THE CAR WAS TOWED TO A SERVICE STATION WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS EVENTUALLY DETERMINED. REMOVAL OF THE REAR SEAT REVEALED THAT THE WIRING TO THE FUEL PUMP WAS SEVERELY MELTED AWAY. THE POWER WIRES TO THE FUEL PUMP DO NOT APPEAR TO BE THE MAIN PROBLEM HOWEVER, BUT THE SENDING UNIT WIRES HAVE COMPLETELY FAILED AND IN THE PROCESS DESTROYED THE OTHER WIRING AS WELL. THE FUSE TO THE FUEL PUMP HAS NEVER BLOWN WHICH IS THE ORIGIONAL FUSE.

It has plenty of room for trips to Home Depot, or taking my two Dobermans to the park. However, it may not be the fastest car on the road and other drivers can be inconsiderate at times.

I purchased my tracer in 1997, and unfortunately, I had problems with it almost immediately. The biggest issue I've had was with the transmission, which required a replacement. It ended up being very expensive, even though my Dad was able to do most of the work himself. While I wouldn't recommend this car to a friend, I hope my experience can help others make an informed decision.
