What year 350Z is reliable?
Short and simple: Shoot for an 07-08, but don't dismay if you can't. Really solid and reliable platform. The VQ engine is nearly bulletproof, just keep the oil topped off, some can eat a wee bit of oil overtime, mainly 03-06 (DE and Rev-up DE). Trans for 03-06 have known synchro issues, but few and far between.

Great in stock form
Driving a Nissan 350Z with a stock engine is a hugely enjoyable experience. The engine isn't especially powerful, but it pulls cleanly all the way to its stock redline of 6,500 rpm, and thanks to variable valve timing, it also feels torquey lower down in the revs when you're just cruising around.

I've been enjoying my car for about 3 months now and it has been worth the wait. The design is exactly what I wanted, so I had to go after it before the redesign hits next year. The 6M is very smooth and easy to use. All the interior controls and navigation system are easily accessible and user-friendly. Although the seats are a little snug compared to a regular passenger car, they are still very comfortable. The head and legroom are excellent. Driving this car is a blast and the exhaust note is very cool.

This car offers great performance for its value, but it may not be the most practical choice due to its limited trunk space. However, if you prioritize performance over practicality, this car is definitely worth considering. The engine is fantastic and the handling is superb. While the ride may not be the most comfortable for long road trips, it is still manageable. Keep in mind that the clutch may not be to everyone's liking. With proper use, the gas mileage can be quite good, reaching up to 26 mpg in 6th gear. However, if driven aggressively, it can quickly become expensive to maintain.

I recently purchased a used car with only one previous owner and 7858 miles on the clock. It still has all of its warranties intact, which is fantastic! This car is truly amazing and blows my previous 280z out of the water. I have owned several sports cars in the past, but this one takes the cake. It is incredibly easy to drive and I can go for hours without feeling tired, thanks to the comfortable seats. The mileage is also impressive, averaging 21-24 mpg as stated in the book, but I was able to achieve 26 mpg at 75 mph. I love taking care of this car and feeling the fine lines of its design. I know it may sound silly, but I can't help it - I'm a bit of a nut case!

This vehicle is definitely a great choice when it comes to style and performance. You'll always get thumbs up when driving through towns or cities, and the body style exudes class and sportiness. The car's performance is on par with, or even surpasses, vehicles in its price range.

Congratulations on owning your car for a year without any issues! It's great to hear that you love the way it handles corners and accelerates. It's also wonderful to know that your car turns heads from the young to the old. Although you initially didn't like the Solar Orange color, it's fantastic that it has grown on you and that you've received a ton of compliments. It's clear that you've wanted this car for the past 4 years and it's great to hear that it's worth every penny. Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us!

The car can be uncomfortable to sit in for extended periods of time. The center console and door-mounted armrest are located quite low, which can be uncomfortable for your hip bones. You may find yourself having to stretch your arms out to reach the wheel. Additionally, the car can be quite bumpy on the road. However, there are other sporty cars available that offer a more comfortable ride. Have you considered a Ford Mustang GT? It has 300hp, more room, a great interior, and a better working convertible top. We switched to the Mustang and have not looked back since!
