- Summary: I had started breaking for impact of a dog on the freeway (had started tapping my breaks as I was slowing down, as there was no way to avoid the dog)…I was hit from the back by a F350 (pulling a full-size horse trailer w/ living quarters & 3 to 4 horses), which was traveling 70 to 75 MPH. Then I spun 2 to 3 times and was then hit in the front by a Tundra w/ a flatbed trailer on it. My car came to a complete stop as the engine stopped. I was facing the opposite direction. No air bags deployed! Luckily I was wearing my seatbelt!! The perfect vehicle was a TOTAL LOSS.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE LOCAL DEALER FRED BEANS FORD OF LANGHORNE (1939 LINCOLN HWY, LANGHORNE, PA 19047) WHO INSPECTED THE VEHICLE BUT FOUND NO FAILURE WITH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER OFFERED TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT BULBS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,600.

Firstly, I must say that I recently purchased my first Taurus SHO and it has exceeded all my expectations. In my opinion, this 2018 SHO is the best full-sized sedan on the market for the price. The 365HP ecoboost V6 is incredibly powerful and handles like a BMW, while still being very comfortable, especially for someone over 6' like myself. I highly recommend taking this car for a test drive and experiencing it for yourself. Don't let biased online reviews discourage you from considering this sleek and beautifully designed automobile.

This is one of the best sedans Ford has made, and it's a shame they never advertised it. They should have re-badged it and marketed it for its quality.

I recently traded in my 2010 Ford Fusion SEL for a brand new 2018 Ford Taurus SEL with lots of cool features. The only issue I've noticed is some hesitation when accelerating on the highway, but overall I'm really enjoying my new car. Plus, it's triple black which looks amazing!

The 2016 Ford 150 reg cab was a great vehicle that I enjoyed owning. However, due to my arthritis, the constant jerking of my neck on every bump made it difficult for me to continue driving it. As a result, I decided to trade it in for a 2018 Ford Taurus. Unfortunately, the Taurus did not meet my expectations. Within just two months, it had already depreciated by $12,000.00. Additionally, I noticed that the fuel gauge was not accurate, and the dealer's explanation was unsatisfactory. Despite the advertised fuel efficiency of 17 to 20 mpg for daily driving and 27 mpg on the open road, I was only able to achieve 20.5 mpg on a 200-mile trip. This was a significant downgrade from my previous vehicle, which was able to achieve 25 mpg. Overall, I am disappointed with my experience with the Ford Taurus.

The car is definitely good, but when compared to the Fusion, it falls short in every aspect except for its sturdy build and body frame, which is reminiscent of an armored car. The gearbox could have been more clever and it cruises at 70 mph with 2100 RPMs. It would have been great if an eight-gearbox option was available from the start or an overdrive at 6. If I were a Ford engineer, I would have opted for a longitudinal engine with rear-wheel drive, which would have been a classic. The Taurus, Explorer, and Flex could have been built on the Mustang 6cc chassis and shared the same specs.

I've read several reviews, all of which were positive. I'm curious, though, on which day of the week these cars were made. Mine must have been made on a Monday after a wild weekend! The 2018 Ford Taurus is a good-looking car with lots of bells and whistles. I loved it when I bought it. However, in the four years I've had it, I've experienced some problems, such as the windshield washer motor going out quickly, the lighted number panels on the front doors flying off one after the other, an exhaust leak at the headers (which won't pass inspection in NC), and the air conditioner going out on the front passenger side. It was also leaking antifreeze from underneath somewhere. It seems like there is always something wrong with this car. I don't think I'll chance getting another one. I hate making car payments and expensive repairs! It's a nice car, but the repairs... not so much!
