I also purchased this car new back in 1990. At that time, there weren't many options available for a 6 cylinder car at that price point. Although it was well taken care of and garaged, it unfortunately had quite a few problems over the years. The engine had to be pulled to replace a freeze plug, the transmission was weak from day one, and the ignition tumbler broke (which required a tow). Additionally, the battery imploded (another tow), the head gasket went, the high beams failed, the radio worked intermittently, and the heater stopped working. Finally, the main seal and cam seal went at the same time. Despite all of this, the body is still in perfect condition and it has the original exhaust system. The car currently has 121,000 miles on it.

This car may not be the most beautiful, but it performs exceptionally well and the five-speed transmission works perfectly. It's an absolute pleasure to drive on the highway and an incredible value for the price.

This was my first car that I bought a little less than a year ago and I have not had any problems at all. When I bought it, it only had 55,000 miles. The A/C is awesome and the only maintenance I have needed has been a normal oil change.
