The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

The brakes went out completely in sept 2019 ( in 5-7 mph I could not stop in traffic even with them all the way pushed to the floor. and caused a front end collision ad the brakes been working normally this would have never happened. I was wondering what i needed to do ( or if i can ) to get reimbursed for the damages that i incurred on fixing my vehicle. ( around 4,000). Or if i need to notify Cadillac of this issue. Also the vehicle went in for repairs after the recall was issued ( we were never told or advised by the dealer that there was a recall open) and have no idea why the dealer would not even tell us, or advise us of such.

Was driving home from work in I-75 when the engine started knocking and vehicle began shaking & losing power. I was able to make it off an exit before it totally shutdown and would not crank again. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic where a Misfire code was reported; Repairs shop was compensated for repairs via extended warranty. Second incident March 2023– Approximately 1 year later, the same thing happened. I Was on my way to work, once again, on the interstate in morning rush traffic when the engine started rattling and shaking. When I looked down at the dashboard the check engine light was flashing and the traction system light was illuminated. Thankfully I was able to make it off an exit to a gas station. The vehicle was towed to a local repair shop. Misfire code P0300 was read and cylinders #7 and #8 were diagnosed with misfires with no vacuum leaks. This time the warrant company is not willing to pay and now I’ve become aware of Chevrolet TSB 15-06-01-002F. I’m not sure why this has not been classified as a recall safety issue, but there is sure & present danger when your vehicle suddenly loses power while traveling on the interstate. This engine is faulty and needs to be recalled. How many people have to die & families ruined for it to be deemed a “safety issue”?

- Summary: I have a 2015 Cadillac Escalade. It has been well taken care of. To my disappointment, this vehicle has been a money pit since day one. We have had to have all shocks replaced two times since January 16, 2020, costing thousands of dollars.The front cross bar was replaced the first time the shocks were replaced. The airconditioning system went out in the summer of 2020, replacement cost over 2500.00 The back suspension was just replaced in December 2022 for 2100.00. Running board motor wore out. Radio touch screen had to be replaced because it did not respond to tounch 1400.00 No warning lights appeared. SAFETY ISSUES**** The automatic seatbelt system no longer works since August 2022. Now the side detection system doesn't work since December 2022, replacement cost will be 1500.00 These have both been inspected by a dealer. These put myself, my passengers, and others at risk by not properly ensuring their safety while in my car and drivers in my blind spot. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle any longer. I don't know when or where it will malfunction next and that will extremely dangerous to those in my car and driving along side me. Needless to say, this vehicle has cost us more money than the beauty of the vehicle. These are a just a few of the issues we have encountered while owning it and I can honestly say, we will probably not purchase another Cadallic again.

- Summary: I bought the vehicle on May 27, 2021. I filled the tank with 87 octane on 3 separate occasions between May 27 and June 4, 2021.The engine (6.2L V8 L86 EcoTec) shut off during a trip on May 31, 2021. I was pulling into a restaurant and there were no indicators of any issues. While pulling up into the drive thru, the engine lost power. No Check Engine Light appeared at all. On a second trip (June 6, 2021), the engine again lost power while coming off of a highway exit. This time, I experienced loss of acceleration and then the vehicle shut off as I pulled into a parking lot. Both times I had to put the vehicle into park, shut off and then start back up. Again, no Check Engine Light. I drove the car to an auto parts store to buy a fuel additive. It was driving roughly at this point, but as I pulled into the parking lot, again a loss of power from the engine. It never started back up. Each time the vehicle shut off, I was driving it, not parked or stopped. There were also no indicators of any malfunction.

Informed service associate at the time, and then worked with the Service Manager after that. The Service Manager informed me of the GM service number I could call 1-800-333-4233 for customer service/good will request. At that number, Julia with GM stated the call needed to be done PRIOR to the repair, supervisor assist was requested but not made available. I've owned several GM products, and appreciated the quality and responsiveness to service issues. I hope GM can do better, and restore my faith in GM quality. During BBB process, GM avoided the issue(s) of their maintenance process and the shock absorber being outside of normal failure rates. Shocks failing/leaking oil at this age are well outside 'normal' expectations and points to a recall issue.

THIS OCCURS WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP LIGHT ON THE ROAD OR STOP AND GO TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY. AS FOR THE REVERSE ISSUE, THE CAR WILL ABRUPTLY ENGAGE THE BRAKING SYSTEM MAKING IT SEEM AS OF YOU HIT SOMEONE OR SOMEONE HIT YOU WHILE IN REVERSE. THIS OCCURS MAINLY WHEN REVERSING INTO A PARKING STALL. IT IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS AND CAN CAUSE WHIPLASH TO SOMEONE WHO IS NOT AWARE IT CAN OCCUR.

THE RECALL REGARDING THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKING UP ON ME IS MOST LIKELY THE REASON I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.
2015 Cadillac Escalade recalls
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued 7 recalls for different components of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
2019-09-06
- Manufacturer: General Motors LLC
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM
- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Cadillac Escalade, 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015-2018 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon vehicles. The amount of vacuum created by the vacuum pump may decrease over time.
- Consequence: As the vacuum level drops, the brake assist decreases, increasing braking effort, extending the distance required to stop the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the Electronic Brake Control Module, free of charge. The recall began October 8, 2019. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N192268490.

- Components: STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM
- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade vehicles. Electric power steering (EPS) assist may be lost momentarily, followed by a sudden return of EPS assist.
- Consequence: If EPS assist is lost and then suddenly returns, the driver may have difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the EPS module software, free of charge. The recall began October 12, 2018. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18289.

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Buick Lacrosse and Chevrolet Spark EV, Caprice PPV and SS vehicles, 2014-2017 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Corvette, Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, 2015-2016 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Tahoe, Trax, Suburban and Silverado 2500 and 3500 and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL vehicles, and 2015-2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500 vehicles. While being previously remedied for recall 16V-651, the affected vehicles may not have received the complete software update necessary to remedy the recall condition. Without the update, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. During this test, deployment of the frontal air bags and the seat belt pretensioners would not occur in the event of a crash.
- Consequence: A failure of the front air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy in the event of a crash necessitating deployment increases the risk of injury to the driver and front passenger.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 17287.

In the affected vehicles, certain driving conditions may cause the air bag sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) software to activate a diagnostic test. - Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV vehicles. The passenger side instrument panel top cover on the affected vehicles may have been manufactured using an incorrect spacer fabric, causing a reduction of adhesion between the spacer fabric and the vinyl show surface. This reduced adhesion may result in inconsistent passenger air bag deployment. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
- Consequence: Inconsistent air bag deployment increases the risk of personal injury in the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the instrument panel top cover, free of charge. The recall began on November 11, 2014. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is 14686.
2014-05-16

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV vehicles manufactured April 6, 2014, through May 13, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the air bag module is secured to a chute adhered to the backside of the instrument panel with an insufficiently heated infrared weld. This may result in only a partial deployment of the front passenger air bag in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
- Consequence: In the event of an accident, an air bag that only partially deploys increases the risk of occupant injury.
- Remedy: GM sent the owners an interim notification letter on May 16, 2014 to advise owners of the recall, and will mail owners a second letter when remedy parts are available. When the parts are available, dealers will replace the instrument panel right side upper trim panel, free of charge. The recall began on June 9, 2014. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is 14220. Note: Owners are advised that until the vehicle has been remedied, occupants should not sit in the front passenger seat position.

- Summary: General Motors is recalling certain 2014 model year Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles, and 2015 model year Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV; Chevrolet Silverado HD; and GMC Sierra HD, Yukon, and Yukon XL, equipped with a 4.3L engine or 5.3L engine.
- Consequence: The overheated exhaust components may melt nearby plastic parts and may result in an engine fire.
- Remedy: General Motors will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the engine control module, free of charge. The recall began on January 16, 2014. Owners may contact Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC at 1-800-462-8782. General Motors' number for this recall is 14008.

Hi there! I recently purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade with 48,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, when I was driving on 5/11/20 @ 12:58pm, the motor started knocking. I've always made sure to keep up with the recommended maintenance schedule, so I was surprised to encounter this issue. After taking it in for diagnostics, the dealership found that the motor had constant misfire in cylinder #8, and that the #8 intake lifter was stuck in the bore due to excessive pitting. They were able to fix it, but on 9/28/2021, I experienced another issue where the engine started idling very rough. I took it back to the dealership, but unfortunately they are saying that I need another motor and that I have to pay out of pocket. It's been frustrating to deal with these issues, especially since I own a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and never had any problems like this. I hope we can find a solution that works for both of us. I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my personal experience with the 2015 Escalade ESV Premium. While I was initially excited about the purchase, I must admit that my experience has been a bit disappointing. Despite the great reviews and excellent presentation on Cadillac's website, I don't believe the mainstream reviewers have ever driven this vehicle. As an owner of a 2008 CTS, which I absolutely love to drive, I was expecting a similar experience with the new SUV, but unfortunately, that was not the case. However, there are some positives to note, including the styling, performance, handling, ride (especially Sport), finish, sound system, and GPS. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts.

I recently purchased my dream car, a certified 2015 Escalade. Unfortunately, there has been a class action lawsuit against the transmission. Despite multiple trips to the dealership for a fluid change, Cadillac has only approved this solution. Additionally, I had to have the steering wheel replaced because it cut my finger when wiping it down and the radiator had to be replaced. After only a year and a half and less than 25,000 miles, I am looking forward to finding a new vehicle.
