THE LIGHT WAS COMING ON INTERMITTENTLY, BUT NOW IT COMES ON 90% OF THE TIME AS SOON AS I START MY VEHICLE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER TODAY AND IT COST ME $100 JUST FOR THEM TO LOOK AT IT. THE DEALER STATES IT COULD NEED A NEW SEAT BELT TENSION SENSOR POWER SOURCE WHICH IS $650. THEY ARE NOT SURE IF IT WILL CORRECT THE PROBLEM OR REQUIRE ADDITIONAL PARTS. I DID A SEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND THE ISSUES IS DOCUMENTED ON MANY FORUMS. I BELIEVE THE CAR MANUFACTURER SHOULD COVER THE ISSUE SINCE THEY ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.

- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2008-2019 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX 570 vehicles. Over time, the seat belt tension sensor wire harness may break and deactivate the front passenger air bag, knee air bag, and passenger seat-mounted side airbag.
- Consequence: In the event of a crash, deactivated air bags can increase the risk of injury .
- Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will modify the front passenger seat belt assembly or replace it with an improved one, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 11, 2019. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371 or Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. Toyota's numbers for this recall are Lexus Interim J2L and Remedy JLL, Toyota Interim J15 and Remedy J05.

Took delivery in January 2008. The available color was starfire. My last LX was also white, but that is where the comparison ends. This new model has more power, great highway acceleration, and a smooth ride. I have only mastered about 50% of the features this ride offers, but it is fun to experiment. The gas mileage is in the 15 MPG range around town, which is better than the old model.

I've driven 10,000 miles in my LX 570 in just 3 months! This truck really hits its stride at 70+ miles per hour. When passing on two-way rural roads at that speed, you have to be careful as it can quickly reach 100 MPH. But even at high speeds, it feels solid, stable, quiet, and effortless. I even had to install a K40 radar detector because this truck loves to sneak up in speed! While it may not have the best low-speed torque, it definitely has plenty of headroom at high speeds.

I traded a 2007 GX in 2009. The LX 570 is the finest automobile I have ever driven! I have had a Navigator and Escalade before, but the LX 570 beats them hands down. After one year of driving, I have had no problems. I would definitely purchase a Lexus again! Best regards, Furman Walter.

My most recent vehicle was an '04 LX 470. While it was a dependable and quality ride, it lacked in several important ways - most of which have been totally worked out with the new LX 570. The three greatest improvements go to my pet peeves. Firstly, the new Tundra power plant and transmission work perfectly, providing more power than the grossly underpowered 470. Secondly, the 4 zone heating and A/C controls are a welcome improvement over the old system that seemed to have a mind of its own. Lastly, as someone who is 6'1

I bought this car for my wife, while I drive a Porsche Cayenne. Let me point out a few differences between the two vehicles. Firstly, the Lexus is a large truck-based SUV, which makes it quite bulky. It does everything you need it to do, but it's not as agile as our other vehicle. The interior is quiet, but not as quiet as a nice sedan. One review described it as a graceful hippopotamus, which I think is quite accurate. If you're looking for a capable, strong SUV, then this is the one for you. However, if you're looking for performance and agility, then I think the Porsche Cayenne beats it hands down.

I am delighted to be leasing this LX. While my wife wanted to lease a new GL, I was looking for something different. We almost got a Range Rover, but with three children (aged 5, 3, and 6 months), it was a little small. There were two reasons why we decided to lease this SUV: firstly, we got a pretty good deal because I knew the GM at the Lexus dealer, and secondly, we had never had a Lexus SUV before. However, after driving 3100 miles, I have to say that I am not entirely satisfied with this SUV, especially considering the price range. If it were in the $50k range, it would be acceptable, but not for an SUV that costs over $70k. Here's why: firstly, it doesn't feel as solid as the GL; secondly, the Bluetooth connectivity is terrible - the other person can't hear well; thirdly, there is more road noise compared to the GL; and finally, it doesn't feel like a luxury SUV that costs $75k.

If you're looking for a car that combines the reliability and quality of a Toyota with the luxury of a German SUV and the low maintenance of a Japanese car, the Lexus is a great choice. It comes with a lot of advanced technology and offers a decent ride. While the seats could be improved and the ride and handling could be better, it still competes with other SUVs like the Range Rover, BMW X5, and Mercedes ML. However, like any other SUV, it has its own set of shortfalls.

The car drives decently, although not as smoothly as the LX 470. The seats are quite hard, and you can feel every bump in the road. The audio system doesn't sound as good as the 470, despite having more speakers. On the bright side, the redesigned body looks like a sleek Toyota Highlander. It's hard to understand why they would fix something that wasn't broken!

Although I was initially excited to hear about the redesign of the full size Lexus, I was ultimately disappointed with the new model. The interior was not as comfortable as I had hoped and I experienced several issues with the electronic system. Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth was difficult to set up and the receiver had trouble hearing me. In hindsight, I regret not test driving other SUVs before making my purchase. While I am unsure how long I will keep this car, I remain hopeful that future models will address these issues.
