WHEREAS THE FRONT SUSPENSION, STEERING, AXLES ARE VERY COMPLEX IN A FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE AUTO, THE REAR AXLE AND SUSPENSION IS, FROM WHAT I CAN TELL, VERY LOW-TECH AND SHOULD LAST THE LIFE OF THE AUTO. INSTEAD, THE TORSION BAR IN THIS RATHER INERT PART OF THE CAR HAS SIMPLY BROKEN FOR NO APPARENT REASON. Unfortunately, I've been experiencing some issues with the transmission and engine lately. If you're in the market for a car, I would recommend considering something newer.     I bought this car about 2 months ago. Although it has some rust on the hood, trunk, and under the bottoms of the doors, I'm still enjoying it. The tachometer sometimes sticks and the speedometer is a bit off, but it has surprisingly strong acceleration for a 4 cylinder automatic. With 179,000 miles, I try not to take it over 75 mph because it makes some strange noises when I go fast. Overall, I'm happy with it as my first car.

    Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my car. I bought it back in 1991 and it has been my trusty companion for over 12 years now. I have had very few repairs to make and they were all minor. The best part is that maintenance is easy to do myself and the parts are standard and not expensive. I can confidently say that this car is the most reliable one I have ever owned and has definitely been a great value for me. Even though I keep thinking about trading it in, it just keeps on running great! I can still do 75 mph on the highway and it still gets 24 mpg driving around town. Thanks for listening!

    I bought this car new in 1990 and have always loved it. Although there is minor rust on the doors, the original engine and transmission have held up well. I've always made sure to keep the car well-maintained and it has never let me down. The only issue I had was with the radio, which unfortunately had to be replaced after 5 years.

When I'm in the spirit, all is well. I've found that when I take care of the car, it takes care of me. It really has been reliable, but you should stay on top of its normal maintenance.

    I bought this car a few months ago for both fun and work. I'm really impressed with how much power Dodge was able to get out of the 2.2L engine! It surprises everyone who rides in it, and even those left behind! The seats are quite comfortable, and there's plenty of room. If you get the chance, and can find one (only 1200 were built), grab it... it's a fantastic sedan for well under $2000!
