The Cadillac Fleetwood was a full-size luxury sedan that was marketed by Cadillac from the 1976 to 1996 model years. Taking its nameplate from a coachbuilder historically associated with the General Motors division, the Cadillac Fleetwood became a stand-alone model line in 1985.
The first generation of the Fleetwood was introduced as Cadillac converted its C-body platform to front-wheel drive. THE TIRE TRAVELED ABOUT 350 YARDS ACROSS THE RIGHT HAND DRAINAGE AREA AND STOPPED IN A CULTIVATED FIELD ABOUT 100 YARDS FROM WHERE I STOPPED THE CAR. THE TIRE HAD BEEN PUT ON THE CAR ABOUT THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT AND HAD BEEN TORQUED TO THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS OF 100 FT/LBS. THE ROTOR REQUIRED REPLACEMENT ALONG WITH THE SHIELD THAT IS INSTALLED BEHIND THE ROTOR. THE RIGHT FRONT QUARTER PANEL (FENDER) WILL REQUIRE EXTENSIVE WORK OR REPLACEMENT. CADILLAC HAS SAID THAT THE LUG NUTS WERE OVERTORQUED AT SOME POINT. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE STUDS FAILED BECAUSE OF THE MATERIAL THAT WAS USED IN MANUFACTURE. I FEEL THAT FAILURES OF THIS TYPE ARE SERIOUS BECAUSE OF POTENTIAL TURNOVERS AND DAMAGE THAT MAY RESULT TO OTHER VEHICLES BY THE LOOSE WHEEL.*AK

I really like this car! I've had one before, as well as an Impala SS and a Buick Roadmaster Wagon (which are all on the same b-body platform). The detuned LT1 engine (which can go 0-60 in 8.5 seconds) is great on gas, getting 18/20 city and 22/24 highway, and is also very reliable. While there are some ergonomic and interior fascia flaws, there are plenty of cheap replacement parts available in bone yards. If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable car, this is definitely it. It may even become a collector's item in the future, although it's hard to predict popularity.

A very impressive looking car. It's very comfortable, quiet, and powerful. While the mpg in town isn't great, it's very good on the highway for a car of its size, averaging 30 mpg at 55-60 mph. So for a long trip, with all of that room and comfort, it's an absolute pleasure. And of course, we feel very safe in it.

You have a 95 Fleetwood Brougham with all the features. It's definitely one of the most comfortable cars I've ridden in, especially the back seat. The road noise is minimal, making it the perfect highway cruiser. Although it feels very long for town driving, it's still a great car overall.

This is the best new style lowrider vehicle! Along with the 93 and 95 Cadillac Fleetwoods, it was made to lowride. I love them and I even have a 93 myself.
