An electrical connection in the front passenger seat for the occupant detection system (ODS) control module may loosen and deactivate the front passenger air bag.
- Consequence: A deactivated front passenger air bag will not deploy during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

After conducting extensive research over the past 18 months and test driving several SUVs and wagons, we ultimately chose the Audi Q7 for its smooth and quiet ride, impressive performance and acceleration, great gas mileage, and overall comfort. The Q7 is a truly compelling vehicle, packed with many technical aids and features that can be accessed and operated in multiple ways, albeit sometimes a bit challenging. The quality of materials and construction is absolutely top-notch, and the overall design is both elegant and functional. While the interior storage is on the smaller side, the outstanding visibility and various driver aids and cameras make driving the Q7 a truly pleasurable experience. We are pleased to report that the Q7 is averaging about 20 mpg in mixed driving and over 24 mpg at speed. Our research has definitely been validated by the 2021 Audi Q7 without a doubt.

The Audi Q7 was a pleasant surprise for us. We visited our local Audi dealer to check out a 2021 BMW X5 with 1800 miles on it. Since we already own an X3 2014 and wanted something bigger, we thought the X5 would be perfect. However, during the test drive, we were disappointed with the way it downshifted and handled. The salesman suggested we try the Audi for comparison, and we were blown away. The Audi is incredibly quiet, fast, and the Apple Play feature is life-changing. It can read your texts and emails aloud and send you alerts if you want. You can listen to all your music and podcasts, and the phone is so clear it sounds better than my landline. The infotainment system is easy to use, even if you're not tech-savvy. Despite its size, the car is easy and comfortable to drive, with the comfort and smoothness of a Cadillac and the sportiness and handling of our X3. My husband says it's like our old Range Rover and X3 had a baby. We opted for the premier package due to the double-pane windows, which help reduce noise on our state's noisy roads. The visibility is excellent, and there are many safety features too, including surround sound 3D stereo. The third-row seat is small, but it's perfect for emergencies. One feature I love is the ability to heat or cool the seat only on the bottom or only on my back, or both, which is great for long road trips. We considered other SUVs like the Range Rover, Tahoe, Explorer, Lexus G460, and Mercedes, but after reading numerous reviews and watching YouTube, we decided to go with the Audi. The only thing we don't like is the shiny black plastic trim inside along the dashboard, but it's an easy fix. We have a local company that wraps cars, and they're going to put a clear flat wrap on the dashboard to take away the shininess. Update April 2022: We still love this car and have taken it on some long road trips.Driving the AUDI Q7 is stress-free and enjoyable. The car provides a cocoon of silence, even at high speeds, with hardly any road noise. During one trip, a truck dropped a 25lb bag of dry concrete about a mile ahead of us, causing chaos on the road. However, the AUDI Q7 handled the situation with ease, and we were able to navigate around it without feeling out of control. The car's stability and control were impressive, and it felt like the car was saying, 'I got this.' We never ended up putting anything on the shiny part of the dashboard, but it doesn't bother us anymore. Every time we get into the car, we smile at each other and feel grateful to own such a wonderful vehicle. Although we considered selling it since it's worth more than what we paid, we always change our minds after taking it for a spin.

I've only had my Q7 for a couple of weeks, and I must say, coming from an Ultra Premium Plus A4, this SUV definitely feels more luxurious. The pano roof is great, and the Bang & Olufsen stereo is my favorite. The ride is great, with the exception of the seat, which is okay but not great. The technology is on point, but it can be very distracting. I suggest using the Audi cockpit for changing the radio, etc., while driving. There is no cargo space unless the 3rd row is down, which I'm fine with. The exterior style of the car is nice, with a touch of sportiness, and I love the turbine wheels. My son, who is almost 6ft, has headroom and a little more legroom in the SUV, and that was a big factor in this lease. Overall, I'm happy so far.

We recently explored various options in the 3-row SUV market, including the BMW X5 and the Volkswagen Atlas, but ultimately decided on the 2021 Audi Q7. It offers an unbeatable combination of space, luxury, features, design, and performance. The Q7 boasts a stunning interior and exterior design. The cockpit features three screens for viewing gauges, infotainment, and HVAC, among other things. While the tech may be slightly overwhelming at first, it works seamlessly once you get the hang of it. The seating is incredibly comfortable, and you can adjust the legroom by sliding the middle seats forwards and backwards. We particularly love the giant glass roof and the fantastic LED headlights. However, we were surprised to find that remote starting is not included, even on Premium Plus models like ours. The Audi website could do a better job of listing all the standard features in one place. Nevertheless, the Q7's turbo V6 model has more than enough power, and it's surprisingly quick with a 5.0 second 0-60 time according to Car and Driver. The Q7 is very well built and feels incredibly solid and tight over bumpy roads and potholes. While the pricing is towards the premium end of the spectrum, we believe it's worth every penny.

This SUV is a real beauty, but the technology employed, which truly is extraordinary when working well, can be a bit unstable, failing and faulting nearly 25% of the time. We’ve had our Q7 for 6 months and it’s been back to the dealership 5 times. I know all the service advisors by name now, and they have been very helpful in resolving the issues. It’s frustrating when things don't work as expected, but the service team has been great in getting everything back on track. For one of the many examples, the system is constantly “updating.” The last update - which ended up causing a return to the service department - took 5 days. 5 days of no navigation, no phone, no radio, no nothing. It was like driving a brick. A very very expensive brick. Overall, when everything is working well, you’ll never find a better experience. It’s THAT good.

I recently purchased a 2021 Audi Q7, but unfortunately, I have had some issues with it. Before reaching 18K miles, I had to replace the exterior sensors twice, an interior light, and one of the required $600 'drive flat' tires. Each time I took the vehicle to the dealership, it took at least a month to repair. In my experience with Acura, Range Rover, Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, Subaru, Chevrolet, and Ford vehicles, I have found the Audi to be the most unreliable. I would caution anyone considering purchasing an Audi to thoroughly research the vehicle and dealership before making a decision.

When considering the cost, it may be beneficial to explore other vehicle options. My personal experience with the 2022 model has been less than satisfactory. Despite having the car since December, I have had to return to the dealership multiple times due to issues with the technology panels. Unfortunately, the panels have not been functioning properly and I have spoken with five different representatives who have acknowledged the issue as a glitch that is currently being addressed. The technology has been a major inconvenience, as I am currently unable to access important features such as the radio, temperature control, garage door opener, and cameras. Additionally, the car has proven to be quite a gas guzzler, requiring refueling every couple of days at a cost of $100. In comparison, I found the 2019 Q5 to be of better quality.

I've had this new vehicle for exactly 3 months now and unfortunately, I've been experiencing some issues with the screen. It's been difficult to operate the GPS, Climate or simply the radio. However, I took it to the dealership 6 days ago and Audi wanted to be involved because of course, it's a new car and this problem may affect similar models. They think the screen needs to be changed and I'm hopeful that this will resolve the issue. It's frustrating to have these problems with a new car, but I'm confident that the dealership will take care of it. I'll be sure to update this review soon with more information.

The map could use some improvement. It's not possible to adjust it while driving, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the AC has a tendency to reset itself after you've set it up to your liking. It seems like the 2017 model was more user-friendly compared to the 2022 model.

This car has a great engine and looks fantastic. However, there are a few things to be aware of that may detract from your enjoyment. Firstly, the entertainment system can be slow to initialize, which can be frustrating when you're in a hurry. Secondly, the cell reception can be poor in some areas, which can cause the smartphone interface to disable. This means you may not be able to listen to music or use other features. Additionally, there may be some rattling in the back seats when driving on bumpy roads, which can be annoying on long journeys. To fix this, you can try putting a hand towel between the seat and metal structure beneath it. It's also important to be careful when handling the interior, as the aluminum details are quite delicate. Finally, when covering your cargo, make sure to be precise to avoid any scratches or tears. Overall, this is a great car, but it's important to be aware of these minor issues.I won't describe what happens if you cough during it, but I'm sure you've got the idea. Also, be careful not to carry the car key in your pockets or hands. The buttons on the fob are so sensitive that even slight contact with anything can activate it. Once, I found my car at a public parking lot with its hatch completely open, offering all my fancy luggage to anybody walking by. Thankfully, it was Canada, and nobody steals in Canada, right? The only way to avoid this is to wear the car key on a necklace. It's secure and questionably fashionable. Lastly, the headlights are more like head candles. I think they took the headlights from ten years ago. You can barely see the road at night in a way you would see it from a Toyota Prius. It's unbelievably bleak. That's all I've discovered so far after owning it for six weeks.
