However, the vehicle inadvertently rolled backward independently, and hit the contact, causing him to flip up in the air, and the contact fell down at the curb on the driver's side of the driveway. The vehicle continued to roll down, rolled up the hill of the driveway, rolled back down, and crashed into the wall and mailbox box. The contact stated that bystanders assisted him up. The contact sought medical assistance the next day and was informed that he had sustained separation of muscles on the right side of his back. There was no police report filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot, where it was totaled. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and sent a field inspector to inspect the vehicle. The field inspector informed the contact that the EDR would not indicate the cause of the failure as it could not operate while the vehicle was turned off. The manufacturer later contacted the contact and informed him that they could not assist as the EDR did not reveal the cause of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE TOO LOW. I HAVE GOTTEN 4 FLATS BECAUSE OF POOR ILLUMINATION. I AM UNABLE TO DRIVER THE CAR AT NIGHT. - Summary: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Genesis G80, 2017-2022 G90, and 2019-2022 G70 vehicles equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 turbocharged engine. The left turbocharger oil feed pipe may deteriorate and leak oil.
- Consequence: An oil leak in the presence of hot engine components can increase the risk of an engine compartment fire.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace the left turbocharger oil feed pipe, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 3, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 019G. This recall expands and replaces recall number 19V-538. Vehicles previously repaired under 19V-538 will need to have the new remedy completed.

- Consequence: An engine compartment fire while parked or driving can increase the risk of injury.
- Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install a remedy relay kit in the engine junction box, free of charge. - Consequence: Oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold increases the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will replace the turbocharger oil supply pipe, free of charge. The recall began October 3, 2019. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 003G.

The Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate is an excellent value, offering 95% of the luxury and technology of established European luxury brands at only 70% of the price. While it may not have the Tri-Star, Rings or Propeller of those brands, the build quality, luxury amenities and ride quality are awfully close. As someone who has owned a few Infiniti's and other luxury brands, I can say that I am very satisfied with the Genesis. I understand that some may believe a Korean luxury car is an oxymoron, but I encourage you to give it a try. You have nothing to lose and may even find a better investment for the $25 grand you'll save. I strongly recommend taking a test drive and experiencing the quiet, luxurious, and safe ride for yourself. While the fuel economy may not be the greatest, the turbine smooth power is worth the trade off. After a year and a half of ownership, I can confidently say that this is the best car I have ever owned. The only issue I have encountered is with the LED headlights, which illuminate well up to about one car length before a dark line appears. I have brought this up with the dealer, but they have informed me that it is a normal occurrence with LED headlights. Nonetheless, this minor issue does not detract from the overall excellence of the Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate.I think the car is great, except for the headlights which I find dangerous when driving at night with only the high beams on. The Genesis launch could have been better, with a more advertised and better distributed dealer network. However, I still love my 2017 model, which is safe and comfortable, and has all the amenities I need. I hope Hyundai/Genesis will improve their act soon, so more people can enjoy these great cars. I have had no issues with the car, except for the original equipment tires which wore out quickly. I replaced them with the highly rated Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 and have been very happy with them. Overall, it is a fantastic road car that gets respectable mileage considering its size and a 420 hp V8. It does a lot of kid duty since our 6 year old great granddaughter lives with us during the week and we take her to school and pick her up plus the normal running around we do.I highly recommend the 2020 G90 for anyone looking for a luxurious and smooth ride. I recently traded in my 2017 for the 2020 model with the 5.0 V8 and I couldn't be happier. The interior still looks as good as the day I took delivery and I haven't had to spend a dime on service, except for the tires. While the European brands may have more cachet, the G90 offers comparable features and savings of $25,000 to $40,000. I've been a happy camper since I first got my 2017 and now with the 2020 G90, I'm even happier! It's been eight months since I got the 2020 G90 and I can confidently say that it's a fantastic bargain with noticeable improvements in ride quality and NVH.

I've been a BMW guy for 30 years, but now that I'm 62 and retiring, I wanted a new luxury car. Unfortunately, the BMW 550I is now very expensive. However, I recently heard about the Genesis G90 and was blown away by its $10,000.00 lower price tag. The interior luxury is much better, the electronics are superior, and it looks beautiful. I've decided to switch to Genesis from now on.

This car is extremely comfortable and powerful. It comes with most of the bells and whistles you could desire, making it a true keeper.

This car has been a beautiful, dependable car with every bell and whistle one could ask for. It's still a brand new car with very low mileage.
