2019 Lexus Lx570 problems
The Lexus LX (Japanese: レクサス・LX, Hepburn: Rekusasu LX) is a full-size luxury SUV sold by Lexus, a luxury division of Toyota since January 1996, having entered manufacturing in November 1995. It is Lexus' largest and most expensive luxury SUV. Four generations have been produced, all based heavily on the long-running Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs. The first-generation LX 450 started production in 1995 as Lexus' first entry into the SUV market. Its successor, the LX 470, premiered in 1998 and was manufactured until 2007. The third-generation LX debuted at the New York International Auto Show in April 2007. The fourth-generation LX debuted in October 2021.
The first-generation LX 450 had a straight-six engine and seats for seven passengers. The second and third-generations had a V8 engine powertrain, a welded steel body-shell combined with full-size steel ladder frame (body-on-frame construction), and seats for eight passengers. The fourth-generation model has a twin-turbocharged V6 engine powertrain and seats for seven passengers as standard and four passengers as an option. The second-generation LX 470 shared exterior styling with the Japanese domestic market Land Cruiser Cygnus.
According to Lexus, the "LX" name stands for "Luxury Crossover". However, some Lexus importers use the backronymic name, "Luxury Four Wheel Drive".

- Summary: CAR HAS LESS THAN 5K MILES. ON 5 INSTANCES, I OPENED THE POWER LIFTGATE BY DEPRESSING THE BUTTON ON THE LIFTGATE. AS I LOADED/UNLOADED ITEMS FROM THE CAR, THE LIFTGATE CLOSED DOWN ON ME WITH NO BEEPING OR SENSING THAT BODIES WERE PRESENT. ONE INSTANCE HAPPENED WHERE THE LIFTGATE PRESSED ON THE BACK OF MY DAUGHTER'S HEAD PUSHING HER DOWN TO THE BASE OF THE CARGO AREA. ALL 5 INSTANCES OCCURRED ON FLAT SURFACES WITH THE VEHICLE OFF AND IN VERY HOT TEMPERATURES. MY LOCAL LEXUS SERVICE DEPT WAS ABLE TO RECREATE THIS BY LEAVING MY CAR OUT IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER. THEY INFORMED ME MINE WAS THE 2ND LEXUS TO REPORT THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THEY WILL BE REPLACING THE MOTOR AND ANOTHER COMPONENT OF THE POWER LIFTGATE. The Lexus LX offers a lot of options, including a movable third row seat that can be adjusted to the side. You can easily check your speed on the front windshield, and every light inside is designed to work with motion. Plus, the cooler seat is perfect for Hawaii!
-
If you're looking for a car that addresses your main concerns, this is the one to consider. Of course, there's always room for improvement, such as adding self-parking and self-driving features, providing more legroom for the third row, increasing cargo space, improving fuel efficiency, and adding a double moon roof or panoramic roof.
-
The Lexus LX 570 is an amazing car, with great looks both inside and out, as well as top-notch safety and comfort features. There's really nothing to complain about!
-
The vehicle is very comfortable and solid, but it can be a challenge at the gas pump and has a relatively short range given its size.
-
This vehicle is perfect for drivers who value reliability, safety, and comfort all in one. Every time you enter the vehicle, you can trust that it will provide a consistent and enjoyable driving experience. As a real SUV, it doesn't need to apologize for its size. I have owned both the LX470 and several LX570s, and I invite those who are on the fence about taking a true test drive of one of the most remarkable vehicles of its size. Toyota continues to prioritize your needs and preferences.

The Lexus is a luxury SUV with stunning looks both inside and out, featuring a first-class ultra-comfortable interior. While the ride can be bouncy at times, especially at higher speeds, the car is built like a tank. The steering can be stiff and heavy until the car gets up to speed, but it's nothing that can't be handled. The comfort and sport suspension options are quite similar. The Marc Levinson stereo is the best of any car, and the vehicle is remarkably quiet. The air conditioning is totally automatic, quickly cools the car, and is completely silent. Unlike some other cars, the air conditioning is very efficient. I had a Range Rover before, but after experiencing a transmission problem just three days after delivery, I decided to switch to Lexus. Although the Range Rover interior is beautiful, it looks more like business class than first class like the Lexus. Additionally, the Range Rover resale value was an issue at trade-in.

Hey there! It seems like you might be having some trouble driving in the snow. Don't worry, you're not alone! Do you need any tips or advice on how to handle snowy roads?

I have been driving this car since mid-2017 and have put 100,000 miles on it. While the engine runs smoothly and the ride quality is great, the interior quality and infotainment system leave much to be desired, especially considering the car's price point. Unfortunately, there are numerous interior creaks and rattles, and the buttons and black plastic used throughout the interior feel cheap. The headliner is also made of a material that is not up to par with the car's price. The leather seats are nice, but the finish started flaking off around 60k miles. Despite these drawbacks, the LX is still an incredible car. The engine is amazing, and the car is great for off-road adventures. The ride is smooth and comfortable, especially on long trips. The seats are ergonomic and have heating/cooling functions. The infotainment system takes some getting used to, but it's not a deal-breaker. The only downside is the suspension, which is not inspiring and makes the car unstable at highway speeds. Overall, the LX is a great car, but it falls short in some areas considering its price point. I would recommend it if you can get a good deal or if you need a reliable car for long drives. It drives like a classic car, but the interior quality could use some improvement. Despite my efforts to save it with detailing products, everything seems to be fading, breaking, or just cheap. The transmission is generally smooth, but can be jerky at 80% throttle input. The HVAC system could also use some work, as it can make the car feel stuffy in the winter. Overall, there is room for improvement, but it still has its charm.

If you ever plan on driving in snowy and icy conditions, it's important to test the car in those conditions first. You may find that it's not the right fit for you. I made the mistake of buying it before the snow arrived. In the past, I've driven other LX models on snow and ice and they performed great. I thought this one would be even better with improvements over the years, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Firstly, all LX models in the US come with the 'optional' 21' wheels/tires, which are not suitable for winter conditions. It's impossible to find replacement tires for this size, so you're stuck with what comes with the car. They're great in the summer, but terrible in the winter. They won't stop this heavy vehicle. When I contacted Lexus to complain about buying a $100k SUV that cannot be safely driven in the snow in Colorado, they were uninterested in the problem. It's a shame because in good weather, the car is very nice. It's more comfortable to ride than any of the competitors I've driven (and I've driven many), and it's much quieter and refined. The technology is outstanding, as is the Mark Levinson stereo (the best I've ever heard in any vehicle). The acceleration is weak, though, and not up to par in this class. However, it's still livable. Gas mileage is abysmal, but let's face it, people who buy these cars are probably not too concerned with that. Still, it has a relatively small gas tank, so I have to fill it up more often than I had to fill my previous Yukon XL Denali (which also got an average of 2-4mpg better than the LX). Since I originally wrote this, I've experienced more and more issues with the Lexus Enform App Suite having significant connectivity errors, which is really annoying.

This vehicle is quite spacious and has excellent safety features, including multiple airbags that are well-distributed. The weight of 6000 pounds is also a safety feature. However, there are a few issues that would place this vehicle between a 3 and 4 star rating for me. I owned a 2011 model and traded it for a 2016 model. Unfortunately, the newer model's engine is more sluggish, and if you want to accelerate quickly, the engine sounds like a 4-cylinder that is about to throw a rod. The 2011 engine and transmission were much better. This vehicle is usually sold with 21-inch wheels, and I found out after purchasing that Dunlop is the only manufacturer of tires this size. Unfortunately, they are not very good tires, and I am currently unable to drive my car because the tires are on backorder nationwide. The vehicle is sitting at my Lexus dealer, who is unsure of what to tell me at this point. The screens for watching television in the back seat stick out so far from the backs of the front seats that they encroach on the headspace of the rear seat passengers. I found this almost scary when I sat in the back seat. The anti-lock brake mechanism is not smooth, and if hard braking is required, the tires seem to skip around on the road. I am not sure how much of this is due to the tire quality versus the anti-lock quality.
