The Infiniti QX30 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Nissan's Infiniti luxury brand. It is heavily based on the Q30 hatchback with modifications mainly in its ride height in order for it to be marketed as a crossover. Both the Q30 and the QX30 are based on the first-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA and the third-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Concept model
The QX30 Concept featured 21-inch wheels, large tires, and increased blackout around the wheel opening, with a satin chrome front bumper. It was introduced at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show, followed by the 2015 New York International Auto Show.
Production model
Based on the Infiniti Q30, the QX30 includes redesigned front and rear bumpers, grained side sills, as well as bodywork finished with satin chrome plated inserts with metallic finish along with an increased ride height. The QX30 was unveiled at the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show and the 2015 Auto Guangzhou, followed by the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
US and Canada models went on sale in the middle of 2016 as model year 2017 vehicles, with a 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, followed by Mexico and Latin America in the second half of 2016.
European models went on sale in the summer of 2016. Early models included 2.2d AWD with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

My safety and the safety of others is at risk because it has lost power while in 65-70 mph traffic which almost caused an accident. The dealer has confirmed this issue is with the wiring harness connection to the accelerator. I contacted the manufacturer but they were not willing to assist me, and have not inspected the vehicle. I will request the dealer to give me the defective parts once the repair is complete. Shortly before losing power, the following warning flashes: "emergency brake inoperative" and the stabilitrak/traction control light comes on and says to check the owners manual(manual does not provide explanation for this issue)

MY INSURANCE CRASH INVESTIGATOR AND THE BODY SHOP ALL STATED MY AIRBAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED. THE NISSAN INVESTIGATOR [XXX] DECLARED THAT SHE IS THE FINAL SAY ON THE SAFETY OF MY AIRBAGS AND CLAIMS THAT IT IS HER OPINION THAT I DID NOT MEET THE QUALIFICATION FOR MY AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. I HIT THE CONCRETE WALL AT PROBABLY AROUND 30-40 MPH AND CAME TO A DEAD STOP. I HAD NOTHING TO HELP WITH THE SHARP SNAP OF MY NECK FROM THE IMPACT. [XXX] UNPROFESSIONALLY YELL AT ME THAT SHE IS THE AUTHORITY ON THE EFFECTIVENESS AND SAFETY AND THEN HUNG UP THE CALL ON ME AFTER STATING THAT I DID NOT SHARE HER OPINION AND ASKING HER MULTIPLE TIMES IF SHE WOULD SEND ME A REPORT OF HER FINDINGS FOR MY RECORDS, WHICH SHE REFUSED TO DO. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTACT ANYONE ELSE IN NISSAN INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT AND I BELIEVE THIS IS SOMETHING THAT COULD HARM A LOT OF PEOPLE IF MY AIRBAGS WERE FAULTY. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles. Additionally included are 2019 Nissan GT-R and Taxi and Infiniti QX50, QX60, Q70, Q70L vehicles. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- Consequence: The lack of an image in the back-up camera display increases the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Nissan will notify owners in phases, having dealers update the back-up camera settings software, free of charge. The recall began November 11, 2019 and all affected VINs should be activated. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or INFINITI customer service at 1-800-662-6200.

My mother-in-law visited a friend in the hospital. When they called for service, a gentleman arrived in a car to change the tire, only to discover that the car did not come with a spare. It took four hours for a tow truck to arrive. This is unacceptable! The space where the spare tire should have been was occupied by a large Bose sound system. This issue needs to be addressed immediately to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

I purchased a QX30 about 6 months ago and was initially drawn to its sleek design and smooth driving experience. However, I have experienced some issues with the car that have been quite concerning. While driving, the cluster gauge has displayed multiple warnings such as 'traction control failure', 'brake failure', and 'power steering failure', accompanied by a message advising me not to shift gears and to take the car to the dealership immediately. This has made it difficult to control the car and has resulted in a few close calls with other vehicles. Additionally, the car has had trouble accelerating during these incidents. Despite multiple trips to the dealership, the issue has not been resolved. I have found that many others have experienced the same problem, which is worrying. I hope that this issue can be addressed soon to prevent any potential accidents.

Although the interior compartment is very nice and it caught my attention, I found the vehicle to be impractical. Unfortunately, there is no place to store even sunglasses and the owners manual is too big to fit in the glove box. Additionally, the car lacks a power hatch, which is surprising for a luxury car. The sight lines are also poor, with low visibility out the rear and sides of the car. However, the glass panoramic roof does make it feel less cramped. The back seat has very little leg and headroom for an average size adult. The car is underpowered and whines through the lower gears, which is not what I would expect from a luxury car. The road noise is also quite loud, but the handling is one of the few positives. The ride is very stiff and you feel every bump and expansion joint, even on the highway. Overall, I found the car to be impractical and disappointing, and I ultimately returned it after 3 weeks.

This car is essentially a Mercedes with an Infiniti body. I was in an accident and decided to purchase the QX30, but I wish I had been more cautious. The QX30 handles okay, but the instrument panel is difficult to access and the cargo space is limited. Additionally, the back seat is quite small. If you're looking for a traditional Infiniti, the QX50 might be a better option. Overall, I'm disappointed with my purchase and wish I had waited for something else.

I leased this car for 39 months, and I'm glad that it's coming to an end. While it has some features that I appreciate, overall it has been a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, it tends to lurch when I accelerate, and it requires premium gas which can be expensive. Additionally, some of the gadgets have had sporadic issues, which can be frustrating. Even the rear camera has had some issues, which can be a bit of a hassle. At one point, the motor in the passenger seat went out, which was a major inconvenience. However, the dealer was able to fix it within 6 days, which was appreciated. While I was waiting for my car to be fixed, the dealer gave me a GX50, which wasn't my favorite car, but it got the job done. The car can be a bit noisy, but it works best in sport mode. Overall, I'm looking forward to returning the car to the dealer.
