1998 Acura Cl problems
The Acura CL is a midsize grand tourer manufactured by Honda's Acura brand from 1996 until 2003. The CL is often thought to have been a replacement for the Acura Legend coupe. It was not directly related to the first gen TL either, a Japanese-built model which replaced the Vigor and had a longitudinal engine layout. With the advent of the second generation TL in 1999, the transverse engined CL became more precisely a TL coupe. All Acura CLs were built at Honda's plant in East Liberty, Ohio, which is also the plant that builds the Honda Civic. The second generation TL and the Honda Accord upon which the Acura CLs were based, are built at Honda's plant in Marysville, Ohio, a few miles away from East Liberty. The CL was the first Acura to be built in the United States.
Following the end of the 1995 model year, the Acura Legend coupe disappeared from Acura's lineup when the sedan version was renamed the Acura RL. The CL was not a direct replacement for the Legend coupe as it no longer shared the same chassis as its sedan counterpart, and was not made in Japan, unlike the RL. Because Acura no longer had a suitable Legend coupe replacement, they created this vehicle. With the release of the TL and 3.5RL in 1996, Acura transitioned to alphanumeric and/or two-letter names, naming of all of its vehicles (with the exception of the Integra which kept its name until the 2001 model year). Although the CL was considered to be a satisfactory vehicle, it never gained traction or popularity like the other Acura coupes.
First generation (1996–1999)
For the 1997 model year, early models having been licensed as 1996 models, the CL was offered with either a 3.0 L J30 V6 producing 200 hp (149 kW), or a 145 hp (108 kW) 2.2 L (F22B1) I4 engine. The 1998 and 1999 models featured a 2.3 L 4-cylinder (F23A1) engine with 150 hp (112 kW).
Both the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder CL offered a "Premium" trim level which offered leather upholstery (with heated front seats in the 3.0), and in the 3.0, an Acura/Bose stereo. For the 1999 model year, the "Premium" trim level was eliminated, and leather upholstery became standard on all models, as was a trunk cargo net. The alloy wheel design was different on the 3.0 for each year, moving from a five-spoke design (MY 1997) to a seven-spoke design (MY 1998), to a different multi-spoke alloy design for the 1999 model year. The 2.2/2.3 CL used a six-spoke design for 1997, then moved to a 5-spoke double-prong design for 1998 and 1999. The 4-cylinder model had an option for a 5-speed manual transmission. The CL also featured galvanized body panels which helps to prevent rust.

Common 1998 Acura Cl problems
The 1998 Acura CL has had several issues reported by owners, including recalls, complaints, and common problems. The following are some of the most common problems with the 1998 Acura CL:
- EGR Valve and IAC Valve Problems: One owner of a 1998 Acura CL reported that their car was bogging out when taking off, sounding like it wanted to die. The owner had replaced the EGR valve and cleaned the IAC valve, but the problem persisted. The car then pulled up an EGR valve code and a MAP sensor code. It is unclear whether replacing the MAP sensor would solve the problem, but it is a possible solution.
- VTEC V6 3.0 Noise: Another owner of a 1998 Acura CL reported a noise coming from the bottom of the motor, specifically the VTEC V6 3.0. The noise occurs in park and reverse but disappears when shifting into drive. While some people have suggested that the problem may be with the engine and require a rebuilt engine, others have suggested that it could fall under the responsibility of the transmission shop where the owner warrantied the transmission. A compression check on all six cylinders may help determine the cause of the noise.
- Recalls: The 1998 Acura CL has had several recalls, including recalls for tires, steering, fuel system, suspension, automatic transmission, and electrical system. These recalls apply to the make, model, and year of the car and should be fixed as soon as possible.
- Electrical System Issues: The 1998 Acura CL has had several electrical system issues, including problems with the ignition switch, anti-theft control module, and emission control system. These issues can affect the car's performance and safety and should be addressed as soon as possible.
In conclusion, the 1998 Acura CL has had several common problems, including transmission issues, EGR valve and IAC valve problems, VTEC V6 3.0 noise, recalls, and electrical system issues. Owners of this car should be aware of these problems and take appropriate action to address them.
Are Acura CL reliable?
The Acura CL Coupe is a reliable, solid vehicle. While I have had to fix a few things on the car (the ignition switch was recalled for example), overall, I have had to do very little to maintain this car. My biggest complaint is the mediocre gas mileage, but it is a V6 to be fair.
Does Acura CL have VTEC?
For the 2000 model year, the Acura CL's sibling, the TL, was redesigned. The CL, however, was never produced as a 2000 model and instead in March 2000 the completely redesigned Acura CL was released as a 2001 model featuring a 3.2 L SOHC VTEC J-series V6.
When did they stop making Acura CL?
2003
The Acura CL is a midsize grand tourer manufactured by Honda's Acura brand from 1996 until 2003.
Where was the Acura CL made?
Marysville, Ohio
Designed and developed in America, the CL accompanied the TL sedan as the first Acura vehicles to be manufactured at Honda's Marysville, Ohio production plant. Four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system, 16-inch wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and automatic climate control were standard on the coupe.

STEERING,SUSPENSION PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2015-04-16
- VIN: 19UYA3147WL
- Components: STEERING,SUSPENSION
- Summary: DRIVING INTO WORK ON THURSDAY THE 16TH OF APRIL, 2015 I WAS ROUNDING A DESIGNATED U-TURN AT APPROXIMATELY 3-5MPH. AS I WAS MIDWAY THROUGH THE TURN, MY CAR DROPPED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND A SCRAPPING NOISE STARTED TO SOUND. MY CAR STOPPED ABRUPTLY AND A GRINDING NOISE MADE ME WEARY TO MOVE. BECOMING STATIONARY, I WAS SIDEWAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH CARS APPROACHING. I PROCEEDED TO SLOWLY INCH MY CAR OUT OF THE ROAD AND INTO A SAFE LOCATION WITH THE GRINDING NOISE. WHEN I LIFTED MY CAR UP USING THE JACK IN THE TRUNK I COULD VISIBLY SEE MY LOWER BALL JOINT HAD COME OUT OF THE SOCKET AND THE SUSPENSION ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS COLLAPSED. IF THIS OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY HALF A MILE BEFORE THE LOCATION OF THE INCIDENT I WOULD HAVE BEEN DOING 70MPH ON HIGHWAY 75. I AM LUCKY THAT THIS COMPONENT FAILURE DID NOT RESULT IN THE WHEEL BUCKLING UNDER THE PRESSURE OF THE BREAK. ALSO I AM LUCKY THERE WERE NO MORE THAN A FEW CARS APPROACHING ME WHEN THIS OCCURRED (T-BONE SITUATION). I HAVE BEEN ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE TO CONFIRM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 99V069000 HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND IS FOR THIS EXACT SAME CONSEQUENCE, WHICH IT SEEMS TO BE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MAY BE CATEGORIZED AS A WEAR COMPONENT BUT THE BALL JOINT ON ANY CAR SHOULD NEVER COME OUT OF PLACE OR FAIL AT ALL. I HAVE RECENTLY HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER ITEM THAT WAS ALREADY RECALLED AND REPAIRED DONE AGAIN DUE TO THE RECALL NOT HOLDING UP. THE ISSUE CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 02V120000 WAS WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH CONTACTS SPREADING RESULTING IN A STALL CONDITION AND IN COME CASES A NO-START CONDITION POST STALL. THE ISSUE WAS ADDRESSED AND JUST RE-COMPLETED IN THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH SO IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE FIXES THAT ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED BY ACURA SEEM TO BANDAGE THE PROBLEM INSTEAD OF A ROBUST FIX THAT WILL NOT PRESENT THE ISSUE IN THE FUTURE. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED ACURA WHOM STATED THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2014-02-27

- Summary: WE HAD TO REPLACE OUR TRANSMISSION AFTER 70000MILES, WE HAD TO REPLACE A DRIVERS SIDE ELECTRIC WINDOW TWICE, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALWAYS STAYS ON NOTHING WRONG, CAR STALLED GOING 45MPHS FIXED THAT PROBLEM OTHER LIGHTS NOW STAY ON NO MATTER IF NOTHING IS WRONG, THIS CAR ISN'T WORTH THE MONEY TOO MANY PROBLEMS AND THEY TELL ME MY VIN NUMBER DOESN'T FIT THE RECALLS BUT WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS, I'M GOING TO START RAISING A STINK IT'S RIDICULOUS, *TR
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2012-10-02
- VIN: 19UYA2240WL
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary: AT 55 MPH THE CAR ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND ALL POWER WAS LOST. CONTACTING THE COMPANY ABOUT A RECALL THAT I SAW ON THE INTERNET THE COMPANY SAID THAT THE RECALL WAS ALREADY COMPLETED ON MY CAR. I DID NOT REMEMBER IT BEING DONE BUT TOLD THEM THAT THE PROBLEM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OWNING THE CAR IN 344,000 MILES HAS NOW STARTED. THEY SAID THEY COULD FIX IT BUT COULD NOT BE COVERED BY THE RECALL. I DROVE TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE PROBLEM CONFIRMED AND REPAIRED THE NEXT DAY. THEY SAID IT WAS THE ELECTRICAL PART OF IGNITION SWITCH, BUT THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE IT AND I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE CAR BACK AND MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WHEN THE PART WAS IN STOCK.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2012-10-01
- VIN: 19UYA2240WL
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE
- Summary: THE CAR, WHILE DRIVING SHUT DOWN AND LOST ALL POWER WHILE BEING DRIVEN AT 55 MPH, I CHECKED THE INTERNET FOR ANYONE ELSE HAVING THAT ISSUE AND FOUND THE RECALL ON MY CAR FOR IGNITION SWITCH, I CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THAT MY CAR ALREADY HAD THE RECALL PERFORMED BUT WOULD LOOK AT IT AND CONFIRM THE PROBLEM. I DROVE THE CAR OVER, WHILE DOING SO IT DIED ON ME AGAIN. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THEY THOUGHT IT WAS THE SWITCH AND SINCE IT WAS ALREADY BEEN RECALLED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE $500.00 TO REPLACE IT. ( I WOULD THINK THAT SINCE IT APPEARED THAT THE "FIX" DID NOT WORK THAT IT SHOULD BE REPLACED AGAIN.) THE DEALER THEN TOLD ME THAT SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PART IN STOCK THAT I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND GAVE ME MY CAR TO DRIVE HOME. (NOW THERE'S A REAL SAFETY ISSUE.) SINCE I AM CURRENTLY NOT WORKING I DECIDED TO REPLACE THE SWITCH MYSELF AND UPON OPENING UP THE STEERING COLUMN I FOUND THAT THE 2 BOLTS HOLDING THE KEY LOCK TO THE COLUMN ARE A SAFETY TYPE " PAN HEAD " THAT CANT BE REMOVED EASILY. THE FUNNY THING IS I REALLY FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THE DEALERSHIP WOULD USE THIS TYPE OF BOLT TO REPLACE A RECALL ITEM. THERE ARE NO EASY WAYS TO GET AT THE SPOT TO RE-INSTALL THEM. IF THE MANUFACTURER RECALLED THE ITEM FOR THIS ISSUE IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN WITH THE RECALL SWITCH IN IT. *TR

- Summary: SMOKE WAS OBSERVED COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AS THE SMOKE INTENSIFIED. THE ENSUING FIRE DESTROYED THE VEHICLE. DROPS OF A PETROLEUM PRODUCT ON THE PAVEMENT LEADING TO THE VEHICLE INDICATE THAT A LEAKING FUEL LINE MAY HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE. *KB
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2009-11-21
- VIN: 19UYA2253WL
- Components: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
- Summary: RUNAWAY CAR: I BACKED OUT OF A BUSINESS PARKING SPACE AND BARELY TAPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR TO MOVE FORWARD. I KNOW I HARDLY TOUCHED THE ACCELERATOR BECAUSE I WAS GOINIG TO MAKE AN IMMEDIATE TURN ONTO A SIDE STREEET WITH A STOP SIGN. AS SOON AS I TAPPED THE GAS PEDAL, THE CAR WENT FORWARD WITH FULL POWER. MY FOOT WENT TO THE BRAKE INSTANTLY BUT THE BRAKES DID NOTHING. MY NIECE AND I FLEW ACROSS THE SIDE STREET, THROUGH A FOOT HIGH CONCRETE BARRIER (BREAKING IT), A HEDGE THEN IN ANOTHER BUSINESS'S PARKING LOT WHERE THE CAR CAME TO AN INSTANT STOP. THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED AND IT WAS OVER. WE WERE NEVER SO SCARED IN OUR LIVES. WE STOPPED JUST SORT OF GOING INTO A STREET FULL OF TRAFFIC. THE INSURANCE COMPANY WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED BECAUSE ACURA'S ARE NOT LISTED WITH ANY RECALLS. MY FLOOR MATS WERE NOT IN BECAUSE I JUST HAD THE CAR DETAILED SO THEY WERE DAMP. THERE WAS NO MIX UP RE THE BRAKE AND ACCEERATOR PETALS BECAUSE I MOVED MY FOOT TO ANOTHER PETAL. I DON'T KNOW IF THE ACCERATOR WAS DOWN ALL THE WAY, THERE WAS NO TIME TO SEE AS I WAS BUSY TRYING TO STOP THE CAR. IT IS MY BELIEF THIS IS AN ELECTRONIC PROBLEM. *TR

1998 Acura Cl recalls
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued 5 recalls for different components of the 1998 Acura Cl.
- Manufacturer: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
- Components: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE
- Summary: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 1998 Acura 2.2CL, 1998-1999 Acura 2.3CL, 1998-1999 Acura 3.0CL, 2001 Acura 3.2CL and Acura MDX, 1998-2000 Honda Accord Coupe, Accord Sedan, Civic Sedan, Odyssey and Acura 3.5RL, 1999-2000 Acura 3.2TL, 1996-2000 Civic Coupe, 1997-2000 CR-V, 1997-1998 EV Plus, and 1998-1999 Isuzu Oasis vehicles. These vehicles were equipped with Non-Azide Driver air bag Inflators (NADI) and do not contain phase stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. Due to a manufacturing issue, the NADI inflators may absorb moisture, causing the inflators to rupture or the air bag cushion to underinflate.
- Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment, an inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants. An underinflated air bag cushion may not properly protect the occupant. These scenarios increase the risk of serious injury or death.
- Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the driver frontal air bag inflator, and replace it if necessary, with an inflator of a different design, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2020. Owners may contact American Honda's Customer Support & Campaign Center at 1-888-234-2138 or Isuzu customer service at 1-800-255-6727.
- Manufacturer: AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH
- Summary: ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES AND MINI VANS, THE IGNITION SWITCH MAY WEAR EXCESSIVELY AND PREVENT PROPER INTERLOCK OPERATION, MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO TURN THE IGNITION KEY TO THE "OFF" POSITION AND REMOVE THE KEY WITHOUT SHIFTING THE TRANSMISSION TO "PARK."
- Consequence: IF THE VEHICLE OPERATOR DOES NOT SHIFT TO "PARK" BEFORE REMOVING THE KEY AND FAILS TO ENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE, THE VEHICLE COULD ROLL AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL PERFORM AN INSPECTION PROCEDURE THAT DETERMINES THE AMOUNT OF CYLINDER BODY WEAR. IF SIGNIFICANT WEAR IS INDICATED, THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE CYLINDER BODY, COLLAR, AND LATCH PLATE. IF NO SIGNS OF WEAR ARE INDICATED, DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE LATCH PLATE WITH A REDESIGNED PART. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 8, 2003. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009 OR ACURA AT 1-800-382-2238.
- Manufacturer: AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH
- Summary: ON CERTAIN SEDANS, COUPES, HATCHBACKS, AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, ELECTRICAL CONTACTS IN THE IGNITION SWITCH CAN DEGRADE DUE TO THE HIGH ELECTRICAL CURRENT PASSING THROUGH THE SWITCH WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED.
- Consequence: WORN CONTACTS COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WITHOUT WARNING, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JUNE 14, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009 OR ACURA AT 1-800-382-2238.
- Manufacturer: AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.
- Components: SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT
- Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. CERTAIN VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH BALL JOINTS THAT CAN PREMATURELY WEAR OUT AND, IN THE WORSE CASE, THE BALL JOINT WOULD SEPARATE CAUSING THE FRONT SUSPENSION TO COLLAPSE.
- Consequence: THIS CONDITION WOULD RESULT IN VEHICLE DECELERATION AND A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. ALSO STEERING CONTROLLABILITY WOULD BE REDUCED.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER BALL JOINTS.
- Manufacturer: AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.
- Components: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:PARK/NEUTRAL START INTERLOCK SWITCH
- Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES (HONDA ACCORD SEDANS MANUFACTURED FROM SEPTEMBER 18, 1997 TO JANUARY 10, 1998; COUPES MANUFACTURED DECEMBER 11, DECEMBER 15, 1997, AND JANUARY 5, 1998; ACURA 2.3CL MANUFACTURED OCTOBER 22, 1997 THROUGH JANUARY 7, 1998). DURING MANUFACTURING, THE CASTING DIE CAUSED AN IRREGULARITY IN THE RIGHT-SIDE TRANSMISSION COVER. THIS IRREGULARITY CAN LIMIT THE MOVEMENT OF THE PARKING PAWL ACTUATION LEVEL AND PREVENT ADEQUATE ENGAGEMENT OF THE PARKING GEAR PAWL. THIS DOES NOT COMPLY WITH FMVS NO. 114, "THEFT PROTECTION."
- Consequence: THIS CONDITION CAN CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO ROLL DOWN AN INCLINE WHEN THE TRANSMISSION IS LOCKED IN "PARK," INCREASING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A COLLAR ON THE TRANSMISSION PARKING PAWL TO ENSURE PROPER MOVEMENT OF THE ACTUATION LEVER.

I'm glad to hear that you've had a mostly positive experience with your car! It's unfortunate that you had some trouble with the passenger-side windows attenuator, but it's great to hear that it was covered under warranty the first time. It sounds like this car is a reliable and dependable choice, with some sporty features and great torque to help you out of tight spots. Plus, it's good to know that it's inexpensive to maintain. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this car!

It's great to hear that you're enjoying your car! The Yokohama AVID V4's seem to be a great choice for handling all weather conditions, and it's awesome to hear that it's a blast to drive on dry roads with the 5 speed transmission. Thanks for sharing your positive experience!

Back in 2003, I purchased a '98 Acura CL for around $13,000 with only 33,000 miles on it. I drove it for over a decade until 2016 when it finally gave out at 315,000 miles. Although I could have had it fixed, it was at the point where parts were falling off as I drove and my heated seat no longer worked. Despite this, I still miss that car to this day. It was a joy to drive, comfortable, and had all the features I wanted, such as heated seats and side mirror defrosters. I also loved that it was unique, as there are very few of these on the road. It's worth noting that these cars have a reputation for transmission issues, and I did have to have mine rebuilt at 180,000 miles. However, my mechanic felt it was worth it because the engine was in great condition and my '98 was built better than more recent Acuras. For me, it was definitely worth it, as I got another 135,000 miles out of it (and it only cost me about $2200 10 years ago), not to mention 8 years without car payments. The only downside was the 2 doors, which made it difficult to transport large items. However, I would buy one of these cars again in a heartbeat, as long as it had less than 100,000 miles on it.

I bought my 98 cl, 2.3, 5-speed with 130k four years ago. Since then, I've taken great care of it, doing the recommended top end service, brake pads all around, and a set of tires. It's amazing to see that it now has 208k on the odometer and it's still going strong! I have no doubt that it will go at least another 200k. It's been a while and my zippy coupe is still hanging tough, pushing 250,000 miles on the odometer. Even though its clearcoat is beginning to peel and it burns a little oil now, I'm confident that this coupe will go 1,000,000 miles. Keep on truckin'!

This car is and will always be my first love. The ride is incredibly smooth and it handles well for an expensive Honda. Anywhere you drive it will feel like a great cruise. It also has some nice juice/kick to it. She is built to last, taking me through everything except for the transmission, which I've had to replace twice. I went through a snowstorm driving through Yosemite, Reno, and the Sierras in a span of 2 days (long story) and she never broke down on me during or even after the trip. I had her at 35k and drove her to 185k in 7 years. Even though I have a new G37 coupe, I still won't give up my CL. It is that great of a ride.

I bought this car with 35,000 miles on it and it was great for the first few years. However, I have had some issues with it such as wheel bearings, alternator, battery, ABS sensor, passenger side power window, muffler, and having to change the lights (head/brake/aux) frequently. Additionally, I have noticed a light knocking sound occasionally and the tires lose pressure regularly which can be a bit of a hassle. Unfortunately, my new alternator is causing my panel and headlights to flicker while idling. Despite these issues, I still believe this is a good car. I take good care of it by changing the oil and maintaining it regularly. I may have just been unlucky. However, I am considering trying a Toyota or Lexus next and hope to have better luck.
