2021 Acura Nsx problems
The Honda NSX, marketed in North America as the Acura NSX, is a two-seater, rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car manufactured by Honda.
The origins of the NSX trace back to 1984, with the HP-X (Honda Pininfarina eXperimental) concept, for a 3.0 L (180 cu in) V6 rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. Honda, with the intention of meeting or exceeding the performance of the then V8 engine Ferrari range, committed to the project, aiming at both reliability and a lower price. The concept evolved and had its name changed to NS-X, which stood for "New", "Sportscar" "eXperimental", although the production model was launched as the NSX.
Gordon Murray, the designer of the McLaren F1 supercar, stated that he used the NSX as the inspiration after test driving many high-performance cars and finding that the NSX chassis performed the best. Murray found the design was "monumental" for sportscar design. He claimed the car could "easily" have handled more power and attempted to convince Honda to develop a more powerful engine, but Honda declined. This resulted in Murray developing his F1 with a BMW engine, but he was so fond of the NSX that he bought one for personal use - and drove it for 75,000 kilometres (47,000 mi). Murray said the NSX was "dear to his heart".

Common 2021 Acura Nsx problems
The Acura NSX, a two-seat sports car with a mid-engine system, has been a popular choice for car enthusiasts since its introduction. However, like any vehicle, the NSX has its share of common problems that owners have reported.
One common issue with the NSX is battery troubles. This can manifest in various ways, such as difficulty starting the car or the battery draining quickly. While this issue can occur in any year of the NSX, it is essential to stay on top of regular maintenance and address any battery-related problems promptly to avoid more significant issues down the line.
Another common problem with the NSX is cracks on the brake rotors. This can be a safety concern, as it can lead to reduced braking performance or even brake failure. Again, this issue can occur in any year of the NSX, and it is crucial to have the brake system inspected regularly and addressed promptly if any issues are found.
The NSX can also experience noise in the suspension system. This can be caused by various factors, such as worn-out bushings or damaged suspension components. If left unaddressed, this issue can lead to reduced handling performance and a less comfortable ride.
Additionally, uneven gaps in the panels can be a common issue with the NSX. This can be caused by poor panel fitment or damage to the vehicle's body. While this issue may not significantly impact the vehicle's performance, it can detract from the car's overall appearance and value.
It is important to note that the Acura NSX is generally considered a reliable vehicle, with many owners reporting positive experiences. However, like any vehicle, regular maintenance and prompt attention to any issues that arise are crucial to ensuring the NSX's longevity and performance.
Regarding the 2021 Acura NSX, there have been no widespread reports of common problems specific to that model year. However, it is always essential to stay up-to-date on any recalls or safety issues that may affect the vehicle. For example, in 2019, the NSX was recalled due to a fuel pump failure that could cause the engine to stall and increase the risk of a crash.
In summary, while the Acura NSX is generally considered a reliable vehicle, there are common problems that owners have reported, such as battery troubles, cracks on the brake rotors, noise in the suspension system, and uneven gaps in the panels. Regular maintenance and prompt attention to any issues that arise are crucial to ensuring the NSX's longevity and performance. Additionally, it is essential to stay up-to-date on any recalls or safety issues that may affect the vehicle, such as the fuel pump failure and crossover pipe leaks that have affected previous model years.
Is Acura NSX reliable?
The nature of the question, “Which NSX has the most miles,” makes it an ever-changing, and difficult-to-settle one. However, with two examples racing towards 500,000 miles (804,672 km), it's safe to say that the NSX is no exception to the legend of Honda reliability.
Why is Acura NSX not selling?
The Acura ILX has been discontinued because the company plans to focus on the Acura Integra for the sedan market in the United States. The Acura NSX, on the other hand, has been discontinued due to declining sales and the company's focus on electric vehicles.
Is NSX expensive to maintain?
1 Acura NSX
The average annual maintenance cost of the Acura NSX is about $354, which is basically half the maintenance cost of an average vehicle.
Is the Honda NSX a good car?
The Honda NSX is a seriously fast sports car with a high-tech hybrid petrol-electric engine that means it can drive in silent electric power alone. It doesn't have the same badge kudos as the likes of an Audi R8 or a Porsche 911, but it more than makes up for that with its impressive turn of speed and space-age looks.

This is a fantastic car that combines the best qualities of Ferrari and Porsche in an affordable package. It can be used as a daily driver, but it may not be suitable for snowy or icy conditions unless equipped with proper tires and clearance. The car has low clearance and cannot be raised to clear snow. The electric assist provides instant acceleration, eliminating turbo lag, and the front electric motors' torque vectoring works seamlessly to help carve turns at any speed. So far, I have driven over 7,000 miles without any issues.

My wife and I absolutely adore the appearance of this stunning white NSX, complete with numerous carbon fiber highlights. It's also incredibly fast, as Meatloaf would say, 'like a bat out of hell'. My kids, who are in their 30s, often bring their friends along for a ride. While the electronics are good, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the 10 years of free map updates to work, as well as the garage door opener. At first glance, the trunk may seem small, but it's actually quite wide and can hold plenty of soft luggage, such as duffel bags, for several days of travel. It's also incredibly easy to drive. My wife initially said she would never drive a supercar, but she ended up driving it half of the way home from the dealer and said, 'It drives like a normal car', unless you put your right foot down, of course. I particularly appreciate how quiet it is in sport mode. We both love the red-black interior, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. It definitely turns heads wherever we go. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this purchase.
