On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

Everytime I drive on the highway and come to a roll the engine stalls. I have been stuck on the middle lane of the highway, in the middle of intersections, and many other places that are less than ideal. It is a crankshaft position sensor from what I can tell. When the car is under a load, the sensor is positioned at an extreme angle and when the rpms get low the rpms fluctuates and it stalls. The extreme angle is an optimization that cadillac made in an effort to get better fuel economy. It appears that the only way to fix the issue is to get a tune that prevents the sensor from reaching that extreme angle. The dealer pretends to know nothing, yet I find many other people who experience the issue so it would be in their database as a known issue. There are no warnings lights that comes on. The car will just shut down. The only way to prevent the car stalling is to drop to neutral and rev the engine while coming to a stop. Keep reving and when the light goes green drop it to Drive. Its unacceptable and a risk not only to myself but others on the road. I will file a defect petition with a lawyer so this is paid attention to . Please help.

So, why is it that certified mechanics at a Cadillac Dearlership couldn't diagnose this problem. It's unfuckinbeliveable that any Dearlership, Pepboys or any other Auto Repair Shop wouldn't explore all options before saying " We can't find nothing wrong" totally inexcusable..

This is my first American-made vehicle in 15 years and I am absolutely loving my new Escalade! It has a wonderful ride and most of the features that I wanted. Although I wish it had Bluetooth, come on GM! The exterior styling is fantastic, with just the right amount of chrome. The interior is much improved and is wonderful for an American-made SUV. While GM still has plenty to learn from Lexus, BMW and Infiniti, I am thoroughly impressed with my new Escalade.

The 2007 Escalade is an amazing SUV that stands out from the rest. With 403 Hp, it outperforms other luxury SUVs like Hummer and Lincoln. I absolutely love this vehicle! Cadillac did an excellent job of making the SUV more compact while still improving its agility and ride quality. If you're in the market for a luxury SUV, I highly recommend the 2007 Escalade!

I have to say, the new Escalade designed by Cadillac and GM is truly impressive. We have the ESV model and it is unmatched by any other truck. I have nothing but great things to say about it! Despite its size, it accelerates and drives smoothly, almost like a muscle car. The 6.2 liter V8 engine sounds amazing from the outside and loves to rev. Although it may be a bit thirsty around town, it's important to keep in mind that we're talking about an 8-passenger, 3-ton vehicle. On the highway, the 6-speed auto is actually pretty good on gas. If you're in need of space and looking for a top-notch SUV, there's nothing that compares to the Escalade. I highly recommend getting one!

I still have my '04 Escalade and I'm looking forward to selling my '07 model soon so I can enjoy comfortable seats again. I'm a bit disappointed that GM switched to less comfortable seats in the newer models. After just an hour of driving, I start to feel tired and the noise from the engine, road, wind, and interior can be overwhelming. The Cashmere interior is a bit too bright and may not hold up well over time. It's also missing some convenient features like flat folding 3rd row seats and a telescoping steering wheel. While the exterior styling has improved, the interior feels a bit too sleek and lacks personality. The engine sounds impressive, but could use a bit more power. Overall, the truck feels a bit cheap.

I have owned this car for less than a year and unfortunately, I have had to take it for service more times than any other car I have owned. The brakes have been serviced seven times already and it seems like there is always something else that goes wrong. Considering the price, I am disappointed with the amount of time I have to spend getting the car serviced. I initially got it for my children, but it has not been a good fit. I miss my 5 series. While the interior and exterior look great, I would prefer to be able to drive the car without any issues. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Cadillac has done a great job restyling the Escalade, but unfortunately, they still have some work to do to compete with their Japanese counterparts. The exterior is stunning, and the interior looks good too, but looks can be deceiving. The storage room in the back is limited, and the rear windows only open part way, while the sideboard windows do not open at all. The upgraded stereo is decent, but there is still room for improvement, and little things like the cup holders are not up to the standard you would expect from a vehicle at this price. Gas mileage to date is not great, around 11-12 miles per gallon in mixed (city/highway) traffic. There are a few rattles in the vehicle as well. All things considered, I would have expected more from a vehicle at this price.

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my thoughts on the Escalade after test driving multiple models over the past month. While the exterior is absolutely stunning, I felt that the interior could use some improvement. I noticed that the center console felt a bit shaky when I opened it, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, I didn't find the power of the engine to be as impressive as I was hoping. Overall, I think the Escalade has some great features, but there is definitely room for improvement. Hey there! I wanted to share my experience with you regarding the Escalade. Over the past 7 years, I've invested over 40 thousand dollars in it. I've had to replace the transmission twice, the top end of the engine, the shocks and compressor three times, motor mounts, and the hubs four times. I've also had to replace the headlights six times, and unfortunately, they still don't work. The TV's in the truck broke, the back-up camera broke twice, and the windshield wipers go on and off by themselves. The door handles broke three times, the heated seats don't work, and the heater hoses broke three times. I did the ball joints four times and the u/joints twice. However, I must say that the Escalade is a gas guzzler, so if you do consider buying one, make sure to buy stocks in OPEC. Despite all of this, I still have a soft spot for the Escalade. I hope this helps you make an informed decision!
