2000 Land rover Discovery ii problems
The Land Rover Discovery is a series of seven-seater family SUVs, produced under the Land Rover marque, from the British manufacturer Land Rover, and later Jaguar Land Rover. The series is currently in its fifth iteration (or generation, according to the manufacturer), the first of which was introduced in 1989, making the Discovery the first new model series since the launch of the 1970 Range Rover – on which it was based – and only the third new product line since the conception of the Land Rover (vehicle and brand) by Rover in 1948. The model is sometimes called influential, as one of the first to market a true off-road capable family car.
Although the Range Rover had originally been designed as an everyday four wheel drive car that could be used as both a utility vehicle and a family car, it had progressively moved upmarket through its life to evolve into a luxury vehicle sold at a much higher price point. The Discovery was intended to fulfill the role the Range Rover originally was intended for; a segment which was now dominated by Japanese rivals such as the Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota Land Cruiser. Although positioned below the Range Rover in the company's line-up, the vehicle was both longer and higher, offered more room in the back, and optionally also more seats. Space utilization became more sophisticated in later iterations, but the series keeps offering seats for seven occupants. Despite originally being sold as an affordable alternative to the Range Rover, the Discovery has also progressively moved upmarket through its successive generations to become a bonafide luxury SUV.
The second Discovery (1998) was called the Series II, and though featuring an extended rear body, was otherwise an updated facelift, which carried on the 100 in (2,540 mm) wheelbase frame and rigid, live front and rear axles of the original Range Rover into 2004.
The third iteration – succeeding the series I and II in 2004 - was either titled the Discovery 3 or simply LR3 (in North America and the Middle East). This was the first all-original design for the Discovery. Although it followed the 2002 third generation Range Rover, also switching to fully independent suspension, it still received a separate, but integrated body and frame (IBF) structure. The fourth iteration, as of 2009 – like the series II, was again mainly an update of the new generation – marketed as the Discovery 4, or Land Rover LR4 for North American and Middle Eastern markets.
The fifth iteration of the Discovery, introduced in 2017, no longer sports a numeric suffix. Unlike the previous two generations, it now benefits from a unitized body structure, making it lighter than its predecessor.

Common 2000 Land rover Discovery ii problems
The Land Rover Discovery 2, produced from 1998 to 2004, is known for its all-wheel drive system, which has been a subject of concern for many owners. The system's modernization was a challenge, leading to a complex design that puzzled many users. The torque is transmitted constantly to all four wheels through the center differential until about 2001, when a lock was installed. However, there was not enough leverage to turn it on, requiring the driver to leave the salon to activate it. In 2001, the lock was removed from the list of equipment and returned only at the very end in 2004, this time with full civilized management
The Land Rover Discovery 2 is equipped with two rigid axles, which guarantee reliability, durability, and good performance on the ground. However, they perform worse on asphalt surfaces. The car's chassis, especially with the SLS self-leveling suspension, is generally reliable, and the steering is quite precise with good handling. However, driving the Discovery 2 may not be as smooth as driving a Mitsubishi Pajero. Oil leaks from under the camshaft seals, engine, and transmission seals are common problems, especially in older models. These leaks have been reported even during the warranty period
The Land Rover Discovery 2 has two main types of engines: petrol and diesel. The petrol engines, including the AV-8 of 4.0 and 4.6 liters, have British roots and have experienced premature wear on bearings and heads. Many gasoline units have been converted to run on liquefied gas. Both engines have a timing chain drive, and common problems include oil leaks from under the camshaft seals. Given the age of the model, leakage from under the engine and transmission seals is also a common occurrence
The Land Rover Discovery 2 has an unusual design and needs specialized service. Consumables are available and quite cheap, but serious investments will require specific equipment, such as an air suspension compressor or an AC valve block. Among the typical malfunctions of an elderly Disco, one can note the failure of the electronic gas pedal, the wear of the cardan shaft joints, the jamming of the door and trunk lid locks, the failure of the ABS sensors, and the contamination of electrical contacts. The immobilizer, which is sensitive to external sources of interference, can also cause problems. Water penetration into the cabin and musty smells are also common issues in the Land Rover Discovery 2
In summary, the Land Rover Discovery 2 has several common problems, including issues with its all-wheel drive system, oil leaks, and electronic and mechanical malfunctions. These problems can be costly to fix, especially in older models. However, with regular and proactive maintenance, many of these issues can be avoided or mitigated.
What is the most common problem with the Discovery 2?
The usual problem is that the air springs wear out (look for perishing rubber on the crease in the bag) and leak air. If they continue to leak air this can put the compressor under strain which can then fail.
How many miles will a 2000 Land Rover Discovery last?
The estimated lifespan of a Land Rover Discovery is 296,000mi, before reaching the life expectancy upper limit. Fuel type is a major factor when looking into a vehicles lifespan/life expectancy.
Are older Land Rover Discovery reliable?
For example, the Discovery Series I vehicles, which were produced from 1989 to 1998, are considered to be the least reliable generation in aggregate. If possible, ask the seller of a used Land Rover Discovery whether they encountered any of these faults in their time driving it.
What is the air suspension problem on the Land Rover Discovery 2?
Common Air Suspension Problems in Disco 2
One common problem with Disco 2's air suspension is air leaks. These leaks can occur in the air bags, causing the vehicle to sag or lose its ride height. Air leaks require immediate attention as they can lead to further damage to the suspension system.

POWER TRAIN PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2008-07-31
- VIN: SALTY1244YA
- Components: POWER TRAIN
- Summary: I OWN A 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. CURRENTLY, IT HAS 67,000 MILES ON IT AND I PURCHASED IT AT 60,000 MILES. SHORTLY AFTER MY 60,000 MILE CHECK AT THE DEALER, THE DRIVE SHAFT AND U JOINTS HAD TO BE REPLACED. WITHOUT WARNING, I LOST POWER AND HAD TO PULL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I AM NOT IN WARRANTY, BUT MY LOCAL MECHANIC STATED THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH LAND ROVERS (EVEN LOW-MILEAGE ONES). I THINK LAND ROVER SHOULD RECALL THESE VEHICLES AND FIX THIS SEEMINGLY UBIQUITOUS PROBLEM. *TR
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC,EQUIPMENT PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2007-02-18
- VIN: SALTY1248YA
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC,EQUIPMENT
- Summary: I PURCHASED MY 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY LAST FEBRUARY AND A FEW DAYS AFTER PURCHASE THE TRACTION CONTROL, ANTI LOCK LIGHT, ABS AND DOWN HILL LIGHT CAME ON. WENT TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY WANT ME TO REPLACE THE ABS MODULE OVER $3000 PARTS AND LABOR. THIS IS JUST CRAZY AS MANY OTHERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE A LEGITIMATE COMPLAINT AS I FOUND MANY MORE WITH THIS ISSUE AT SITES SUCH AS HTTP://LANDROVERFORUMS.COM/ AND OTHERS. I DID REPLACE THIS PART WITH A USED ONE BUT SAME THING. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! *TR
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC,UNKNOWN OR OTHER PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2008-04-25
- VIN: SALTY1243YA
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC,UNKNOWN OR OTHER
- Summary: IN MY 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 2, AS APPARENTLY IN MANY OTHERS, FROM TIME TO TIME, USUALLY AFTER APPLYING THE BRAKES IN A ROUTINE STOP, AN ALARM CHIMES AND THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH ILLUMINATE SHOWING THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM IS NO LONGER WORKING AS WELL AS THE HILL DESCENT CONTROL AND TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM. THIS IS SUCH A COMMON FAILURE THAT JUST ABOUT EVERY DISCOVERY 2 OWNER KNOWS IT BY ITS NICKNAME, THE THREE AMIGOS! CLEARLY A FAILURE IN THE ABS IS SERIOUS, ESPECIALLY IF IT RESULTS IN A VALVE LOCKING UP AND DISABLING THE BRAKES AS HAS POSSIBLY HAPPENED. THE OTHER TWO FUNCTIONS RELATE TO USE IN LOW TRACTION ENVIRONMENTS, SUCH AS SNOW, AND ARE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS AS WELL. I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL ISSUE. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME I DRIVE MY DISCOVERY, INCLUDING TODAY (THE DATE I LISTED BELOW). *TR
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2007-07-07
- VIN: SALTY1546YA
- Components: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
- Summary: PURCHASED VEHICLE IN JULY IT HAS BEEN LOOKED AT AND REPAIRED 8 TIMES. TWICE TO THE DEALER, THE SECOND TIME THEY TOLD ME IT HAD A CRACKED ENGINE BLOCK AND WOULD COST 10,000 TO REPLACE THE ENGINE(THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR THE CAR). THE FIRST TIME IT WAS THERE FOR AN INSPECTION THEY TOLD ME IN 2002 THEY REPLACED THE RADIATOR AND 2005 IT WAS THERE FOR OVERHEATING ISSUES. THE COOLANT FLUID WOULD NOT STAY IN AND KEPT LEAKING. IT CONSTANTLY OVERHEATED AND WHEN I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT, BEFORE I EVEN GOT HOME THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. IT'S BEING HELD AT A REPAIR SHOP THAT THE DEALER TOOK IT TO BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY THEM TO FIX WHAT THEY SAY IS WRONG WITH IT AND I THOUGHT THE DEALER WAS GOING TO FIX IT. I MYSELF HAVE SPENT OVER 1,000 ON IT IN REPAIRS AND HAVE BEEN RIDING THE BUS FOR 3 WEEKS NOW. *TR

POWER TRAIN PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2007-01-26
- VIN: SALTY1247YA
- Components: POWER TRAIN
- Summary: MY WIFE WAS DRIVING OUR 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II (WITH 50,000 MILES) ON MD HIGHWAY 15 WITH MY THREE CHILDREN WHEN SHE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO A SLOW STOP. THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING, BUT WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR. SHE CALLED FOR A TOW AND WE HAD THE CAR DIAGNOSED AT A LOCAL MECHANIC. WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT HAPPENED I WAS ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDED. THE VEHICLES UNIVERSAL JOINT FAILED CAUSING THE DRIVE SHAFT TO FALL FROM THE TRANSFER CASE AND CRACK THE TRANSMISSION. THIS CAR HAD BEEN SERVICED AND CARED FOR EXTREMELY WELL-IT WAS CONSIDERED TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. A CAR WITH 50,000 MILES SHOULD NOT HAVE THE UNIVERSAL JOINT FAIL. THE MECHANIC WAS VERY CLEAR IN STATING IT WAS DEFINITELY A MANUFACTURING FLAW. AT THE TIME OF THE FAILURE, MY WIFE WAS ON THE OFF RAMP TRAVELING AT 15 MILES AN HOUR-IF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED AT NORMAL HIGHWAY SPEED, THE OUTCOME WOULD HAVE BEEN QUITE DIFFERENT; I AM LUCKY NO BODY WAS HURT. I IMMEDIATELY HAD IT TOWED TO LAND ROVER BETHESDA WHERE I WAS SURE LAND ROVER WOULD ASSIST IN THE REPAIR OF SUCH A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. THIS FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AT THE LAND ROVER DEALER AS EXTREMELY ODD AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY REASON FOR THE FAILURE. LAND ROVER ALSO REFUSED TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FAILURE. THEY REFUSED TO HELP WITH ANY FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND SHOWED NO CONCERN FOR MY FAMILIES SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF ANY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. THIS VEHICLE HAS A 50,000 WARRANTY, ALTHOUGH IT WAS PAST THE 4 YEARS-LAND ROVER SHOULD HAVE BACKED UP THEIR PRODUCT AND INVESTIGATED THE ISSUE MORE THOROUGHLY. I WAS SHOCKED. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL LAND ROVER CUSTOMER FOR 15 YEARS, BUT I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FAITH IN THEIR PRODUCT AFTER THIS INCIDENT. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER LAND ROVER AGAIN. I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR ANY FAMILIES WHO OWN THIS YEAR AND MAKE OF VEHICLE AND HOPE THAT THIS WILL BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER. I FEEL THAT THIS COULD BE A POSSIBLE RECALL ITEM. *NM

- Summary: I HAVE A 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY, WHICH I LOVE AND DESPITE THAT MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MANY TIMES, (ALMOST EVERY FEW MONTHS) I STILL LOVE MY TRUCK, SO I BOUGHT MY HUSBAND ONE ALSO, HE HAS A 2001 LAND ROVER, BUT JUST RECENTLY I HAD TO HAVE MY VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. AND I WAS TOLD MY ENGINE SIZED AND I HAVE TO REPLACE THE HEADS OR THE COMPLETE ENGINE, THIS WAS ALL CAUSED FROM A COOLANT LEAK IN MY THROTTLE BODY, AND THE VEHICLE NEVER GAVE A WARNING THAT MY ENGINE WAS RUNNING TO HOT OR TO COLD, THAT IS WHY THERE IS A GAGE ON THE DASH TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION. AND NOW MY HUSBAND HAS A 2001 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY AND HE IS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS, VEHICLE ONLY HAS 79,000 MILES ON IT . AND NO-ONE AT LAND ROVER WILL HELP. I AM SO VERY UPSET. *JB

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,AIR BAGS PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2006-08-10
- VIN: SALTY1545YA
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,AIR BAGS
- Summary: THE "SPIRAL CASSETTE" ON MY 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY HAS FAILED THREE TIMES (ABOUT EVERY 30,000 MILES OR TWO YEARS). WHEN THIS HAPPENS, THE SRS LIGHT COMES ON AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY AIRBAG SRS IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. I HAVE HAD IT REPLACED AND NOT "TESTED" THE AIR BAG. IT HAS NOW FAILED AGAIN. THIS SEEMS TO BE A DEFECTIVE DESIGN OR CONSISTENTLY DEFECTIVE MANUFACTURING WHICH LEADS TO FAILURE OF A VITAL SAFETY SYSTEM. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO INVESTIGATE TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF THIS PROBLEM AND WHETHER OR NOT A RECALL IS NECESSARY. I BELIEVE THE PART IS "YRC100350 ROTARY CASSETTE" *JB
SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2006-01-21
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
- Summary: 2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II. 1ST I HAD THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT ON AND AFTER SPENDING ALMOST $600.00 TO EXTINGUISH THE LIGHT, I DROVE THE VEHICLE FOR (4) DAYS, NOW ALL THE LIGHTS ARE ON. I CHECKED ON A LAND ROVER FORUM AND THEY SAID THE ABS / TC LIGHTS ARE AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL. EVERYONE IS SPENDING A FORTUNE. MY LAND ROVER JUST CAME OUT OF WARRANTY (OF COURSE!). *JB

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2005-11-05
- VIN: SALTY1244YA
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
- Summary: MY WIFE AND I TOOK OUR '00 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II TO ANZA BORREGO, CA FOR CAMPING. TO GET TO THE CAMPSITE WE HAD TO TAKE UNPAVED TRAILS OF CERTAIN DIFFICULTY RATING. MOST OF WHICH WERE RATED 4-5 WITH 10 BEING THE MOST DIFFICULT. ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE ABS/TC/HDC WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON PARTICULARLY ON CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE TRAIL WHERE THERE WERE INCLINES, RUTS AND GULLEYS. WE GOT STUCK SO MANY TIMES AND EVEN AT ONE POINT ALMOST TIPPED ONE SIDE AS ONLY ONE WHEEL HAS POWER AND ALL THREE WERE RATHER STATIONARY. I COULDN'T GET PAST TRAILS THAT EVEN SOME STOCK VEHICLE WITH ADEQUATE CLEARANCE CAN MANAGE AND HAD TO BE PULLED AND WINCHED OUT. ON SOME OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE ALMOST SLID BACKWARDS AS THREE WHEELS WOULD NOT SPIN. I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND IT NEVER HAPPENS WHEN ON PAVED ROADS OR HIGHWAYS OTHER THAN THE LIGHTS REMAIN LIT BUT ALL FOUR WHEELS HAVE TRACTION. *NM

AROUND 1.45 PM TRAFFIC AHEAD STARTED SLOWING DOWN. I WAS DRIVING AT ABOUT 60 MPH, AND APPLIED THE BRAKE; THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY STARTED FISHTAILING AND SWERVING BADLY. I DID NOT FEEL THE PULSING OF THE ABS; THE VEHICLE SWERVED ACROSS THE RIGHT LANE & SHOULDER, HIT THE GUARD RAIL ON THE RIGHT, BOUNCED BACK, & TIPPED OVER ON TO THE RIGHT (PASSENGER SIDE) ON THE SHOULDER. MY WIFE SUSTAINED INJURIES TO HER RIGHT HAND & ARM DUE TO THE TIPPING OVER OF THE VEHICLE AND THE SHATTERING OF THE FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW GLASS, & WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL BY EMS AMBULANCE. SHE WILL UNDERGO HAND SURGERY. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED SERIOUS BODY DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL TOWING YARD. IT WAS DETERMINED NOT DRIVABLE BY MY AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY APPRAISER(THE VEHICLE IS STILL CAPABLE OF STARTING AND MOVING FORWARD AT THIS TIME). WE (MY WIFE AND I ) INFORMED LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA IN MARYLAND OF THE INCIDENT; THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT SEND ANYONE OUT TO EXAMINE IT. THEY SUGGESTED WE CONTACT ANY LOCAL LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP WITH A SERVICE CENTER FOR A DETAILED EXAMINATION OF THE VEHICLE. THE (CLOSEST AVAILABLE) LEXINGTON LAND ROVER DEALER/SERVICE CENTER REFUSED, CITING CONFLICT OF INTEREST! THE VEHICLE REMAINS IN THE TOWING YARD, AWAITING A MOVE TO A SALVAGE YARD SOON. NO OTHER VEHICLES/PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED.WE GOT BACK HOME TO PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THE ACCIDENT. WE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT IF THE ABS FAILURE CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ACCIDENT. LAND ROVER HAS NOT MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT OUR AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY, OR SHOWED ANY INTEREST IN TACKLING THIS PROBLEM, OTHER THAN GIVING US AN ADDRESS TO WRITE TO. THEREFORE, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO ADDRESS/CORRECT THIS PROBLEM SO FAR.

- Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH WARN INDUSTRIES' WINCH KITS. A POWER INTERRUPT SOLENOID, POSSIBLY INCLUDED IN THE WINCH ASSEMBLY, CAN DEVELOP AN ELECTRICAL LEAK PATH TO GROUND.
- Consequence: THIS CAN LEAD TO THE SOLENOID EXPERIENCING EXCESSIVE HEAT, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY LEAD TO A FIRE.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL CALL OWNERS TO ARRANGE FOR AN INSPECTION TIME TO DETERMINE IF A DEFECTIVE POWER INTERRUPT SOLENOID WAS INSTALLED. IF IT WAS, THE SOLENOID WILL BE REPLACED. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN AUGUST 13, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT LAND ROVER AT 1-301-731-9040.
- Manufacturer: LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA, INC.
- Components: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE
- Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ACTIVE CORNERING ENHANCEMENT (ACE). THE HIGH-PRESSURE HYDRAULIC PIPE THAT RUNS FROM THE ACE PUMP TO THE ACE VALVE BLOCK COULD FRACTURE AT ITS UNION WITH THE PUMP.
- Consequence: THIS WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF HYDRAULIC FLUID. A LOW FLUID LEVEL CAN SUBSEQUENTLY RESULT IN SYSTEM PUMP FAILURE WHICH WILL THROW OFF THE AUXILIARY DRIVE BELT, RESULTING IN A LOSS OF ENGINE AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS (POWER STEERING ASSIST, WATER PUMP, ALTERNATOR, AND AIR CONDITIONING). IN EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE HYDRAULIC FLUID COULD IGNITE, RESULTING IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW HYDRAULIC TUBING.
- Manufacturer: LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA, INC.
- Components: ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL:AUTOMATIC (ASC)
- Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. THE LOADING CONDITIONS ON THE VEHICLE'S LEFT SIDE ENGINE IDLER PULLEY CAN EXCEED THE MAXIMUM CALCULATED FIGURE OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN SPECIFICATION. THE MATERIAL OF THE PULLEY CAN FRACTURE AND ULTIMATELY FAIL. FAILURE OF THE PULLEY MATERIAL CAN CAUSE THE PULLEY TO THROW OFF THE SERPENTINE BELT.
- Consequence: THIS COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF ENGINE AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS (POWER STEERING, WATER PUMP, ALTERNATOR, AIR CONDITIONING AND ACE).
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL AN IMPROVED IDLER PULLEY.
