The FSD Beta system may allow the vehicle to act unsafe around intersections, such as traveling straight through an intersection while in a turn-only lane, entering a stop sign-controlled intersection without coming to a complete stop, or proceeding into an intersection during a steady yellow traffic signal without due caution. In addition, the system may respond insufficiently to changes in posted speed limits or not adequately account for the driver's adjustment of the vehicle's speed to exceed posted speed limits.
- Consequence: FSD Beta software that allows a vehicle to exceed speed limits or travel through intersections in an unlawful or unpredictable manner increases the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Tesla will release an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 15, 2023. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-23-00-001.

After writing a bad review about my first Model X and trading it in on an X5, I ended up going back to a newer Model X. I absolutely love it and cannot imagine going back to a gas car anytime soon. Although road trips in Pennsylvania can be a bit time-consuming and require more planning compared to states like California where Superchargers are everywhere, it's a small price to pay for never having to buy gas again.
-
You are truly paving the way for the future! Once you experience driving an electric vehicle, there's simply no going back. When you drive a combustion engine again, you realize just how outdated gas vehicles are becoming. It's clear that electric vehicles are the future of transportation. I can't wait for Jeep, Landrover, and others to release their own electric models!

Hi there! I've owned my car for just three months and unfortunately, I had to have it towed to the service center due to some issues with the electronics. Despite these minor setbacks, I still love my car!
-
This car is not only fast and fun to drive, but it also offers an amazing view out the front windshield.
-
Hey there! I just wanted to let you know that in my opinion, this is the best car on the market!

When you visit the Tesla website while waiting for your car to arrive at the dealer, you'll be filled with excitement as you watch pictures and videos. During the first few weeks of owning your car, you'll be telling everyone that you have the best car in the world. However, you may encounter some issues with the high tech features. It's important to keep in mind that this is a new concept car and some issues are to be expected. Unfortunately, the service department may not provide the best experience. The appointment desk and service manager may be difficult to get through to, and wait times for appointments may be longer than expected. Despite these challenges, it's important to remember that Tesla is constantly working to improve their service. While it may not be perfect, the innovative technology and environmentally friendly features make the Tesla Model X a great choice for those who prioritize sustainability.

I was really looking forward to driving this car, especially after reading all the great reviews. Even just looking at it made me want to buy it! However, during my test drive in Texas, I was disappointed to find that the car was overly warm, despite having been cooling for 5 minutes before I got in. Although we tried to crank up the A/C, it just couldn't keep up with the August morning heat. I can only imagine how unbearable it would be if the car had been sitting in the sun all afternoon. To be fair, the car did eventually become comfortable towards the end of my 30-minute test drive. Overall, the car seemed perfect, with great acceleration, handling, and an amazing interior. I especially loved the phenomenal windshield/panoramic roof, and the second row seats that can slide and tilt forward for third row access were a great feature for my family.

About the car: While the electric part is undoubtedly impressive, the price range with options (100-120 K) that makes Tesla desirable is not competitive with other cars in that range and same style. Additionally, the cabin is not sealed at 65-70 m/h, and the tires can be noisy at that speed. The Auto Pilot feature, while promising, is currently nothing more than a dynamic cruise control. The Model X's acceleration may please certain groups of people, but it is not practical for everyday commuting, making it more of a toy to enjoy and impress friends once in a while. In summary, the Model X is a good-looking car with a good battery, but it is too expensive for what it offers. About the service: It is not entirely clear how maintenance will be handled, and there may be a long waiting list to get a dealer loaner in case of unscheduled maintenance. The alternative would be a gas-operated car from a rent-a-car company, which may not be acceptable for the price. Our suggestion to consumers is to sleep on it until it develops into a better choice, which we are sure it will!

I love the concept of a car built by a start-up from the ground up. However, I'm disappointed that I've had some issues with my car and the service center has a 3-week wait for repairs. While I wait for backordered parts, I'm getting used to my Enterprise Ford rental. If possible, I would appreciate a full refund for my car.

When considering a car purchase, it's important to look beyond just the appearance and technology. Have you ever spent 1.5 hours filling up your car at a gas station? With their supercharging station, Tesla claims you can fully charge in just 15 minutes, but my experience has been different. Additionally, it's important to consider the cost of battery replacement after 8-10 years, as it can be quite expensive. I purchased my Model X in December 2016, but unfortunately, it has been in the shop since January 2017 due to a number of issues. These include cracked/de-laminated windshield, loud brakes, lower than expected battery life, misaligned doors, rattling seats, broken tire guard, malfunctioning heater, and more. It's important to be aware of these potential issues before making a purchase.
