The failure recurred, and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was then taken to a second dealer, Sioux City Ford Lincoln (3601 Singing Hills Blvd, Sioux City, IA 51106), where a technician test-drove the vehicle with the contact. The contact was informed that the vehicle had been involved in a collision, which voided the warranty coverage. The vehicle was later taken back to the second dealer, where the contact was informed that the vehicle had not been involved in a collision. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and several cases were opened. The failure mileage was approximately 6,500.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."

This is my 3rd Edge and I love the new one. I went for the ST line since I couldn't get an ST with the panoramic roof, but I still love it anyway! I just miss having keyless entry and a front camera.

As a loyal customer who has owned three Ford Edges, I was disappointed with the 2022 model. I found the tablet component to be difficult to use and distracting, as it required taking my eyes off the road to access most controls. Additionally, the 2 litre turbo engine was quite loud and not as smooth as I had hoped. While the car handled decently, it did not meet the high quality standards of my previous Edges. I also experienced issues with the tablet freezing up, which could only be resolved by completely shutting off and restarting the car. Ultimately, I decided to part ways with the vehicle and will not be considering any future Ford products for my household.

I recently drove over 1000 miles on an open highway with no traffic, where the speed limit ranged from 55-70 mph. According to the dashboard, my car's MPG was between 17 in the city and 21 on a full tank. On a full tank, the dash initially read 402 miles until empty, but it adjusted and I was only able to go 385 miles on a full tank. I used both regular and premium fuel from Shell, but I found it frustrating that gas prices are so high that I had to use premium or plus to get good mileage. It seems unfair that some cars require premium fuel to run efficiently.

The driver seat bolster is uncomfortably close and high, making for a disappointing and uncomfortable ride. Unfortunately, I will have to sell my Edge ST due to this issue. The seats are useless and I regret not paying closer attention to this before purchasing. I have not experienced this problem with my 2013 Lincoln MKX, and I am disappointed that the 2023 Ford Edge ST has such poor seat design.

I rented a 2023 model for a week and unfortunately experienced some issues. The lower door edge is angled at 90 degrees and can cause serious injury to your leg. Additionally, the instrument panel indicators for cruise control, open doors, etc. are very small and located in the left lower corner, which makes them difficult to see. The rear and rear sides have very poor visibility, and the hood is huge, tall, and raised on the sides, which obstructs visibility of the immediate surroundings like boulders. Lastly, the gas pedal is hard and acceleration has a noticeable lag. Overall, I would not recommend purchasing this model.

We recently purchased a 2017 Ford Edge and initially, we were pleased with the value for money. However, we experienced an issue with the torque converter failing at only 57,000 miles due to faulty welding. This was a serious safety hazard as the transmission would suddenly disengage and the car would shudder violently, especially at high speeds. Although there was a recall for later 2017 and 2018 models, unfortunately, our Edge was just outside the recall dates. Despite our disappointment, we reached out to Ford customer service for assistance, but unfortunately, we did not receive the level of support we had hoped for. We ended up paying $2500 for the repair job. We have reported this issue to the NHTSA government agency in the hope that they will expand the recall. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this car unless the torque converter issue has been fixed. We also hope that Ford will take a more proactive approach to addressing serious safety hazards in their cars in the future.
