Challenger production ended on December 22, 2023, and the Brampton, Ontario assembly plant will be re-tooled to assemble an electrified successor.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO PREMIER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM FIAT (13000 I-10 SERVICE RD, NEW ORLEANS, LA 70128) WHERE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS REPAIRED AND THE AIR BAG INDICATOR WAS TURNED OFF. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO HAVE THE LEAK REPAIRED, BUT WAS INFORMED THAT HIS WARRANTY WOULD NOT BE HONORED. AFTER THE AIR BAG INDICATOR WAS TURNED OFF, IT CONTINUOUSLY ILLUMINATED AGAIN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.

THE CONTACT ALSO HEARD CLICKING NOISES WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS STARTED. ALSO, THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW DID NOT ROLL BACK UP IN THE RAIN. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE CONTACT CALLED LANDMARK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF MORROW AT 770-968-4900 (LOCATED AT 6850 MOUNT ZION BLVD, MORROW, GA 30260) AND WAS INFORMED TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 64,000.

Upon deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to explode.
- Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could explode with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants potentially resulting in serious injury or death.

The affected vehicles have electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS) and are equipped with a 5.7L or a 3.6L engine and a 160, 180 or 220 amp alternator. In the affected vehicles, the alternator may suddenly fail.
- Consequence: If the alternator fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. There is also the possibility that the alternator may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator and depending on the part number, will replace the alternator, if necessary, free of charge. The car is great, but there are a few issues that need to be addressed. The shifters on the steering wheel are quite inconvenient and have caused accidental hits while driving. Additionally, there is an annoying clicking sound that seems to be coming from a vent issue. Despite taking the car to three different shops and spending hundreds of dollars, there still seems to be a brake issue. Overall, the car is good, but there are some areas where Dodge could have put more thought into the design.

Fun car to drive! The interior is comfortable and quiet, with excellent instrumentation. The acceleration is super and it's easy to drive and control. While the gas mileage isn't the best, I didn't buy this car for its fuel efficiency - I wanted power and zip! Overall, the Challenger is a very well-built and reliable car that I absolutely love!

I had a great experience at the dealership where I purchased my vehicle in Killeen, Texas. The dealership where I transferred it to also provided great support. The only downside to the car is the blind spot, but using the mirrors can help with this. As a female driver, I find the ride and comfort space in the cabin to be perfect. It's easy to drive with a great turning radius, and I love the power it has when I need it. I receive compliments on the color and look of the vehicle from both men and women. It has a classic muscle car look from the 70s and I'm still very happy with my 2012 Challenger RT. Update: 2012 is still the best muscle car for me!

I bought my car new in January of 2013 out of state and have loved it in every way since then, although I do wish it had GPS. It is equipped with an upgraded stereo/HD/speakers, 6-speed manual, etc., but unfortunately no sunroof. The car drives incredibly well and is comfortable even after 11-hour intrastate trips. I have gotten as high as 28mpg really trying to feather the throttle. I love the torque and power as well as the manual control of the gears. I have only needed one repair, when one shock absorber went bad. They were quite expensive, but I was able to convince the SRT division to help with the cost (it was out of warranty period time-wise but only had 19,xxx miles). Since then, the car has been flawless. Currently, it only has 35k miles as it is the fifth in the fleet. I do wish it had the later offered rear camera, though. Nothing has broken, and no rattles have emerged, despite some criticisms.
