1995 Ford F700 problems
The medium-duty version of the Ford F-Series is a range of commercial trucks manufactured by Ford Motor Company since 1948. Derived from the smaller F-Series pickup trucks, the medium-duty range is currently in its eighth generation. Initially slotted between the F-Series pickup trucks and the "Big Job" conventionals, later generations were slotted below the L-Series "Louisville" trucks; the last two generations are the largest vehicles produced by Ford since its exit from the heavy-truck segment.
The medium-duty F-Series has been used for an extensive number of applications, offered as a straight (rigid) truck and a truck-tractor (for semitrailers) in multiple cab configurations. Prior to the production of the Ford C-Series, the model line was also offered in a cab-over engine (COE) configuration; a cowled-chassis variant (the Ford B-series) was used for bus production.
For the 2000 model year, the medium-duty F-Series has been branded as part of the Ford Super Duty range, consisting of the Class 6–7 Ford F-650 and F-750; Class 8 versions of the F-750 have been produced since 2011. The current generation of the medium-duty F-Series is manufactured by Ford in its Ohio Assembly facility (Avon Lake, Ohio), replacing a joint venture with Navistar International named Blue Diamond Truck Company LLC located in General Escobedo, Mexico.

Common 1995 Ford F700 problems
The Ford F700 1995, equipped with a 7.0L V8 engine, is known to have several common problems based on complaints from its owners. One of the main issues is the intermittent operation of the engine, which feels like the computer limits the engine above 70km/h. This problem could be due to a faulty ignition control module or a spout connector issue. The number of cylinders shown during the KOER test adds to the confusion, with the computer displaying 6 cylinders instead of the expected 8.
Another problem reported by owners is related to fuel and air intake systems. The MAP sensor and oxygen sensor are often cited as potential sources of issues, leading to the engine running out of fuel or experiencing a lack of power. The difficulty in finding the correct oxygen sensor for the F700 1995 model further complicates the issue.
The high-pressure oiling systems in the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine, which is also found in some Ford F700 models, are known to have problems. Reservoir gasket issues and cracks in the Hpop reservoir can lead to the engine pumping out all the oil upon start-up.
For the Allison transmission models used in some Ford F700 trucks, common problems include limp mode, incorrect installation, and TCM module recalls. Limp mode locks the transmission into third gear due to severe overheating or heavy towing, and it cannot be reversed without rebuilding the transmission.
In summary, the Ford F700 1995, 7.0L V8, and some of its diesel engine variants, as well as the Allison transmissions, have several common problems. These issues range from engine intermittent operation and fuel system faults to high-pressure oiling system problems and transmission malfunctions. Proper maintenance and addressing these issues promptly can help ensure the longevity and reliability of the Ford F700 1995.
