The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

HE CONCLUDED THAT THE BATTERY WAS DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED IT ALLOWING US TO CONTINUE OUR TRIP. UNFORTUNATELY THIS EXACT SAME ISSUE RECURRED ON JUNE 21, 2014 WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS IN THE DALLAS, TX AREA AND AGAIN, TWICE, DRIVING AT APPROX. 40 MPH IN FRISCO, TX ON JUNE 23, 2014. THE LOCAL DEALER SERVICED THE VEHICLE ON THOSE DATES AND REPLACED THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. - Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator with an alternate one, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on February 25, 2021. Second notification letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owner notification letters were mailed to 40 VIN owners on May 11, 2021. A second owner notification letter was mailed to all other owners on January 24, 2022. - Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado HD, Silverado LD, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra LD, Sierra HD, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the ignition lock actuator may bind, making turning the key difficult or causing the ignition to get stuck in the "Start" position.
- Consequence: If stuck in the "Start" position, the ignition may suddenly snap back into the "Accessory" position, causing a loss of engine, steering, and braking power, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. If the vehicle is in a crash, the air bags may not deploy, increasing the risk of occupant injury.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the ignition lock housing, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on February 12, 2015. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac), 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). I've always loved the Escalades. They're big, comfy, quick, safe, smooth, good looking, and spacious. It's a great car! However, there are a few issues that I've encountered. The chrome on the car was unfortunately destroyed by Magnesium Chloride. When we took it to trade it in for a new one, the dealer only offered us $18000, which was lower than we expected. Despite this, the vehicle runs great and is probably one of the best running eight-year-old Escalades ever, with only 77000 miles on it. I also had an issue with the radio, which freezes and glitches a lot. The quality of materials could be better, as the dashboard and door panels are made of plastic. Overall, I still adore this car and highly recommend it.

I just switched from a fully loaded BMW 745Li...I thought the BMW had it all. But this Cadillac is amazing! I love the handling, the ride, the comfort, and especially the retractable assist steps. It's very nice!

This Caddy (ESV) is amazing! The sheer presence is so impressive that everyone who sees it loves it. When you quickly accelerate, the exhaust reminds me of the race cars in 'Days of Thunder'. What a sound! It's almost better than my Vet. When you enter the car at night, the lighting, both inside and out, is unbelievable. Everything about this vehicle exudes luxury. I have read some complaints about the transmission, but I personally like the way it works. It tends to quickly go to the next gear. You have to go nearly 80 MPH to get to 2K PRM - the engine is just amazing. Still, if you're in a hurry, you just need to punch it and it takes off. Like the TV ad says, if the Escalade had a bathroom, I'd live in it!

Cadillac is really on a roll, and the Escalade is no exception. It boasts great looks, lots of luxury features, 403 hp, and an exhaust note that sounds like a muscle car. I never thought I would buy an SUV, but the Escalade sold itself. What surprised me most was the power and exhaust note, which are both quick (for an SUV) and sound great. The handling also really impressed me, as it handles like a much smaller car. The only negatives I could find are the old-school tilt-only steering wheel, the third-row seat (which lacks room and power-folding), and a light in the rear of the car that rattles. However, the GPS in this car is absolutely fantastic and is the highlight of an already great interior. Overall, it's just a fantastic SUV!

We bought the Escalade used, but it feels like new. It's the finest vehicle we've ever owned and style really matters to us. We took a chance on Cadillac since we found the Sequoia to be unattractive, and we have not been disappointed.

The looks of the Escalade are truly eye-catching, and the powerful 6.2 motor sounds amazing when turned on. However, there are some downsides to consider, such as the horrible fuel mileage (barely 11mpg), plastic door handles (which could be improved), and the fact that the rear windows only go down halfway (which can be inconvenient for rear passengers). Additionally, some passengers may find it difficult to exit the rear seats without adjusting them, and the third-row seating is not very spacious. Lastly, the plastic (fake) wood grain interior panels are prone to scratches and can look unappealing. Overall, I do like my Escalade, but I do wish I had purchased an ESV instead, which has full rear doors (with windows that roll all the way down) and more legroom in the third-row seating, as well as additional cargo space.

This car has some mechanical issues that need to be addressed. As a GM enthusiast, I have experienced some problems with both the engine and transmission, despite the fact that it is a new combo. JD Powers has rated it a 2 star for mechanical quality, which is a fair assessment. However, I believe that with some improvements, this car has the potential to be a great vehicle. It is important to note that some of the positive reviews are based on initial impressions, and not on long-term use. As a loyal GM customer, I hope to see improvements in the future.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my 08 Escalade. While it drives okay, it's not the best around corners, and the auto box sometimes struggles to keep up with the engine. Unfortunately, the build quality was a downfall for me and ultimately led me to switch to a LR3 Land Rover, which I find much nicer to drive.

It's great to have a car that looks sharp and is enjoyable to drive. However, it seems like the engineers may have missed the mark when it comes to the interior design. Unfortunately, the rear pass. windows don't roll down all the way, which can be frustrating. Additionally, there are no pockets in the back side doors and no storage, which can make it difficult to keep things organized. The seats are also quite uncomfortable, which can make long drives a bit of a challenge. Despite these issues, there are some positives to this car. For example, it has a third row of seats, which can be useful for larger families. However, it's worth noting that the cup holders for the third row are only on the left side of the car. Lastly, there is a water leak in the sunroof, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, while there are some drawbacks to this car, it still has some great features that make it worth considering.

This is my first caddy and my last. However, I must say that it looks great and has tons of room. Although it drives like a mack truck and feels like something is going to break when you go over a bump, it's not all bad. I sure miss my range Rover, but I'm grateful that I never went off-road.
