord in the console. The performance of this car is truly impressive for its price tag. The steering is tight and the car is agile, while the electric motor provides great torque and speed. The brakes are also very responsive and impressive, as I experienced firsthand when I had to make a sudden stop. The comfort of this car is above average too. My friends and I drove for two and a half hours straight without any discomfort or aching muscles. The seats are adjustable in multiple ways and are thick, comfortable, and fit the body well. Overall, this car has many pros to offer.MPG, brakes, handling, comfort, speakers, outlet, moon roof, infotainment system, 3 programmable garage door openers, back-up camera, Bluetooth capability, aux, disc capability, 10 GB jukebox, Sirius XM, automatic headlights and windshield wipers. The car has a few minor cons, such as a smaller trunk due to the hybrid battery location, and a peculiar aux location. Additionally, the headlights could be brighter.

On 4/5, after driving about 500 miles, the vehicle suddenly stopped in traffic with all error lights illuminated. The vehicle was promptly towed to the dealer for repairs. Despite the initial setback, the dealer was able to identify the issue and promptly ordered a new processor. Although there was a slight delay in receiving the part, the dealer was able to install the new processor on 4/11. However, despite the repair, the error lights remained illuminated. The dealer has been in contact with Ford Engineering and is actively working on resolving the issue. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring that your Fusion runs smoothly and efficiently. I am confident in saying that the Ford Fusion Hybrid is a car that has a lot of potential. It comes with a range of upgraded accessories such as navigation, SYNC, and smart gauges, which are all impressive features. The car also has a great fuel economy, averaging over 40 mpg combined. However, I must say that I am disappointed with the recent experience I had with the car. After only 2 months of use, the car would not start, and despite being in the Ford service shop for 30 days, the problem has not been diagnosed.
