2009 Bmw X6 problems
The BMW X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV by German automaker BMW. The BMW X6 is the originator of the sports activity coupé (SAC), referencing its sloping rear roof design. It combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, all-wheel drive and all-weather ability, large wheels and tires) with the stance of a coupé (styling featuring a sloping roof). It is built in BMW's North American plant in Greer, South Carolina alongside the BMW X5, whose platform it shares. Prior to the release of the X7, the X6 was considered a flagship SUV for BMW.
The first generation (E71) was released for sale in April 2008 for the 2008 model year, while the second-generation X6 (F16) was launched at the Paris Motor Show in 2014. The third-generation X6 was revealed in July 2019.
BMW Concept X6 (2007)
The concept model debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show and the production X6 officially debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and Montreal International Auto Show. While slightly longer and wider than the X5, it is significantly lower and seated initially only four, and since 2011, optionally five.

I CALLED THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON MY VEHICLE. THE DEALER ALSO TOLD ME TO CALL ANOTHER DEALER AS THEY MAY HAVE BETTER INFORMATION. I REPLACE THEM AND I FOUND OUT THAT MICHELIN IS NOT GIVEN A WARRANTY FOR TIRES INSTALLED ON BMWX6 2009 EVEN THAT ON THE OWNER MANUAL IS A STATEMENT THAT THE TIRES ARE WARRANTED BY THEIR MANUFACTURER. WHY A BRAND NEW CAR IS SOLD WITH TIRES WHICH ARE NOT UNDER WARRANTY? NOT TAKING A CHANCE TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT I REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES AT MY COST OF OVER $1700 AND BMW IS NOT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE TIRES ARE WEARING OUT TOO SOON AND TO INFORM ALL THE OWNERS OF A POTENTIAL DANGER DRIVING THE CAR WITH TIRES WHICH ARE NOT EVEN WARRANTED BY THEIR MANUFACTURER. *TR

In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, these inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling.
- Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger front air bag module, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 2018. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

I waited for a whole year to upgrade my car from X5 to X6. During the weekends, my family and I love to drive long distances and we had a great time with our X5. However, driving the X6 is a truly exciting experience. Our car is an xDrive 35d with a 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 293 HP. I feel very comfortable and secure while driving it, thanks to its advanced safety features and control systems. We love its unique exterior design that sets it apart from other cars, as well as its excellent interior design. In conclusion, waiting for a year was definitely worth it.

I have every available option on my X6, and I absolutely love it! This car is not your typical SUV; it is a Sports Activity Coupe that can comfortably fit a foursome (whether it's for golf, tennis, skiing, or a date) and all the necessary equipment (clubs, rackets, skis, and luggage). My grandson even enjoys watching movies in the back seat! Recently, I had to take my car to BMW Collision after rear-ending a Cadillac sedan. I was impressed by the car's collision safety behavior, as it only sustained frontal damage while the Cadillac was unfortunately demolished. The repair work done by BMW looks amazing!

I have an X5 and I'm quite happy with it. I recently took a test drive of the X6-35i and I was really impressed with how it handled curves and uphill acceleration, as well as the interior design. It's definitely a pricy toy, but it's also a lot of fun. The only downside is that it has less room than the X5, but if you're looking for a thrilling driving experience, it's definitely worth considering.

I've owned or driven a range of xDrive BMWs, but this one is truly exceptional. The fit and finish is above and beyond BMW's already high standards, with a handcrafted feel on the inside and a futuristic look on the outside. I opted for the 5.0 V-8 engine and it did not disappoint - the roar alone was worth it. While it may not have much cargo space, this car is perfect for a single person looking for a fun and exciting ride. I highly recommend the Sport and Technology packages, as well as the Logic 7 premium sound system. Overall, this car is a must-have for anyone looking for a thrilling driving experience.

Having owned both the Range Rover Supersport supercharged and Audi q7, I can confidently say that this car surpasses them in every aspect of driving pleasure and fun, without compromising on serious off-roading capabilities. The twin turbo is highly responsive and returns good mileage, while the handling is simply incredible for a car of this type. Space is also very generous, with even a 6'4

I understand that the car design is eye-catching, but I believe that more attention should have been given to practicality. The rear window is difficult to see out of, which makes reversing a potentially dangerous task. Although the car has a rearview camera, the display warns drivers not to rely solely on it. Additionally, the steep drop-off of the front fenders hampers side vision, making it difficult for drivers to see the outboard edge of the car. While the liftgate has two opening heights, getting past the lower one can be fiddly at best, and loading anything into the shallow slit opening requires a long reach. Furthermore, the tires are super expensive. While the car may attract attention, I believe that it would be better if it were more user-friendly.

It seems quite expensive. While the Acura MDX may not be as fast, it is a better car and costs half as much. I hope to grow to like it, but right now I can't help but think that I could have gotten more for so much less!

Although I love this car, it was disappointing to experience oil leaks at 85,000 miles. However, it is important to note that this is a common problem with BMWs. The cost to fix the issue is $5000. In my professional opinion, it may be wise to consider selling the car before incurring further expenses on repairs.
