Negative 1996 Suzuki X90 car reviews

  1. Ladarius Littel 2024-03-02

We've been driving the X-90 for two years now and it's been a great car for getting around the city. Finding a parking spot is never a problem! While it's not the best car for high speeds due to its high profile, we've had no major issues with it and it's been very low-maintenance. We have experienced some minor problems with the power windows being slow, but that's been the only issue. The car can be a bit bumpy on potholed streets, but that's something that can be easily fixed by changing the shocks. The gas mileage is good, although not as great as you might expect for a car of this size, averaging around 26mpg in the city.

Positive 1996 Suzuki X90 car reviews

  1. Samir Jones 2025-01-02

I bought this car brand new in 1996, fully loaded with all available options. It was driven daily by my wife for the first 120,000 miles, and then by me for the next 40,000 miles. We even used it to pull a camper for 6,000 miles and to remove stumps on our property. This car is still going strong and can pull an equipment trailer when required. Even after 13 years, the paint still shines and there are no rattles. It handles great in all types of weather and has a large trunk that can carry big loads. People still ask me where they can get one or if it's a new car when I take the T-Tops out on a sunny day with temperatures around 85 degrees. I paid cash for it in 1996, so there are no car payments to worry about. What's not to like? It's a shame they only made them for three years.

Great job on the car! It's so much fun to drive and definitely turns heads more than a Corvette.

  3. Ethan Volkman 2024-07-24

Great in Wisconsin winters! Ran like a top always. Very very dependable and cute!

  4. Devyn Rogahn 2024-07-24

The X-90 is a fun car to drive, but it needs some improvements. The engine is excessively underpowered. It would be great if the rear window and trunk could be easily removed to put in a rear fold away seat.

  5. Gene Zieme 2024-05-22

I've been the proud owner of this car for six years now and it's been trouble-free. All I've had to do is keep up with regular oil changes. I bought it when I was 16 and it's still going strong, with the glossy paint looking as good as new. It's great in the snow and perfect for dates. This SUV also gets great gas mileage and is a comfortable, light sport SUV. I absolutely love my car - it's even a bit of a chick magnet! :)
