As of 2023, the full-size Land Cruiser was available in many markets. Exceptions include the United States (since 2021), Canada (since 1996), Malaysia (which receives the Lexus LX instead), Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Brazil, and most of Europe. In Europe, the only countries where the full-size Land Cruiser is officially sold are Gibraltar, Moldova, Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine. The Land Cruiser is hugely popular in the Middle East, Russia, and Australia, and also in Africa where it is used by farmers, the construction industry, non-governmental and humanitarian organizations, the United Nations, national armies (often the pickup version), and irregular armed groups who turn them into "technicals" by mounting machine guns in the rear. In August 2019, cumulative global sales of the Land Cruiser family surpassed 10 million units.

- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2003-2006 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470, 2005-2006 Toyota Tundra and Sequoia, 2004-2006 Toyota 4Runner and Lexus GX470 vehicles equipped with side curtain-shield-air bags. The affected vehicles have an air bag control module that may be improperly programmed, causing the side curtain-shield-air bags to deploy inadvertently.
- Consequence: If the side curtain-shield-air bags deploy unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of occupant injury.
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the air bag control module with one that has improved programming, free of charge. The recall began on December 1, 2016. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-271-9371. Toyota's number for this recall is G0C and GLB.

This is definitely the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Although I have owned Mercedes, Jeeps, Hondas and Toyotas in the past, I have never owned a Land Cruiser before. The other day, I was at an outdoor festival and we parked in the grass. It started to pour down rain and soaked everything. When we were leaving, there were lots of SUVs which were spinning their wheels in mud and grass, but we had no problem in the grassy field or going through the mud. The best part was that I didn't even have to switch to 4-wheel drive since it is in it full time. I absolutely love this vehicle.

We drove it all, but nothing came close to the fit and finish of the Land Cruiser. The ride and handling are superb, not to mention the reliability and durability. The Land Cruiser now boasts more horsepower at 275. This SUV is smooth, quiet, and solid. If you can afford it, go for it. Sure, other SUVs may have a little more room, but none can match the quality of the Land Cruiser.

I've taken it off-road and it handled like a dream, while still providing a smooth ride on the road. Plus, I've had no significant reliability issues. While I considered Land Rover products, I had concerns about their reliability. The new V8 engine provides great acceleration for this class of vehicle.

Refined, quite, smooth and powerful. Supberb fit and finish. The Cruiser is excellent on interstate or pot holes. Its confidence inspiring brakes and acceleration make it a joy to drive. As someone who has owned both a 4-wheel Ford Explorer and an all-time-4 Range Rover, I can say that while they may be technically superior today, I cannot imagine loving any vehicle like my Cruiser.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to share my experience with my 2002 Landcruiser. I absolutely love it! I did try trading it in for a 2005 BMW X5, but unfortunately, it didn't work out. The fuel gauge never worked properly and it just stopped one day. However, Toyota came to the rescue and gave me a 2006 version. Even though it wasn't the right fit for me, I'm so happy to be back in my Landcruiser. It's great on long trips, handles like a dream, and I've had absolutely no problems with it. As a single female, reliability is number one for me. Thanks for listening!
