- Summary: Tire size 265/35ZR19 driving down highway at 55 mph when tire blew out. I was able to lucklily get the shoulder and it looked like my tire was cut open with a can opener on the sidewall. The tpms sensor was working fine and they were never plugged and had plenty of tread. I sent pictures of the damage to continental that just replies they’re not warranted. If you google continental blow outs you will see tires and even recalls that look just like mine. I definitely could of been killed or killed someone else if the blowout occurred on a busy highway because I lost control

- Summary: The airbag light came on for no reason, has never come on before. No accidents, fender bender, no bumps. Shop read an error code of B1129. Checked right passenger SRS seat connections as code suggests and reset the light. Light came back on in two days. Shop says airbag may not deploy and can not determine the exact cause. could easily cost over a $1000 to fix depending on issue. Airbags should not have issues like this. Nissan already has a service campaign for the same issue on later model 350Z. Please encourage Nissan to include the 2004 model as well. From all my research into resolving this issue, I can see there are a lot of other 350Z owners affected as well. Please help us. - Summary: NISSAN IS RECALLING 204,361 MY 2007-2008 ALTIMA, ALTIMA HYBRID, 350Z, 350Z ROADSTER, MY 2008 ALTIMA COUPE, ROGUE, MY 2009 MURANO, AND INFINITI MY 2007-2008 G35 SEDAN, MY 2008 G37 COUPE AND EX35 PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS' OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (OCS) CONTROL UNITS. A VARISTOR IN THE OCS CONTROL UNIT LOCATED IN THE PASSENGER SEAT CUSHION MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED OUT OF SPECIFICATION. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THIS COULD CAUSE AN INTERRUPTION OF SIGNAL BETWEEN THE OCS AND THE AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT (ACU).
- Consequence: THIS COULD RESULT IN THE PASSENGER AIR BAG BEING SUPPRESSED WHICH COULD FAIL TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROTECTION IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL TEST THE SIGNAL BETWEEN THE OCS AND ACU SYSTEMS USING A SPECIAL TOOL TO CHECK THAT IT IS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED. IF NECESSARY, THE SEAT CUSHION (CONTAINING OCS HARDWARE) WILL BE REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE MANUFACTURED TO SPECIFICATION. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 4, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261 OR INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6200.

In September 2012, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a 2005 350Z with only 10,500 miles on the clock. I purchased it from a retiree who had kept it in a garage since day one. In the past 1.5 years, I have already added 20K miles to the odometer because I love driving it everywhere I go. Although it could be a little faster, with 300 horses, it's hard to complain. It also turns heads and I receive compliments frequently. Mine is Daytona Blue and the colour really stands out. I did replace the Bose stereo, but there's nothing else you can do to improve this car. The gas mileage in the city isn't great, around 19mpg, but I took it on a 1,500 mile trip, all highway with the AC on, and got an average of 31mpg, believe it or not.

From the exhaust note, to the slick shifter this car has it all. (As long as you have just one kid).. Even the fuel mileage is impressive with an average of 22.3 mpg and I drive this car pretty hard.

I recently purchased a used car with only one previous owner and 7858 miles on the clock. It still has all of its warranties intact, which is fantastic! This car is truly amazing and blows my previous 280z out of the water. I have owned several sports cars in the past, but this one takes the cake. It is incredibly easy to drive and I can go for hours without feeling tired, thanks to the comfortable seats. The mileage is also impressive, averaging 21-24 mpg as stated in the book, but I was able to achieve 26 mpg at 75 mph. I love taking care of this car and feeling the fine lines of its design. I know it may sound silly, but I can't help it - I'm a bit of a nut case!

I've only been driving my new Z for about two weeks and I absolutely love it! The Nogaro red is stunning and really catches the eye. The handling, performance, and acceleration are perfect, and I just know I'm going to have a blast with this car.

I purchased a used 2006 350z with only 12,000 miles on it, making it practically new. When I was searching for a car, I initially had my sights set on the WRX STI. However, after test driving both vehicles, I noticed a significant difference in handling, torque, and power with the Z. I conducted extensive research, including watching YouTube videos, before making my final decision. Ultimately, I chose the Z and have been extremely satisfied with my purchase ever since. I have made several modifications to the car, including bigger wheels, a cold intake, touch screen navigation and sound system, tinted windows, remote start, catback invidia exhaust, rear spoiler, and splitter. The car looks absolutely stunning with all of these upgrades. Driving the Z is an absolute blast, with power available at all times and exhilarating acceleration. Despite its impressive performance, the car gets surprisingly good gas mileage. My 8-year-old son loves riding in the car with me, although my wife is not a fan. I have received numerous compliments from both men and women on the car's appearance, and it always turns heads. I have never had any issues with the car, and it runs like new despite being 14 years old. I take it to the dealership for regular oil changes and have never experienced any problems. I consider the Z my weekend car, as I have a Nissan Frontier PRO 4X for my daily commute. Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase and feel complete with the Z in my life.

The 350Z was introduced to the US market as a true sports car with a 3.5 V6 engine, 287HP, and impressive handling and performance. Personally, I really like the design of the car. However, I do have some reservations. In terms of performance, I would caution against assuming that this is a true performance car. If you test drive a 5-year-old Supra, for instance, you'll feel the difference between the 350Z and a true performance car. Additionally, while the car is ergonomic, visibility can be sacrificed. Fuel economy may not be a top priority for everyone, but it's worth considering. While the car handles well, I wouldn't necessarily describe it as 'fun to drive'. Some may feel that the car has lost the original sports spirit of the 300zx. If you're looking for a sports car, it may be worth considering other options in the $30,000+ price range.

Congratulations on your 2007 Grand Touring Roadster (convertible)! It sounds like you made a great purchase. I understand why you couldn't part with your BMW 325i, but it's great to hear that you're enjoying your new car so much. With the top down, driving must be a real pleasure. The car is an absolute blast to drive, but unfortunately, there have been some minor issues that detract from the overall experience. For example, the audio system sounds great, but it has needed repairs twice (which were not covered under warranty). Additionally, the placement of the 12V outlet and cup holders is not ideal, making it impossible to use a radar detector. The driver-side auto-close window also doesn't work, and the tires have had to be replaced twice. There is also a thumping noise coming from the passenger-side seatbelt. While these issues are certainly frustrating, once you get behind the wheel, they seem to fade away. Anyone who owns a 350 will likely recognize these problems, but the joy of driving this car makes them easy to overlook.

This is my second Nissan. Overall, it's a great sports car that gets a lot of attention while driving and performs well. I did have to replace the OEM battery after just one year due to a bad cell that prevented it from starting. The center console's plastic feels a bit hollow, but that's a minor issue. While backing up, it can be challenging to see objects behind the car. However, updating the AudioVideo components in this car is quite easy!

The interior paint/coating on all plastic panels (door, dash, etc) scratches off with normal use to reveal a white plastic. However, this is a known issue that Nissan has chosen not to address. In contrast, I have owned five different cars, all older than the 350 and with more mileage, and have not experienced this issue. Unfortunately, this problem started soon after the warranty expired, 36 months. As a result, I had to have all these panels removed and painted by a body shop. Additionally, the power window motors also stopped working, which is another known problem that Nissan has not solved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Nissan.
