General Motors, particularly its Chevrolet division, has not issued any notice regarding defective fuel systems in the aforementioned vehicle model. This negligence is alarming, as the repercussions of such a flaw can be catastrophic, endangering human lives and personal property. It is my belief that this issue could affect model years ranging from 2009 to 2015, amplifying the urgency for intervention. To you as repaired when service documents. Provided by them state they did not in fact repair my recall and denied me the service of the repair which unethical and put my life in danger and others i could have died or cause have liked someone for three ways Chevrolets unethical negligence and making failed reports for unrepairwd recalls

- Summary: Car has new engine and transmission everything is new and well maintained, p2138 pops up throttle quits working causing me to almost wreck into another vehicle, I was stuck in traffic 1 hour waiting for a tow truck, 7 shops have worked on the issue and replaced every part including all the technical service bulletins provided here on the site and car is still doing the same thing. The electric system in the car is prone to these issue as is the ecm . Now it's either sell the car to someone with it being unsafe or spend another couple grand hoping to get it repaired. Chevys drive by wire system is a known issue with these cars yet no recall, why, why not recall and repair the issue or is our safety not a issue

HAD TO GET THE VEHICLE REPAIRED FOR SAFETY BECAUSE IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. I BELIEVE GENERAL MOTORS IS ISSUING RECALLS FOR THIS SAME ENGINE BUT ON OTHER MODELS.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued 3 recalls for different components of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro.

- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION
- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain replacement flip-key ignition transmitter assemblies sold as replacement equipment for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles. GM dealers may have inadvertently sold these assemblies as replacement keys despite them having been recalled under NHTSA recall number 14V-346 (GM number 14294) when they were the original equipment assemblies. The driver may accidentally bump the ignition key with their knee, moving the ignition out of the run position and turning off the engine.
- Consequence: Once the engine is off, the vehicle can lose power steering and power braking, increasing the risk of a crash. The air bags may not deploy in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the key with the flat blade design, free of charge. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed November 6, 2019. Owners received a second notice and the recall began February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N192223230.

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position.
- Consequence: If the driver's seat unexpectedly drops, the distraction and altered seat position may affect the drivers' control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the height adjuster shoulder bolts, free of charge. The manufacturer distributed interim letters to owners on September 11, 2014. The recall began on December 26, 2014. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac), 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). - Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling all 2010-2014 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles manufactured December 3, 2008 to May 23, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the driver may accidentally hit the ignition key with their knee, unintentionally knocking the key out of the run position, turning off the engine.
- Consequence: If the key is not in the run position, the air bags may not deploy if the vehicle is involved in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, a key knocked out of the run position could cause loss of engine power, power steering, and power braking, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove the key blade from the original flip key/RKE transmitter assemblies, and provide two new keys and two key rings per key. The recall began August 25, 2014. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 14294. Note: Until the recall has been performed, it is very important that drivers adjust their seat and steering column to allow clearance between their knee and the ignition key.

This car does everything you would want a car to do. You'll notice a lot of people looking your way when driving. It's surprisingly quieter than most sports cars I've had in the past and has excellent response for maneuvering around corners and curves.

I've had my Camaro SS for a year and a half now. It's been a great ride so far, with a smooth and comfortable feel. There is a bit of body roll, but it's not too noticeable. The only downside to the 2011 model is the steering feel, which can be a bit hard and make the car feel heavier. However, the acceleration is outstanding and even though it doesn't feel as fast due to its smoothness, once you look at the HUD, you realize you're well into 100mph! The only downside is the poor visibility and gas mileage, which is why I decided to part ways with it. I averaged 13 MPG City and the maximum I reached on the highway was 20 (it was a miracle). After a year and a half, I still admire its beautiful style every time I walk towards or away from it.

I love the car! It's such a head-turner wherever we go. The power is awesome for a stock 6 banger. The only issue I've had in the past 4 months has been with the paint. It seems too soft or not enough coats were applied, resulting in chips, scratches, and water spots. I hope GM takes responsibility for this. But overall, I still love the car!

I bought this car in March of 2011 as a birthday present for myself. It has been my primary car and I have driven it for 30,000 miles without any problems. I am impressed with its speed, boasting over 300 horsepower with a V-6 engine. Although the rear is high and the rear window is small, my wife, who is 5 foot tall, has been unable to safely drive it. However, I believe the car's great look justifies this sacrifice. It catches attention and I have received many compliments on it. The only drawback is its gas mileage, which is about 14 miles per gallon in the city.

My wife and I stumbled upon the Bumblebee and were immediately drawn to its beautiful styling. We opted for the 2SS/RS with a few extras and an A/T, which my wife prefers, and drove home in style with a beautiful exhaust note. Some of our favorite features include the stunning design, high-quality materials (which, in my opinion, are better than what Edmunds suggests), a great sound system, and comfortable ride perfect for everyday driving. The 6.2-liter engine is a monster and provides quick acceleration, although if you've had other vehicles, you may find yourself wanting more. On the downside, the visibility is extremely poor, and despite the car's dimensions, it feels cramped inside. However, overall, the car is amazing for the price point, and we couldn't ask for more. The performance numbers in the brochure are accurate, and the fit and finish are really good, with a few exceptions if you look closely. The trunk is a bit small, which can make it difficult to fit larger suitcases and items, but this is to be expected in a sports/muscle car. The gas mileage is what you'd expect from an engine this size, so don't buy it looking for 40+ mpg. The transmission shifts are precise and can be aggressive if you put your foot on the throttle, and the rear tires really stick when it's warm out. The automatic is definitely faster, but it gives up the fun factor of rowing through gears. However, put the windows down and listen to that exhaust note, and all your worries will disappear. As fast and great as it is, I also own a 2007 Shelby GT, which is only a half-second slower to 60 than this and has a 4.6. The fact is, I don't feel as special when driving the Camaro as I do in my Shelby. At the end of the day, it is only a Camaro, regardless of how you break the numbers down.Hey there! I just wanted to share some insight with you as someone who owns other vehicles. I wouldn't say that buying this car is a bad decision, but it's important to be cautious and try to find one that hasn't been driven too hard. As someone who appreciates cars, I think it's worth noting that vehicles like this might not be around for much longer as more people switch to electric cars. We'll lose the sound of a great motor as we transition away from old school performance, but it's exciting to see where technology is taking us!

This car has its pros and cons, but let's focus on the pros first. The car is a lot of fun to drive, very powerful, and looks great. However, it's important to note that there are some downsides to consider. The MPG is not even close to what the EPA estimates are, and unless you drive incredibly well and keep the RPMs below 2500, you are going to get 14/15 MPG on a good day and average out at about 11. Additionally, the car requires frequent maintenance and can be costly to maintain. An oil change costs about $100, and the car drinks oil like it's going out of style. Tires cost about $250 each, and the car goes through those like an eraser on a pencil. Therefore, it's recommended to only buy this car if you plan to use it as a weekend car, not a daily driver, and don't mind the maintenance costs.

The car has 1000 miles on it and has performed well so far. I have followed the manufacturer's recommendation of not going over 4k during the break-in period. However, I have noticed that the driver's seat is creaking and sounds like a spring has popped. The gas mileage fluctuates from 21 to 28 mpg, which is something to keep in mind. The visibility is not great, but I was driving an Accord Coupe prior to this and am used to it. The interior of the Camaro does not compare to the Accord's, which was much nicer. Additionally, the controls on the Camaro are very small, which may be difficult for people who need reading glasses or for those who don't. There is also no interior storage as compared to the Honda. However, the dash lighting is cool. The cup holders are nonadjustable and could be improved. Overall, I am enjoying my experience with the car so far.

This car seems to have some issues. The radio knobs melted and the driver's seat ripped within the first year of purchase. Additionally, I have had to change the bulbs frequently and have had to repair the throttle and starter. Currently, it is in the shop due to a misfire issue that I can't seem to figure out. It's been a bit of a hassle, but I'm hopeful that it will be resolved soon.
